What we provide

Retail display installation

Tell us what the display is, how it is built and what the store should receive. We confirm the people, product instructions, access and completion requirements before the visit.

Transport

Deliver the complete display kit

Provide a component list, packed dimensions and protection requirements. We plan collection and vehicle space around the display, graphics and fittings so separate components arrive with a clear destination and purpose.

Assembly

Build the agreed unit

Send the assembly instructions, product references and any training requirement. Synergix can train or appoint suitably skilled people for the work accepted. A straightforward stand and a technical installation need different preparation.

Positioning

Follow the approved store plan

Give the final position, orientation and any clearance requirements. Store contacts and current drawings help the crew distinguish a promotional space from a stockroom holding point, with changes agreed before work proceeds.

Handover

Record what was completed

Agree the final checks, condition record and any required photographs. Identify who signs for the goods and who approves the display work. Transport proof of delivery and installation acceptance can be different parts of the handover.

The handling plan still matters.

Vehicle capacity does not establish what a person or team can lift. Tail-lift capacity, the whole platform load, ground conditions and the carrying route need checking. Body conversions and equipment can reduce useful space and payload.

Practical product and project detail

Displays and fixtures to discuss with us.

Share the actual product, not just a photograph of the intended shop floor. We assess the component handling, build method and installation requirements for your display.

  • Merchandising furniture
  • Branded fixtures
  • Graphics and accessories
  • Display changes
Freestanding point-of-sale displays

For promotional stands and freestanding display units, provide the packed kit, assembly guide and final layout. Tell us whether the job includes shelving, graphic panels or product placement, rather than assuming these follow automatically from delivery.

Counters, plinths and display tables

Give weights, dimensions, surface finishes and any separable parts. Heavy bases, glass tops and polished surfaces may require a different handling method from lightweight display components.

Product-specific display systems

Send the customer or manufacturer specification and expected finish. If a display needs particular tools, training, fixing or adjustment, identify it before the team is selected and the installation date is agreed.

Panels, headers and finishing pieces

List the graphic parts and how they attach to the unit. Confirm which graphics belong to which site or campaign and which items must be handed to the store. Adhesive, mounted or powered elements need an exact accepted task description.

Replacement units and campaign exchanges

Specify the old display being collected, how it is to be dismantled or protected and its onward destination. A new unit delivery and an outgoing fixture are separate loads with separate handling needs.

The product brief comes first

Turn a display drawing into an agreed job.

Retail installations fail when the intended result is clear but the practical tasks are not. Give the team a usable specification, product instructions and a decision-maker.

Components

Confirm the complete kit

Identify parts, fixings, graphics and any tools supplied with the unit. Check whether items arrive from one supplier or several. Missing components or a different product version should be raised before the store visit wherever possible.

Method

Agree the exact installation work

State whether the unit is freestanding, assembled in place or requires fixing. Identify wall or floor work, electrical connections, working at height and other specialist tasks. We confirm permission, suitability and competent people for the accepted work.

Store position

Use the current approved plan

Provide a clear drawing with the display location, orientation and relevant measurements. The team needs enough room to assemble and position it without assuming that a manager will redesign the space on arrival.

Completion

Set the sign-off requirements

Agree what a finished visit includes: unit built, position checked, graphics fitted where booked, packaging handled and exceptions recorded. If photographs are required, say which views and references are useful before the programme begins.

A display installation has a defined scope.

We do not assume every crew can undertake building alterations, powered connections or specialist fixing. Tell us exactly what is required so the work and suitable skills can be confirmed.

Store rules and customer activity

Work to the store, not just the postcode.

A store may need a booked loading slot, shopping-centre approval or a time outside trading hours. Include these details with the product schedule.

Receiving

Arrange the correct entrance

Give the loading bay, access route, vehicle restrictions and store contact. Shopping-centre and managed-site procedures should be shared before arrival, including permits, security registration or induction requirements.

Trading hours

Agree a workable installation slot

Tell us when the floor is available, whether the store remains open and how staff or customers use the same space. Early, evening or overnight work can be discussed, subject to crew and site availability.

Repeat sites

Keep one programme and site-specific detail

For several stores, use consistent product and completion instructions while keeping local access, contacts and quantities separate. A national campaign still needs each address to be ready to receive and install its allocation.

Outgoing goods

Plan the space needed for returns

List packaging, old displays and reusable parts being collected, with the agreed destination. Account for dismantling and protection where needed. Disposal or recycling is a separate arrangement to confirm.

Why choose Synergix?

The people and capability behind the work.

A practical plan, suitably prepared people and an accountable team to follow the work through.

Teams prepared for the unit

Train for your specification

We can train or appoint suitably skilled drivers and mates for accepted product tasks. A clear display manual and agreed method give your programme a practical starting point before the first store appointment.

Retail experience

Understand the delivery chain

Synergix supports major national retail work, including furniture and store logistics. That experience helps connect supplier collection, booked store access, on-site handling and handover in a single agreed operation.

Transport protection

Fully insured transport

Declare the display value, fragile parts and handling requirements so applicable transport cover can be checked. Installation tasks on the premises have their own scope and cover requirements, confirmed before booking.

Evidence

Tracking and proof of delivery

Transport visibility helps your team follow the goods. Agree extra installation photographs, store references and checklists so completion evidence shows the work you commissioned, rather than relying on a delivery signature alone.

Practical planning

Three generations of transport experience

The load order, store entrance and build sequence all affect the result. Our family transport experience supports a practical approach to those details, with responsible people available when a plan needs attention.

Active support

Available 24/7/365

Our operations team supports delivery programmes and changes outside standard office hours. Store appointments and trained-crew availability remain specifically agreed, including any early or overnight work.

How the job works

From the brief to the handover.

Agree the work before the appointment so the goods, people, time and site arrangements fit together.

  1. Send the display brief

Share the product manual, layout, quantities and store access requirements. Identify any prototype or training needs.

  2. Confirm the operation

Agree scope, suitable people, vehicles, dates, site permissions and the required completion record.

  3. Deliver and install

The team follows the accepted product and store instructions, raising missing parts or changed conditions with your contact.

  4. Handover and collect

Review agreed completion checks and exceptions, then move the specified packaging or outgoing units to their confirmed destination.

Price and preparation

What we need to quote.

Pricing depends on the display, transport, crew skills, build time, store access and agreed finish. Repeat visits can be planned as a programme, but site differences still affect the work. Send the product method and store schedule so the quotation includes the tasks that matter to your launch.

Answers before you book

Retail display installation questions.

Service scope, preparation and the details that affect the booking.

Can you deliver and install retail displays?

Yes, where the specific product and tasks are agreed. Provide the display specification, assembly instructions, store details and required finish so we can confirm suitable people and equipment.

Do you assemble point-of-sale displays?

Send the actual unit and build instructions. Freestanding units, shelving, panels and accessories can involve different tasks. We confirm what the crew will build and fit before accepting the booking.

Can your team be trained for our display products?

Yes. Synergix can train drivers and mates for accepted customer requirements or appoint appropriately skilled people. Share the method, training needs and expected work before a store programme is scheduled.

Can you install the same display in several stores?

Yes, by arrangement. Give each address, allocation, local contact, access rules and appointment requirement. We can agree common instructions and completion records while planning the differences between sites.

Can you work before opening or after closing?

Ask for the required hours. Out-of-hours visits depend on suitable crew availability, building access and store permission. Our 24/7 operations support does not automatically reserve an installation crew at any time.

Do you fix displays to walls or floors?

Fixing needs explicit agreement. Supply the product method, surface details, permissions and any specialist requirement. Do not assume structural or other fixing is part of a general display assembly quotation.

Do you connect lighting, screens or powered equipment?

Only where the exact task and suitable competence are confirmed in advance. Identify electrical connections, data work, testing or commissioning separately. Delivery and positioning alone do not include them.

Will you place stock or merchandise on the display?

Ask for the exact task and provide the agreed layout, quantities and product instructions. Display installation does not automatically include merchandising or stock management.

Can you remove an old display and the new packaging?

Yes, if pre-arranged. List items, dismantling needs, condition, protection and the nominated destination. Disposal or recycling requires its own confirmed arrangement.

What evidence can we receive after the visit?

Synergix provides transport tracking and proof of delivery. Agree any extra installation checklist, photographs or site-specific report before booking, including which checks matter for your display.

What if parts are missing or the store is not ready?

The team raises the issue with the nominated decision-maker. We agree the next step, record exceptions and discuss any changed timing, work or return visit rather than leaving the outcome unclear.

Where do you provide retail display installation?

We arrange mainland UK work. Island visits are considered individually around transport, crossings, site access and the required timetable. Provide the exact locations with your enquiry.
