What we provide

Office furniture installation

Specify the furniture, rooms and work required. We agree delivery, assembly and completion requirements together, so your facilities team knows what will be finished when the crew leaves.

Delivery and carry

From supplier to agreed room

Tell us where the furniture is collected, how it is packed and which floor receives it. We plan loading, unloading and internal carrying around the building, with the vehicle and handling equipment checked against the actual goods.

Product assembly

Build to the supplied instructions

Share product models, quantities, manuals and assembly times where available. Desks, chairs, tables and storage can involve different fixings and sequences. We confirm the skills, tools, components and work included before accepting the installation.

Final positioning

Follow your room plan

Label the order by floor, room or workstation and supply the agreed layout. Positioning against that plan avoids leaving a mixed furniture delivery in reception and asking your staff to finish the distribution. Access and clearances still need checking on site.

Extra tasks

Agree the finishing work

Request unpacking, packaging removal, furniture exchanges or return-to-depot collections when quoting. Wall anchoring, electrical work, data connections and other specialist tasks need an exact brief and explicit agreement rather than being assumed within furniture assembly.

The handling plan still matters.

Vehicle capacity does not establish what a person or team can lift. Tail-lift capacity, the whole platform load, ground conditions and the carrying route need checking. Body conversions and equipment can reduce useful space and payload.

Practical product and project detail

Office furniture we can help install.

Send the actual product list. The categories below help explain the installation details we need, rather than limiting what you can ask us to move or assemble.

  • Desks
  • Seating
  • Meeting spaces
  • Storage
  • Reception
Individual desks and workstations

Identify tops, frames, pedestals and screens belonging to each position. Give product references and any accessories so the team can distinguish a simple freestanding desk from a linked workstation with several components.

Task, visitor and meeting chairs

State whether seating arrives built or boxed, how many pieces need assembly and where each batch belongs. Any adjustment demonstration, spare-part handling or manufacturer-specific completion check should be agreed in the brief.

Tables and collaboration furniture

Long tops, sectional tables and heavy bases need a practical carrying and build plan. Tell us the assembled and packed dimensions, access pinch points and final orientation before committing to a delivery slot.

Cupboards, cabinets and lockers

Provide empty-unit weights, dimensions and the assembly instructions. If a product requires anchoring or particular stability arrangements, identify that requirement early so responsibility, site suitability and the necessary competence can be confirmed.

Reception and breakout furniture

Reception counters, sofas, benches and occasional tables can arrive in mixed formats. Show us which pieces need a build, which only need positioning and whether the reception must remain available to staff and visitors throughout the visit.

Before the first component arrives

A clear furniture schedule saves time on site.

The useful detail is not just how many desks you ordered. It is which components belong together, where they go and what must happen before staff use the room.

Products and parts

Check the build information

Send manuals, drawings and the product schedule in advance. Identify manufacturer training, unusual tools, missing components or separate deliveries. We can prepare the team for an agreed product range rather than treating every box as the same assembly job.

Layout and sequence

Install in a workable order

Agree room names, workstation numbers and priorities. A phased floor may need furniture moved through a completed area, while a live meeting room may only be available for a short period. Plan the order before loading the vehicle.

Site readiness

Make the work area available

Confirm flooring, decoration and other trades are ready for furniture. Reserve space for unpacking and assembly, arrange access to the rooms and name the person authorised to approve positioning or resolve a missing part.

Completion

Agree what gets checked

Define the handover: quantities, positioning, agreed assembly checks and any exceptions. A missing fitting, damaged component or inaccessible room should be recorded and discussed so the next action is clear instead of disappearing into a general delivery signature.

Product work has an agreed boundary.

Furniture installation does not automatically include building alterations, structural fixings, electrical commissioning or data services. Tell us the precise requirement so the right scope and people can be confirmed.

Building access and daily operations

Work around the office, floor by floor.

A loading bay booking and an available lift can make the difference between a workable installation and a vehicle waiting outside. Share the building rules with the furniture brief.

Arrival

Book the receiving arrangements

Give the loading entrance, vehicle restrictions, bay times and site contact. If permits, security registration or an induction are needed, arrange them before arrival and allow realistic time for unloading.

Internal route

Check lifts and carrying space

Confirm lift opening and internal dimensions, capacity, booking times and the route from bay to room. Include stairs, turnings, thresholds and long carries. A furniture top fitting inside the lift does not establish that its access route will work.

Occupied workplace

Separate the work from office activity

Tell us when staff, visitors or other contractors use the same space. Agree work areas, clear carrying routes and any evening or weekend phase, subject to crew and building availability.

Changes

Keep an authorised contact available

If the furniture, room or access differs from the brief, the team needs a decision. We discuss a revised plan before additional tasks, dismantling or another visit, with any time and cost implications made clear.

Why choose Synergix?

The people and capability behind the work.

A practical plan, suitably prepared people and an accountable team to follow the work through.

Customer-specific skills

People prepared for your products

We train or appoint suitably skilled drivers and mates for the work we accept. Share your office furniture instructions before booking so the team arrives prepared for the agreed tasks, rather than discovering a specialist requirement on site.

Established furniture work

Trusted with major retail deliveries

Synergix works with major UK furniture retailers. That experience matters when there are several parties involved: the supplier, recipient, site manager and delivery crew need the same practical instructions and a clear handover.

Transport protection

Fully insured transport

Tell us the goods and their value so applicable cover can be confirmed. Carrying, assembly and work on the premises need their own scope and cover checks; the transport description alone does not establish every on-site task.

Visibility

Live tracking and proof of delivery

See the transport progress and receive proof of delivery. Agree any additional room lists, condition photographs or completion checklist before the visit so a signed delivery is distinguished from acceptance of the whole project.

People behind the work

Three generations of transport experience

Our family transport background supports a practical approach to the whole job: the vehicle, loading sequence, people, access and customer promise. You can speak to a responsible team when a plan needs changing.

Operational support

Available 24/7/365

Our operations team supports urgent questions, planned deliveries and changes outside normal office hours. A staffed telephone is separate from crew availability: installation dates, overnight work and weekend appointments are confirmed for your booking.

How the job works

From the brief to the handover.

Agree the work before the appointment so the goods, people, time and site arrangements fit together.

  1. Send the furniture brief

Share the schedule, manuals, floor plan and addresses. Photographs help explain entrances and any awkward carrying routes.

  2. Agree the plan

We confirm the product tasks, suitable people, vehicle, equipment, dates, access arrangements and price.

  3. Deliver and install

The crew follows the agreed room allocation and build requirements, with a site contact available for decisions.

  4. Review the handover

Check the agreed completion points, record any exceptions and confirm the next step for parts, returns or a further visit.

Price and preparation

What we need to quote.

The price reflects the furniture schedule, transport, access, team, build time and installation sequence. A floor of assembled desks is different from the same number of boxed workstations. We quote against the agreed work and can discuss repeat supplier deliveries or a phased programme.

  • Furniture scheduleProduct names, model references, counts, packed dimensions and weights. Identify pieces needing assembly and provide manuals or manufacturer instructions.
  • Collection and destinationSupplier or depot details, readiness date, delivery address, floors and room allocation. Include separate component collections if the order is split.
  • Building accessLoading bay, height restrictions, parking, lift dimensions and capacity, stairs, carrying distance and required permits or inductions.
  • Installation scopeRoom plan, assembly tasks, positioning, fixing requirements and completion checks. Identify specialist work rather than leaving it within a general install description.
  • Timing and peoplePreferred dates, working hours, phase order, site contact and authorised handover person. Explain dependencies on fit-out work or office occupation.
  • Extras and returnsUnpacking, packaging quantities and destination, old furniture collection, spare parts and return instructions. Agree these tasks before the crew and vehicle are allocated.

Answers before you book

Office furniture installation questions.

Service scope, preparation and the details that affect the booking.

Do you deliver and assemble office furniture?

Yes, by arrangement. Send the products, quantities, assembly instructions and destination rooms. We confirm the delivery, carrying, build and positioning included in your quotation rather than assuming that every furniture delivery includes assembly.

Can you install desks, chairs and office storage?

These are suitable enquiries. The product design, build instructions, number of pieces and site access determine the work. Tell us about linked workstations, large table tops and stability or anchoring requirements before booking.

Can you work from our office floor plan?

Yes. Provide a current plan with recognisable floor and room references, workstation positions and priorities. An authorised contact should be available to answer positioning questions and approve changes on the day.

Do you connect powered desks, sockets or data equipment?

Do not assume electrical or data work is included. Identify the product and exact connection or testing requirement. We agree the task and suitably competent people before accepting it; a furniture installation booking alone does not include regulated trade work.

What if the manufacturer requires furniture to be anchored?

Send the instructions and details of the proposed location. Fixing method, permission, surfaces and competence need to be agreed before the visit. We do not promise to fix any unit into any wall or floor on arrival.

Can you install furniture outside office hours?

Ask for the dates and hours you need. Evening, weekend and phased arrangements can be considered around crew availability and building access. Operations support is available around the clock, while your installation slot is specifically agreed.

Can you take away the packaging?

Yes, when pre-arranged. State the packaging types, expected quantity and nominated destination. Reusable packaging, warranty cartons and any items to be retained should be identified; disposal or recycling requires a separately confirmed arrangement.

Can you remove or reposition existing furniture?

Ask us to include the precise furniture and movements. Tell us about dismantling, condition, new locations and depot returns. Removal of items for transport is different from a general office clearance or disposal instruction.

How many people will attend?

We plan the crew around the products, assembly work, access and handling method. Two people are not automatically sufficient for every top, cabinet or staircase; additional people or equipment may be required.

What happens if parts are missing or a room is not ready?

The team raises the issue with the nominated contact and records the agreed next step. Additional work, waiting, a changed installation sequence or another visit may affect the price and must be agreed.

Where do you provide office furniture installation?

We arrange mainland UK work. Island projects are considered individually around the destination, crossings, access and time needed. Give the exact addresses and programme so we can confirm the practical arrangement.

Is furniture delivery and installation insured?

Synergix provides fully insured transport, with the goods, value and applicable cover confirmed when booking. The carrying and installation scope also needs checking. Tell us about high-value products and the exact on-site work before relying on a general cover description.
