01 / Same-day & dedicated courier
Lichfield courier.
A direct delivery.
A Lichfield courier job might begin with a precision component at Britannia Enterprise Park, stock at Fradley Park or paperwork in the city centre. The load, release time and receiving deadline determine the direct journey.
Time-critical business consignments
Send the packaged dimensions, quantity, individual weights and exact ready time for parts, tools, samples, printed material or boxed stock. We select the smallest suitable vehicle around the goods and deadline.
Fragile finishes, upright-only goods and non-stackable cases need suitable packaging and restraint. Give the named receiver and any reference needed for handover.
Suitable pallets and bulky consignments
A dedicated courier can carry a suitable pallet or bulky item once actual fit, aperture, payload and handling have been checked. Include packaging overhang and the loaded pallet height.
For heavier freight, several pallets or specialist unloading, use the haulage guidance below. You can ask us to assess the job before choosing a van or lorry.
Ready time, vehicle and receiving deadline
A van collection in Lichfield may be possible in around 45 minutes, subject to the actual location, goods and suitable vehicle availability. Call for an estimate for your job. Rigids, artics and specialist equipment need a separate availability check.
An A38 connection does not remove warehouse release checks or city-centre access arrangements. Confirm those details alongside the deadline and vehicle availability.
Local collection and onward UK delivery
Provide the correct goods entrance for Fradley or Britannia units. For the pedestrianised city centre, obtain the receiving business's access code and current delivery instructions before collection.
The ready time, route and latest receiving time determine whether a same-day movement is achievable. European work also needs goods documents and customs responsibilities agreed. A collection estimate is not a delivery guarantee.
Updates and repeat collections
Our team remains your point of contact. Live tracking and electronic proof of delivery are available; agree the recipient, updates and any signature, photograph or reference requirement when booking.
Scheduled supplier runs, stock transfers and out-of-hours enquiries can also be discussed. Our phones are answered 24/7/365. Timing, vehicle allocation and site access are confirmed for the booking.
02 / General & dedicated haulage
Lichfield haulage.
Planned around the load.
For dedicated pallet transport, heavier engineering freight or a regular trailer movement, Synergix arranges the vehicle and driver around your load, handling and receiving requirements. Options include 7.5t, 18t and 26t rigids, full artics and suitable specialist configurations.
Dedicated pallet transport
Tell us the actual loaded footprint, height, weight and whether the freight can be stacked. A nominal pallet size does not include a crate, machine or packaging that projects beyond it.
We arrange a dedicated vehicle for your palletised goods, with collection, delivery and loading agreed for your job. Our team coordinates the movement and remains your point of contact. Tell us about fragile freight, specific handling or a timed delivery when booking.
Full loads, part loads and repeat work
A full vehicle can support larger consignments, stock transfers, production schedules and loads needing dedicated capacity. Agree the body, floor space, payload and loading order.
Part-load haulage can also be discussed where a suitable arrangement is available. Agree its collection window, delivery plan and handling before booking. For regular work, send your collection frequency, usual volumes, busy periods, site opening hours and return-load requirements.
Choose the body as well as the lorry size
Box and curtainsider
A box body uses its specified door opening and loading arrangement. A curtainsider can allow suitable forklift loading from the side. Check clear aperture, side access and restraint; curtains alone are not a universal load-securing system.
Flatbed, crane and mounted forklift
Long material, machinery or a delivery without a forklift may need a different body or handling method. A HIAB-type crane and MOFFETT-type forklift do different jobs. Supply load weights, lifting points or fork access, required reach and site photographs.
Temperature-controlled loads
Specify the product, required temperature, collection condition, packaging and monitoring or handover records. A refrigeration unit changes the vehicle specification; confirm its actual payload and space.
Articulated and specialist trailers
Curtainsider, box, refrigerated, flatbed and specialist trailer requirements are assessed individually. A long or heavy item needs its full dimensions, weight distribution and loading plan checked. The illustrated range does not establish suitability for every load.
Getting it off matters just as much
Confirm a forklift, loading dock, tail lift or other agreed equipment at both ends. For a tail-lift delivery, we need the individual item weight, footprint, all weight on the platform, permitted handling method, load centre and the surface beyond the lift.
When pallet-truck handling is needed for an individual loaded pallet weighing 800 kg or more, request an electric pump truck. This is Synergix's booking requirement. Lower weights can also need powered handling. A tail lift and pallet truck do not automatically solve gravel, slopes, steps or an unsuitable pallet.
Timed deliveries and urgent haulage
For a Fradley Park appointment, give the actual occupier, unit, receiving gate, reference, slot and unloading method. A park name alone is not a goods-in instruction.
Urgent rigid or artic capacity can be assessed by our team. It does not carry the van collection estimate. Vehicle positioning, loading time, traffic, site appointments and applicable driver-hours limits determine the plan. UK, Ireland and European freight may also need ferry and goods-document arrangements.
Local work. Different requirements.
Transport shaped
by Lichfield.
Different loads need different plans. These verified local industries and commercial areas help explain the booking details that matter. Named businesses provide local context, not claims of Synergix customers.
Distribution
Fradley warehouse movements
Fradley Park is an established distribution and manufacturing location near Lichfield. Urgent shortages, picked stock transfers and repeat commercial loads need the warehouse handover planned alongside the road journey.
Tell us which unit releases the goods, the reference and ready time. For pallets or a larger load, confirm the receiving appointment and whether loading uses a dock, forklift or vehicle-side access.
Precision manufacturing
Aerospace and defence components
Lichfield's manufacturing evidence includes AIM at Britannia Enterprise Park, whose own sector pages describe aerospace, defence and UAV components. Those are specific verified applications, rather than an assumption about every local engineering firm.
Suitable parts, fixtures and development hardware need protective packaging, clear identification and any agreed documentation. Restricted items or special security, contractual and handover conditions must be discussed before a booking is accepted.
Industrial support
Energy, tooling and automation
Local precision manufacturing also supports energy equipment, machine components and automation. A production fixture or replacement housing can require careful transport even when it occupies little floor space.
Explain the individual weight, centre of gravity and any lifting points or upright requirement. For repeating supplier journeys, share the typical load, frequency and return packaging so the right service can be assessed.
City businesses
Retail, offices and receiving access
The city centre presents a different task from Fradley's warehouse yards. Business stock, display materials and time-sensitive paperwork need a handover point that works with the pedestrian-zone arrangements.
Obtain the receiving business's current access instructions and contact name. Tell us about carrying distance, steps or any two-person handling needed beyond the vehicle, so that the booking covers the actual task.

Routes, loading
& site access.
The last part of the journey needs the same attention as the main road. Give the precise goods entrance, receiving instructions and vehicle restrictions before dispatch, so we can assess the complete approach and unloading area.
A38 and wider motorway connections
Fradley Park has access to the A38 and connections to the M6 Toll and wider Midlands motorway network. Lichfield movements may stay within Staffordshire or continue towards Birmingham, Derby and further UK destinations.
Give the collection readiness time and actual delivery deadline. The route must be assessed against the vehicle, traffic and receiving appointment rather than a property's advertised travel time.
Fradley gates, references and slots
Provide the occupier and unit, not only Fradley Park or a shared postcode. Name the goods gate, bay, booking reference and receiving contact, and confirm what happens if the appointment changes.
State the loading method at both ends and whether the receiver expects rear or side access. Vehicle-height, turning and yard restrictions need to be known before a larger vehicle is selected.
Lichfield pedestrian-zone deliveries
Lichfield District Council directs delivery drivers to obtain an access code from the receiving business for the pedestrianised zone. Arrange that code and the handover contact before dispatch.
Entry arrangements do not provide unrestricted parking or override other site instructions. Check the council's current guidance and the business's delivery point, especially where the consignment needs additional handling.
Engineering units and rural approaches
For Britannia Enterprise Park or surrounding village premises, give the exact workshop or goods entrance. A reception address may not identify the loading point for tooling, pallets or machinery.
Confirm gate dimensions, turning space and a firm unloading area when access is constrained. Photographs help with unusual approaches, and a smaller vehicle still needs adequate payload and usable load space.
Confirm the last few metres
Describe the gate, turning area, ground, slope, kerb and final placement. Photos help with an awkward entrance. A tail lift lowers freight; it does not move a pallet across gravel or up steps.

What affects the price?
Vehicle positioning, loaded distance, vehicle/body type and time at collection and delivery all contribute. Waiting, additional stops, handling equipment, extra labour, route charges and a return journey can alter the quote.
For ferry or European work, route timing and goods-document requirements also matter. We quote the actual movement; there is no single Lichfield mileage price that fits every load.
What happens if something changes?
Tell us promptly about an extra pallet, heavier item, delayed release, changed entrance or missed slot. We can reassess the vehicle, deadline and cost before an unsuitable arrangement causes a problem.
An enquiry is the start of the conversation. Vehicle allocation, timing, handling and price are confirmed for the booking.

Lichfield transport
questions answered.
Courier, timing and delivery
How quickly can you collect in Lichfield?
A van collection may be possible in around 45 minutes, subject to the address, goods and a suitable available vehicle. Call with the ready time and deadline for an estimate. Lorries, refrigerated vehicles and specialist equipment need their own availability and positioning check.
Can you deliver from Lichfield elsewhere in the UK today?
It may be possible, depending on when the goods are ready, loading time, vehicle position, road conditions and the receiver’s latest acceptance time. Give us both addresses and the actual deadline. We assess the complete movement before confirming a plan.
Will my dedicated courier delivery stay on the same vehicle?
A dedicated courier movement normally stays on the same vehicle between the agreed collection and delivery points, without a parcel-network sorting hub. Tell us about additional stops, a return collection or any unusual route requirement so the arrangement is clear before booking.
Can I call at night, at weekends or on bank holidays?
Yes. Our phones are answered 24/7/365. Call to discuss the movement and confirm the suitable vehicle, handling and receiving arrangements. Someone must be available to release the goods and accept them at the proposed times.
How will I know the goods have been delivered?
Live tracking and electronic proof of delivery are available. Agree the updates and receiving evidence you need when booking, including any named-recipient, signature, photograph or delivery reference requirement.
What happens if collection is delayed or the delivery slot changes?
Contact our team promptly. A later release, changed receiving slot or additional waiting can affect the vehicle, driver schedule, arrival plan and cost. Give us the new ready time and receiver’s instructions so we can reassess the movement.
Haulage, vehicles and handling
Do I need a courier or a haulage service?
Start with what needs moving and the deadline. An urgent component, parcel or suitable pallet may need a dedicated courier. Heavier freight, larger volumes, specialist bodies or repeat work may need a haulage arrangement. Send the load details and we will help you choose.
Can you arrange dedicated pallet transport in Lichfield?
Yes, we assess dedicated pallet movements with the vehicle, collection and delivery agreed for the job. Send the loaded footprint, height, individual weights, quantity, stackability and unloading arrangements. Synergix does not offer pallet-network services.
Can you arrange full loads, part loads and regular haulage?
We can discuss full loads, regular work and supported part-load arrangements. The collection window, delivery plan, body, loading method and availability must suit the job. A part-load enquiry is assessed individually; it is not a pallet-network product.
How do I choose the right van or lorry?
Measure each item as it will travel, including packaging, the pallet and any overhang. Give the quantity, individual and total weights, stackability and any orientation limit. We check the actual load space, aperture, working payload, equipment and site access. Vehicle gross weight is not cargo payload.
Can I use LoadCheck before asking for a quote?
Yes. Enter packaged dimensions, item weights and quantities for an initial vehicle-size estimate. Send the result with your enquiry. LoadCheck does not confirm actual vehicle fit, restraint, loading equipment, payload, availability or a booking.
What if the receiving site has no forklift?
Tell us before booking. A suitable tail lift, mounted forklift, crane or agreed handling crew may be an option, but they solve different problems. We need the item weights, dimensions, fork access or lifting points, surface and final placement. Equipment does not come with every vehicle.
When must I request an electric pump truck?
Under Synergix’s booking rule, request an electric pump truck when pallet-truck handling is required for an individual loaded pallet weighing 800 kg or more. Lighter pallets can need powered handling too. Check the lift and platform capacity, footprint, all weight on the platform, ground and handling method. The threshold is not automatic proof of safe handling.
Do goods need packaging for a dedicated journey?
Yes, they need packaging suitable for the goods and the planned handling. A dedicated vehicle does not remove the risk of movement during loading and travel. Protect fragile surfaces, sharp edges and delicate equipment; tell us about upright-only, non-stackable or special restraint requirements.
Can you provide refrigerated transport or event refrigeration?
We can assess both, with the product, temperature and handover requirements agreed. Refrigerated road transport moves goods under an agreed temperature arrangement. Stationary event refrigeration provides storage at a venue. Explain which you need, the duration, access and any power requirement.
Lichfield access and local handovers
What do you need for a Fradley Park collection?
Send the occupier, unit, correct goods gate, collection reference, readiness time and delivery deadline. For a pallet or heavier load, include packed dimensions, individual weights and loading equipment at both ends.
Can a courier enter Lichfield's pedestrianised centre?
The council directs delivery drivers to obtain the access code from the business receiving the goods. Give us that code, the agreed entrance and a contact before dispatch, and check the current council and site instructions for the delivery.
Can you carry precision parts from a Lichfield manufacturer?
We can assess suitable parts, tooling and equipment. Explain the packaging, dimensions, weight and deadline, and identify any inspection records, handling limits or controlled-site conditions. Restricted or specialist consignments require agreement before booking.
Can I book a same-day journey from Lichfield to Birmingham or Derby?
Give us the ready time, exact collection and delivery details and the receiver's deadline. We will check the route, suitable vehicle and availability before confirming whether the requested timing is workable.
Can regular Lichfield haulage include returned packaging?
Tell us the frequency, typical goods and any pallets, crates or packaging to bring back. We can assess the transport, loading and stop sequence together and confirm the agreed arrangement.
Price, booking and ongoing work
What affects the price of a Lichfield courier or haulage job?
Vehicle positioning, route distance, body and vehicle type, waiting, unloading, handling equipment, additional stops and the deadline affect the quote. Give accurate load and site details. Tell us about changes before dispatch so we can explain any effect on the arrangement or price.
What information do you need to book?
Send both full addresses and goods entrances, contact details, ready time and latest delivery time, item quantities, packaged dimensions, individual and total weights, stackability and loading equipment at both ends. Include access restrictions, references, photographs and any special handling or temperature requirement.
Can you discuss regular deliveries, warehousing or two-person work?
Yes. Give your usual route, frequency, volumes, receiving windows and seasonal peaks. Warehousing, cross-docking, retail distribution and agreed two-person delivery can be considered as part of a wider arrangement. Storage location, handling scope, availability and commercial terms are agreed separately.
Does sending an enquiry confirm my booking?
No. An enquiry starts the discussion. The vehicle, collection and delivery plan, handling, price and booking acceptance must be confirmed. A generated enquiry reference or LoadCheck result does not establish vehicle allocation or successful email delivery.
