What do you need completed?
From the warehouse to the finished position.
A delivery, a room-of-choice handover and an assembled product involve different work. Tell us the result you need so transport and the on-site tasks are planned together.
Move the products
Collection and delivery
We arrange the vehicle around the packed goods, quantities, protection and loading method. Collection can connect with storage, consolidation and scheduled dispatch when the installation date is later than the stock arrival.
Put them in place
The agreed room or site
We plan the handling from the vehicle to the final position. Include parking, walking distance, floors, stairs, lifts and the space available to unpack and manoeuvre. The receiving site matters as much as the vehicle capacity.
Complete the agreed work
Assembly and installation
Suitable builds and product-specific installation are scoped around the product instructions, tools, competence and time needed. Specify final positioning, packaging and the handover record rather than rely on the word installation alone.
Teams trained around your requirements.
Our experience ranges from sofa installations and garden pergolas to ATM and IT work and bar equipment, including kegs and taps. We can train teams or appoint suitably skilled drivers and mates for agreed customer requirements. Share the exact tasks and product instructions so we can confirm the people and equipment.
Tell us what your customer expects.
For example, six desks delivered to a loading bay is a different brief from six desks carried upstairs, assembled, positioned by workstation and handed over with packaging removed. Describe each task when you ask for the quote.
People, access and the actual task
Do you need a two-person team?
You do not need to work this out alone. Send the product and access details and we will assess the people and handling needed for the job.
More than a weight question.
A bulky item can be difficult to control even when it is light. An instruction sheet may require one person to support a component while another fixes it. Stairs, narrow turns, fragile surfaces and room placement can all change the team and equipment needed.
- Check the manufacturer’s handling and assembly instructions.
- Provide the size and weight of each packed section, not just the completed product.
- Include the route through doors, corridors, stairs and lifts.
- Describe the working space, final position and assembly tasks.
Do not assume the customer or site staff will help lift. Tell us where assistance is needed at collection, delivery and assembly. A second person may join at the delivery point; the arrangement is agreed for the job.
Include packed dimensions, weight, photographs where useful, product instructions and the route to the room. We will confirm the team and any equipment before booking.
This choice is a starting point for your enquiry. It is not a handling assessment or a booking, and it is not sent automatically.
Types of products we support
Products with a plan for the final step.
Start with the product, then tell us what needs doing at the destination. These are common enquiries we can assess, with the exact installation scope confirmed before booking.
- Home furniture
- Office furniture
- Retail displays
- Hospitality furniture
- Multi-site programmes
- Other product projects
Beds, wardrobes, tables and modular furniture
Furniture assembly starts with the actual model and its instructions. Send all carton counts, packed weights, finished dimensions and any two-person assembly symbol. We can plan delivery, room placement and an agreed build together. Drawers, doors and final positioning should be included in the brief. If the manufacturer requires an anti-tip fixing, raise it before booking so the fixing work and permissions can be assessed.
Desks, chairs, tables and workplace storage
For an office project, give us the item schedule, floor plan and room or desk references. Identify reception rules, loading-bay bookings, lift reservations and when staff need the space. Specify assembly, placement and packaging collection against each product. That lets us plan the work in the right order and avoid mixing components between floors or leaving the business to sort a delivery of unallocated cartons.
Display units and store fixtures
For freestanding displays and suitable retail units, share drawings, instructions, quantities and the final position in each store. Include stockroom access, trading hours and any restrictions on tools or noise. Drilling, permanent fixing, connection and work at height need an explicit scope and competence check. An agreed display build can be coordinated with the delivery and any return of reusable packaging.
Room sets, public areas and venue projects
Hotels and venues need the right items in the right rooms, with working areas kept usable. Provide room allocations, installation phases, lift access and the dates when areas are ready. Tell us whether furniture arrives assembled or needs building on site. We can assess a delivery and installation programme around those requirements, including agreed packaging removal and an identified handover contact.
Repeat products across several locations
Supply the product list alongside a site schedule. The same unit may require different handling at a ground-floor store and an upper-floor office. Record the access and completion tasks for each address, any site-specific instructions and the reporting you need. A consistent brief helps each team understand what completion means while allowing for the actual conditions at each site.
Bulky, unusual or specialist items
Show us the product before arranging an appointment. Photographs, instructions, dimensions and weight help establish whether we can provide the required team, equipment and installation skills. Garden structures and other specialist builds need their own assessment. Transporting an item does not automatically establish that we can assemble, connect, commission or permanently fix it. We confirm the tasks we can undertake before booking.
Transport matched to the product
Space for the goods. Access for the job.
Packed dimensions, protection, payload, loading method and site access guide vehicle selection. The installation team and tools are arranged separately from the vehicle’s load capacity.

Vehicle dimensions do not establish that a product will pass through a doorway or can be carried safely. Body type, tail lift and other equipment can reduce usable space and payload. Confirm the actual vehicle, door openings, lift rating and unloading arrangements for your load.
Prepare the route and the workspace
A product can fit the van and still miss the room.
Measure and describe the complete route into the property, plus the space needed to unpack, turn and assemble the product.
Getting to the building
Parking, access and appointments
Tell us about loading-bay bookings, height or vehicle restrictions, distance from parking, access hours and any pedestrian route. Identify permits, inductions or a site escort in advance. The right vehicle for the products also needs to reach a suitable unloading point.
Getting to the room
Doors, turns, stairs and lifts
Provide the narrowest door and corridor measurements, changes of direction, floor number and stair details. For a lift, include internal size, door opening and capacity. Measure the product in the orientation it must travel. A photograph helps explain an awkward route but does not replace dimensions.
Space to work
Clear, ready and allocated
Make the agreed room and working area available. Identify which cartons form each product and keep fittings and instructions with the order. For multiple rooms or sites, label by destination. Tell us who can confirm positions and authorise changes on the day.
Safe completion
Follow the product instructions
Flag anti-tip restraints, permanent fixings, fragile materials and any specialist connection before the visit. An assembly needing wall fixing or technical work must have that task addressed before it is considered complete. A different fitting or on-site improvisation needs an agreed decision.
How the job works
A clear brief at every stage.
Use one delivery or a planned programme. The team needs the same agreed instructions from the first collection to the site handover.
- Share the brief
Product list, instructions, scope, access and dates. Tell us what finished needs to look like.
- Agree the plan
We confirm suitable transport, people, equipment, appointment and on-site work.
- Collect and deliver
Products move to the agreed schedule, with handling and room access planned.
- Complete the work
The team carries out the agreed build, placement and installation tasks. Changes are referred back.
- Confirm the outcome
Record delivery and agreed completion evidence. Identify exceptions, returns or follow-up.
For multi-site work, give each location its own quantities, contact, access notes and acceptance criteria. Delivery POD confirms a handover; agree any photographs, installation checklist or customer sign-off you also require.
Why choose Synergix?
Delivery that protects your customer relationship.
The final visit represents your business as well as ours. We connect the transport with a clear plan for the people, product and handover.
Product and people
The handling fits the work
Teams trained or appointed for the agreed customer requirements, assembly and placement help you offer a considered final delivery. We check the product instructions and access instead of leaving a customer to negotiate the installation scope when the vehicle arrives.
Insured transport
Cover matched to the consignment
Fully insured transport supports the movement of your products. Declare what they are and their value so the applicable cover can be agreed. Ask separately about the scope of on-site installation cover; transport insurance alone does not define it.
Tracking and POD
Know where the delivery stands
Live tracking and proof of delivery help your team follow the transport and confirm the handover. Registered customers can use the booking, tracking and POD portal. Agree installation photos, task checklists or other completion records for the operation.
The wider programme
Storage and delivery connected
Use Synergix for supplier collection, warehousing, consolidation and onward delivery as well as the agreed on-site work. UK and European transport can support the wider project. Installation team availability is checked for each destination and scope.
When plans change
People available to act
Our operations team supports live work 24/7/365. Suitable urgent replacement parts can use our 60-minute UK-wide courier collection proposition, with timing confirmed for the actual job. That gives you a transport option while the installation appointment is separately agreed.
Experience that matters
National work with personal accountability
Trusted by some of the furniture sector’s largest companies, Synergix understands how the final visit affects the retailer’s reputation. Three generations of family transport experience inform the planning, and a person remains responsible for managing the agreed work.
Courier collection timing depends on postcode, load, traffic, vehicle and availability. Two-person teams and installation appointments have their own confirmed schedule.
Agree the installation scope
Make the brief precise before the visit.
Confirm the product and tasks so your customer, the site and the delivery team all expect the same service.
Core enquiries
Delivery, assembly and placement
Suitable furniture builds and product-specific installation can be planned around the manufacturer’s instructions. Give the product, quantity, access, room position and assembly requirement. We confirm the scope, team and time before booking.
Specify separately
Fixings, packaging and additional work
Request wall or floor fixing, drilling, packaging removal, old-item collection, dismantling or rework explicitly. Identify surface, fixings, permissions, material, quantity and destination as relevant. These tasks are not assumed to be included in every installation quote.
Specialist requirements
Connections and commissioning
Electrical, gas, plumbing, structural alterations, technical commissioning and specialist access require separate assessment and appropriate competence. This page does not offer those services as standard. Raise the exact requirement so its availability can be established before the visit.
If the job cannot be completed.
Tell us who can make decisions on site. Missing parts, damage, blocked access or unsuitable fixings need a recorded exception and an agreed next step. Extra work, return transport or a second visit must be agreed. The team should not improvise an unsafe build or describe a partly installed product as finished.
What, where and when
A useful quote starts with the whole job.
Send the product list and instructions with the access details. If you are unsure about the vehicle or team, ask us to assess the requirement.
- Products and quantitiesManufacturer, model, order references, carton counts and quantities by room or site.
- Size and weightPacked dimensions and weight of each component, plus finished size and orientation restrictions.
- Installation instructionsAssembly manual, drawings, tools, fixings, skills and the tasks to be completed.
- People and equipmentYour team preference, handling aids, loading support and help needed at each end.
- Site and room accessParking, carrying distance, floors, stairs, doors, lift size and capacity, permits and inductions.
- Dates and contactsReady date, collection and receiving windows, site contact and authorised handover person.
- Packaging and returnsMaterials and quantities to remove, return destinations and any old-item collection.

What affects the price?
Goods, route, vehicle, people and assembly time form the starting point. Stairs, carrying distance, parking, booked slots, waiting, site inductions, tools, fixings, packaging removal and return work can change the quote. For several sites, include the full programme so transport, time and repeat work can be planned together.
UK-wide enquiries are welcome across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Remote locations, islands and European projects may need extra route and team planning. We confirm installation coverage, travel and appointments against the actual job.
Answers before you book
Delivery and installation questions.
Practical answers about team size, product preparation, the agreed work and the final handover.
What does your product installation service include?
We can coordinate collection, transport, placement, assembly and agreed product-specific installation for suitable products. Your quote must identify the exact tasks, team, tools, access and completion requirements. Unpacking, packaging removal, fixings, returns and additional visits are included only where agreed.
Do I need a two-person delivery or installation team?
Possibly. Tell us the packed size and weight, shape, lifting points, access and assembly instructions. Stairs, awkward turns or a build that needs two people can affect the team even when the product is not particularly heavy. Choose “I am not sure” and send the details if you need help. Our team confirms the handling arrangement.
Is there a weight at which two people are always required?
There is no single weight figure that makes every product or route suitable for one or two people. The size, balance, grip, frequency, stairs, carrying distance and work involved all matter. Two people also do not make every load manageable. We assess the full task and any handling equipment required.
Do both team members travel from collection?
The arrangement depends on the booked job. A second person may join at the delivery point rather than travel from collection. If two people are required to load, unload or carry at either end, say so when requesting the quote so support is planned at those stages.
Can you assemble flat-pack furniture and office products?
Yes, suitable furniture assembly can be agreed with delivery and placement. Send the manufacturer, model, quantities, carton count and instructions. Identify missing components, specialist tools and any wall or floor fixing requirement in advance so the task, competence and time allowance can be confirmed.
Can you secure furniture to a wall or floor?
Request that work before booking. Tell us the product, fixing instructions, proposed surface and any landlord or site permission requirements. Where a manufacturer requires a safety fixing, it must be addressed in the plan. Do not assume that drilling or permanent fixing is included, or that an unfinished item can be signed off as ready to use.
Do you install electrical, gas or plumbed products?
Technical installations are assessed around the exact product and required skills. Electrical, gas, plumbing and commissioning tasks are separate requirements and are not included automatically. Describe the exact work before booking so we can establish whether a suitable arrangement is available. Do not book a standard delivery expecting those connections to be made on arrival.
Who supplies tools, instructions and fixings?
Provide the product instructions and identify every component and fixing expected with the goods. Tell us about tools or consumables specified by the manufacturer. We agree what the team brings and what must be available on site before confirming the work. A generic installation booking does not guarantee that every possible bracket, fitting or specialist tool is carried.
Can you deliver upstairs or to a room of choice?
We can assess room-of-choice and upstairs work for suitable products and access. Provide the floor, number of steps, narrow points, turns, lift dimensions and capacity, parking and carrying distance. The space required to assemble and turn the item matters as well as the doorway width. Photographs are useful alongside measurements.
What should be ready before the team arrives?
Make sure the products, instructions, authorised site contact and agreed components are available. Clear the route and working area, reserve the lift or loading bay where needed, and confirm parking, access permissions and the final product position. Tell us about changes before the visit rather than leave the team to discover that the space is not ready.
What happens if parts are missing or the installation cannot be completed?
The team should report the issue to the person managing the job so the next step can be agreed. Do not ask them to improvise a substitute fixing or complete an unsuitable installation. Specify who can authorise changes and whether storage, return transport or a second visit may be needed. Any extra work and cost must be agreed.
Will you remove packaging or take away an old product?
Packaging removal can be considered as part of the agreed service. State the amount, material and intended destination. An old product is a separate collection or disposal requirement, so provide its condition, dimensions and destination too. Removal and waste arrangements must be confirmed before booking; they are not automatic additions to installation.
Can you manage several stores, offices or sites?
Yes, multi-site delivery and agreed installation programmes can be planned. Send quantities by site, addresses, access details, dates, installation instructions and the required completion record. We can discuss storage, consolidation, phased dispatch and returns alongside the on-site work. Each location still needs its own access and readiness information.
What coverage, tracking and insurance are available?
Synergix supports transport across the UK and Europe. Installation team coverage and appointment availability are confirmed for the location and work. Live tracking and proof of delivery support the transport; agree photographs, checklists or other installation records separately. Declare the product and value so applicable transport cover and the scope of any on-site cover can be confirmed.
Can you arrange urgent installation or collect missing parts quickly?
Send the product, ready time, postcode and deadline. Our 60-minute UK-wide courier collection proposition can help with suitable urgent parts, subject to availability and the confirmed collection window. An installation appointment or two-person team has its own availability check. Fast transport of a component does not guarantee that installation can start immediately.
How much does delivery and installation cost?
The quote depends on the goods, route, vehicle, team, access, assembly time and agreed scope. Site slots, parking, waiting, specialist tools, fixings, packaging removal, return transport and repeat visits can change the cost. Send instructions and access details with your product list so the price covers the work you actually need.
