01 / Same-day & dedicated courier
Falmouth courier.
A direct delivery.
If a missing component is holding up production, an event is waiting for its equipment or a customer needs stock today, call with the actual deadline. We arrange dedicated collection and delivery between the agreed points, without a parcel-network sorting hub.
Urgent business consignments
Documents, engineering parts, samples, tools, print, boxed stock and IT equipment can all need a dedicated courier. The smallest suitable vehicle depends on the packaged goods, not the label “parcel”. Send the quantity, dimensions and weights.
A server, delicate prototype or finished component needs packaging that protects it during loading and travel. Tell us if it must stay upright, cannot be stacked or needs a named recipient.
Pallets and bulky items
Courier work can include a suitable pallet or bulky consignment. We check the vehicle aperture, usable space, payload and unloading method. A pallet does not automatically fit a van just because it fits on the floor.
For heavier loads, several pallets or specialised unloading, see the haulage guidance. You can enquire without choosing the lorry first.
How quickly can we collect?
A Falmouth van collection may be possible in around 45 minutes, subject to the address, goods and a suitable available vehicle. Call for an estimate for your actual job. A rigid, artic, refrigerated body or specialist handling arrangement needs its own availability check.
Collection speed is only part of the plan. Tell us when the goods will be released, how long loading will take and the receiver’s latest acceptance time. A dockside engineering collection needs its gate and release contact confirmed, while a central shop or event needs a lawful loading point and receiving slot agreed.
Falmouth collections and onward UK delivery
A Falmouth collection may involve a dockside workshop, a Bickland business, a central shop or one of the university campuses. Give the company, unit or department, actual goods gate, release contact and ready time. A harbour name, visitor address or broad campus label is not a complete receiving instruction.
For packaged marine parts, tooling, IT equipment, documents or stock, send dimensions, individual weights, protective packaging and the receiving deadline. Explain value, fragility and any security or handling requirements before acceptance. We assess local transfers and onward UK journeys around the load and authorised handover.
Updates, proof of delivery and repeat work
Our team remains your contact for the movement. Live tracking and electronic proof of delivery are available; agree any named-recipient, signature, photograph or reference requirements when booking.
We also assess scheduled supplier collections, branch transfers, multi-stop work and repeat courier routes. Phones are answered 24/7/365. The vehicle, crew and access at each end are confirmed for the booking.
02 / General & dedicated haulage
Falmouth haulage.
Planned around the load.
For dedicated pallet transport, heavier engineering freight or a regular trailer movement, Synergix arranges the vehicle and driver around your load, handling and receiving requirements. Options include 7.5t, 18t and 26t rigids, full artics and suitable specialist configurations.
Dedicated pallet transport
Tell us the actual loaded footprint, height, weight and whether the freight can be stacked. A nominal pallet size does not include a crate, machine or packaging that projects beyond it.
We arrange a dedicated vehicle for your palletised goods, with collection, delivery and loading agreed for your job. Our team coordinates the movement and remains your point of contact. Tell us about fragile freight, specific handling or a timed delivery when booking.
Full loads, part loads and repeat work
A full vehicle can support larger consignments, stock transfers, production schedules and loads needing dedicated capacity. Agree the body, floor space, payload and loading order.
Part-load haulage can also be discussed where a suitable arrangement is available. Agree its collection window, delivery plan and handling before booking. For regular work, send your collection frequency, usual volumes, busy periods, site opening hours and return-load requirements.
Choose the body as well as the lorry size
Box and curtainsider
A box body uses its specified door opening and loading arrangement. A curtainsider can allow suitable forklift loading from the side. Check clear aperture, side access and restraint; curtains alone are not a universal load-securing system.
Flatbed, crane and mounted forklift
Long material, machinery or a delivery without a forklift may need a different body or handling method. A HIAB-type crane and MOFFETT-type forklift do different jobs. Supply load weights, lifting points or fork access, required reach and site photographs.
Temperature-controlled loads
Specify the product, required temperature, collection condition, packaging and monitoring or handover records. A refrigeration unit changes the vehicle specification; confirm its actual payload and space.
Articulated and specialist trailers
Curtainsider, box, refrigerated, flatbed and specialist trailer requirements are assessed individually. A long or heavy item needs its full dimensions, weight distribution and loading plan checked. The illustrated range does not establish suitability for every load.
Getting it off matters just as much
Confirm a forklift, loading dock, tail lift or other agreed equipment at both ends. For a tail-lift delivery, we need the individual item weight, footprint, all weight on the platform, permitted handling method, load centre and the surface beyond the lift.
When pallet-truck handling is needed for an individual loaded pallet weighing 800 kg or more, request an electric pump truck. This is Synergix's booking requirement. Lower weights can also need powered handling. A tail lift and pallet truck do not automatically solve gravel, slopes, steps or an unsuitable pallet.
Timed deliveries and urgent haulage
For marine equipment, palletised stock or regular distribution loads around Falmouth and Penryn, confirm the body type, loaded dimensions, individual weights and loading equipment at both ends. A shipyard, a Bickland unit and a waterfront venue need different approaches, unloading arrangements and appointments.
Urgent rigid or artic capacity can be assessed by our team. It does not carry the van collection estimate. Vehicle positioning, loading time, traffic, site appointments and applicable driver-hours limits determine the plan. UK, Ireland and European freight may also need ferry and goods-document arrangements.
Local work. Different requirements.
Transport shaped
by Falmouth.
Falmouth has active ship repair, fabrication and yacht-building facilities, alongside port services, business parks and waterfront retail or events. Nearby Penryn brings further business and university receiving requirements.
Ship repair, fabrication and defence support
Parts for the working docks
Balaena Falmouth, formerly presented under A&P, describes ship repair, refit and engineering at The Docks, including fabrication, pipework and electrical workshops. Its current Falmouth information includes support for MoD vessels. A parts collection needs the actual workshop, goods gate and release contact.
Send packaged dimensions, individual weights, handling points and protective packaging. Confirm the project or release reference, appointment, loading equipment and authorised receiver. Explain security or controlled-goods conditions before acceptance. A general port address does not establish permission to enter a particular shipyard or deliver to a vessel.
Yacht build, refit and manufacturing
Pendennis equipment and workshop loads
Pendennis operates yacht build and refit facilities at its Falmouth shipyard. Its current site information describes a Digital Manufacturing Centre with CNC cutting, profiling and machining. Components, fittings, tooling and workshop equipment each need their own packaging and handling plan.
Name the actual receiving department and goods entrance, release reference and slot. Give dimensions, weights, securing points and support requirements. Confirm loading equipment at both ends and any final movement. Whole-vessel, abnormal or unusually long loads require their own transport and route assessment.
Business units and regular distribution
Bickland and surrounding commercial sites
Bickland Water Road, its business centres and Falmouth Business Park contain distinct receiving points. Current council project information also describes active-travel works along this corridor. A business-park name does not identify the correct unit, gate or approach for a load.
Send individual pallet or crate weights, dimensions, overhang and stacking limits. Confirm forklift, dock or other unloading equipment, frequency, receiving slots and returns. We can discuss general haulage, retail distribution, warehousing and cross-docking around the requirement. Check current works and site instructions for the journey.
Waterfront, creative and university receiving
Stock and event equipment handovers
Discovery Quay, also known as Events Square, combines shops, hospitality and the National Maritime Museum Cornwall with open-air events. Falmouth University has separate Falmouth and Penryn campuses. A visitor entrance, public square or university name needs a precise supplier receiving instruction.
Give the tenant, organiser or department, goods entrance, setup or receiving slot and removal plan. Describe doors, steps, lifts, carrying distance and final position. Agree extra crew and two-person delivery separately. Stationary event refrigeration requires its own placement, power, operating and collection arrangements.
Local sector context: Balaena Falmouth shipyard information and Pendennis Falmouth facilities and Falmouth Harbour commercial services and Discovery Quay information and University campus addresses. Named organisations provide local context, not claims of Synergix customers.

Routes, loading
& site access.
Confirm the particular goods gate, lawful loading point and receiving slot. Shipyard security, current Bickland works, central streets and separate university campuses affect different parts of a Falmouth-area journey.
Dockside gates and marine handovers
Name the shipyard, operator or agent, department, project reference and authorised contact. Confirm the actual landside goods gate, release status and appointment. A shipyard office, marina visitor entrance or harbour address does not identify every goods handover.
Give dimensions, weights, handling points and the loading method. Explain security, customs or controlled-goods conditions before acceptance. Confirm whether the agreed delivery ends at a landside receiving point. Vessel transfer, lifting or installation must have its own arrangement.
Harbour authority and particular facilities
Falmouth Harbour describes its statutory area separately from Falmouth Docks. Give the exact operator and facility, rather than treating the harbour, docks, marina and surrounding estuary sites as one receiving address. Confirm the current road gate with the receiver.
Harbour navigation notices and vessel berthing information do not grant road access or a loading appointment. Check the actual site instructions, vehicle approach, ground and unloading equipment. Proposals for future pontoons or development are not evidence of an available receiving facility.
Market Street, Church Street and waterfront loading
For central shops, hospitality or a waterfront event, confirm the current lawful loading point, supplier entrance and receiving window. Give the tenant or organiser and the final handling requirements. Pedestrian access, public parking and ticketing directions do not establish van or truck permission.
Use Cornwall's current traffic-order resources, signs and receiver instructions. The older Healthy Streets trial page does not establish today's rules by itself. Check the particular street length, date and any temporary event arrangements before planning the handover.
Bickland Water Road works and units
Give the company, unit and actual goods entrance for Bickland-area business sites. Confirm entrance height and width, turning space and the appropriate approach for the chosen vehicle. A park name does not supply the final gate or unload point.
The council's Bickland Water Road project page describes staged works beginning in October 2026, temporary traffic management and later surfacing closures. Check current updates and site instructions for the collection date. Do not assume every stage or closure is operating simultaneously.
Falmouth and Penryn campus receiving
Confirm whether the goods are for Woodlane in Falmouth or the Penryn Campus at Treliever Road. Give the building, department, authorised receiver and supplier entrance. Open-day visitor directions and student arrival instructions serve different purposes from commercial goods receiving.
Send the load list, receiving slot and unloading requirements. Describe doors, lifts, steps, carrying distance and final positioning. Agree extra crew and return collections separately. Equipment for performances, studios or exhibitions needs the organiser's setup and removal arrangements confirmed.
Loaded pallets and powered handling
Send each loaded pallet's footprint, overhang and weight. Confirm forklift or dock availability, or request the tail lift and pallet-truck arrangement needed. Describe surface, slope and final movement from the vehicle to the receiver.
If pallet-truck handling is required for an individual loaded pallet weighing 800 kg or more, request an electric pump truck under Synergix's booking rule. Lighter pallets can need powered handling too. This does not replace platform-capacity, footprint, load-centre, ground and access checks.
Confirm the last few metres
Describe the ground, slope, kerb, steps, loading bay and final placement. Photos help with a narrow yard or awkward entrance. A tail lift lowers goods; it does not move a pallet over gravel, up steps or through a doorway.
Falmouth and surrounding areas
Where is your
collection?
We assess collections and deliveries across Falmouth and the surrounding area, with onward UK transport. These groups help describe the job. They are coverage areas, not Synergix branch locations or fixed service boundaries.
Central and waterfront Falmouth
Market Street, Church Street, Arwenack Street, Discovery Quay and surrounding shops or venues.
Give the tenant or organiser, lawful loading point, goods entrance and receiving window.
Working docks and marine businesses
Falmouth Docks, shipyard workshops and other harbour-area business handovers.
Name the operator, department, actual gate, release reference and appointment.
Western commercial sites
Bickland Water Road, Bickland-area centres, Falmouth Business Park and neighbouring premises.
Confirm the particular unit, vehicle approach, loading equipment and current works.
Penryn and campus enquiries
Penryn, Treliever Road, university buildings and surrounding commercial or residential addresses.
Confirm the correct campus or site, goods entrance, department and handling requirements.
Surrounding Cornwall addresses
Budock Water, Mabe Burnthouse, Mylor, Flushing, Mawnan Smith and surrounding villages.
These are coverage enquiries, not branches or a fixed boundary. Send full postcodes, approach constraints and actual goods instructions.

What affects the price?
Vehicle positioning, loaded distance, vehicle/body type and time at collection and delivery all contribute. Waiting, additional stops, handling equipment, extra labour, route charges and a return journey can alter the quote.
For ferry or European work, route timing and goods-document requirements also matter. We quote the actual movement; there is no single Falmouth mileage price that fits every load.
What happens if something changes?
Tell us promptly about an extra pallet, heavier item, delayed release, changed entrance or missed slot. We can reassess the vehicle, deadline and cost before an unsuitable arrangement causes a problem.
An enquiry is the start of the conversation. Vehicle allocation, timing, handling and price are confirmed for the booking.

Falmouth and the surrounding area
The geographic map shows Falmouth and its surrounding Cornwall area. Working docks, central waterfront premises, Bickland businesses and nearby Penryn campuses have different entrances and receiving arrangements. Give the actual company, unit, operator or department and current goods instructions. Send both full addresses and the correct goods entrances when enquiring.

Before you book
Falmouth transport
questions answered.
Courier, timing and delivery
How quickly can you collect in Falmouth?
A van collection may be possible in around 45 minutes, subject to the exact address, goods and a suitable available vehicle. Call with the ready time and delivery deadline for an estimate. Lorries, refrigerated bodies and specialist equipment need their own positioning and availability check.
Can you deliver from Falmouth to another part of the UK on the same day?
It may be possible, depending on when the goods are released, loading time, vehicle position, distance, road conditions and the receiver’s latest acceptance time. Give us both addresses and the actual deadline. We assess the complete job before agreeing the delivery plan.
What can a dedicated courier carry?
Courier work can include documents, parts, samples, print, IT equipment, technical cases, boxed stock and suitable bulky or palletised goods. Give the packaged dimensions, quantities and individual weights so we can assess the vehicle, loading and receiving arrangements.
Will a dedicated courier load stay on the same vehicle?
It normally stays on the same vehicle between the agreed collection and delivery points, without a parcel-network sorting hub. Tell us about extra stops, returns or unusual route requirements so the arrangement is clear before booking.
Can I call at night or at the weekend?
Yes. Our phones are answered 24/7/365. Call to discuss the load and confirm a suitable vehicle and plan. Someone must be available to release the goods and accept them at the agreed times.
How will I receive delivery updates and proof of delivery?
Live tracking and electronic proof of delivery are available. Agree the updates and evidence you need when booking, including a named recipient, signature, photograph or delivery reference.
Haulage, vehicles and unloading
Do I need a courier or a haulage arrangement?
Start with the goods and deadline. An urgent part, technical case or suitable pallet may need a courier. Heavier freight, larger volumes, specialist bodies or repeat loads may need haulage. Send the load and site details and we will help you choose.
Can you arrange dedicated pallet transport in Falmouth?
Yes, we assess dedicated pallet movements with collection, delivery and a suitable vehicle agreed for the job. Send the loaded footprint, height, individual weights, quantity, stackability and loading at both ends. Synergix does not offer pallet-network services.
Can you discuss full loads, part loads and regular deliveries?
Yes. Full loads, regular haulage and supported part-load arrangements can be discussed. Agree the body, loading, collection window and delivery plan. Part-load availability is assessed individually; it is not a pallet-network product.
How do I choose a van or lorry, and can LoadCheck help?
Measure each item as it will travel, including packaging, the pallet and overhang. Enter packaged dimensions, weights and quantities into LoadCheck for an initial size estimate. Our team confirms actual fit, usable payload, apertures, restraint, equipment, access and availability.
What if the delivery site has no forklift?
Tell us before booking. A suitable tail lift, mounted forklift, crane or agreed crew may be an option, depending on the goods and site. Send item weights, dimensions, fork access or lifting points, ground conditions and final placement. These handling methods solve different problems and must be agreed.
When must I request an electric pump truck?
Under Synergix’s booking rule, request an electric pump truck when pallet-truck handling is needed for an individual loaded pallet weighing 800 kg or more. Lighter pallets may also need powered handling. Platform load, footprint, ground and the actual equipment still need checking.
Can you assess a crane or mounted-forklift delivery?
Yes. Send the precise goods, individual weights, dimensions, lifting points or fork access, required placement and photographs of the unloading area. Crane reach and support conditions differ from forklift access. Suitability, equipment and availability are confirmed for the job.
Can you arrange refrigerated transport or event refrigeration?
We can assess both, with the product, required temperature and handover agreed. Refrigerated transport moves goods under an agreed temperature arrangement. Stationary event refrigeration provides storage at a venue. Tell us which you need, the duration, access and any power requirement.
Falmouth access and local handovers
What do you need for a Falmouth shipyard parts delivery?
Give the shipyard, department, project or release reference, actual goods gate, authorised receiver and appointment. Send packaged dimensions, individual weights and loading equipment. Explain security or controlled-goods conditions before acceptance. Confirm whether the agreed handover is landside; vessel transfer or installation needs its own arrangement.
Can you assess equipment from Pendennis's manufacturing facilities?
Yes. Describe the components, tooling or equipment and send dimensions, weights, packaging, support and securing requirements. Confirm the release contact, actual department, goods entrance, slot and loading equipment at both ends. Whole-vessel, abnormal or unusually long loads require separate assessment.
Do current harbour development proposals identify a new delivery facility?
A proposed pontoon or development plan does not establish an available receiving point. Confirm the operator, facility, actual road gate and current appointment with the receiver. Harbour navigation permission and landside goods access are separate matters. Send the load and handling details before booking.
How should Bickland Water Road works be allowed for?
Check the council's current project updates and the receiver's instructions for the journey date. Confirm the actual business unit, goods gate and appropriate vehicle approach. Staged works, temporary traffic management and later closures can affect different sections at different times. Keep receiving and release contacts available.
Is a Falmouth University address enough for an equipment delivery?
Confirm the particular campus, building, department and goods entrance. Falmouth Campus at Woodlane and Penryn Campus at Treliever Road are separate destinations. Give the authorised receiver, slot, load list and unloading requirements. Explain lifts, doors, carrying distance, final positioning and any extra crew or removal collection.
Price, booking and changes
What affects the price of a Falmouth courier or haulage job?
Vehicle positioning, route distance, body type, deadline, waiting, loading, extra stops, handling equipment and additional labour affect the quote. Send accurate goods and site details. We price the actual arrangement rather than applying one mileage rate to every load.
How do I book, and what happens if the job changes?
Request a quote or call with both addresses, packaged dimensions, individual and total weights, quantities, ready time, deadline, contacts and handling at both ends. We confirm the vehicle, plan and price for the booking. Tell us promptly about added goods, delayed release or a changed slot so we can reassess.
Can you discuss warehousing, retail distribution or two-person delivery?
Yes. Send the usual route, frequency, volumes, receiving windows and seasonal peaks. Warehousing, cross-docking, retail distribution and agreed two-person handling can be considered within a wider arrangement. Storage location, handling scope, availability and commercial terms are agreed separately.
