Your load.
The right vehicle.

Browse the van, rigid, articulated and specialist options, then open a vehicle guide for dimensions, body types and loading advice. You can ask for a particular vehicle or let us work from your load details.

Vehicle illustrations show example bodies. We confirm the actual vehicle, usable space, payload and equipment for your booking. Specialist configurations are subject to suitability and availability.

01 / Same-day & dedicated courier

Omagh courier.
A direct delivery.

If a missing component is holding up production, an event is waiting for its equipment or a customer needs stock today, call with the actual deadline. We arrange dedicated collection and delivery between the agreed points, without a parcel-network sorting hub.

Urgent business consignments

Documents, engineering parts, samples, tools, print, boxed stock and IT equipment can all need a dedicated courier. The smallest suitable vehicle depends on the packaged goods, not the label “parcel”. Send the quantity, dimensions and weights.

A server, delicate prototype or finished component needs packaging that protects it during loading and travel. Tell us if it must stay upright, cannot be stacked or needs a named recipient.

Pallets and bulky items

Courier work can include a suitable pallet or bulky consignment. We check the vehicle aperture, usable space, payload and unloading method. A pallet does not automatically fit a van just because it fits on the floor.

For heavier loads, several pallets or specialised unloading, see the haulage guidance. You can enquire without choosing the lorry first.

How quickly can we collect?

Call with the exact collection address, ready time and delivery deadline. We check local vehicle availability and the complete journey before agreeing a collection estimate. Lorries, refrigerated bodies and specialist equipment need their own positioning check. A Great Britain movement also depends on the booked crossing and goods requirements.

Collection speed is only part of the plan. Tell us when the goods will be released, how long loading will take and the receiver’s latest acceptance time. A workshop part needed before a machine can be returned to service needs its actual ready time, packing status and receiving contact. A GB-bound consignment also needs a suitable crossing, check-in time and onward delivery plan.

Omagh collections and onward UK delivery

Omagh's engineering suppliers, Gortrush units and business premises can need a direct collection when an ordinary delivery schedule will not meet the deadline. A boxed machine component and a fabricated assembly need different vehicle and protection checks. Send the packaged measurements, individual weights and a person who can release the goods.

For Gortrush, Drumquin Road, Great Northern Road, Mountfield or nearby rural premises, identify the actual business, unit and goods gate. Tell us whether the onward movement stays within Northern Ireland, crosses to Great Britain or finishes in the Republic of Ireland. The full route and receiving window determine what can be agreed.

Updates, proof of delivery and repeat work

Our team remains your contact for the movement. Live tracking and electronic proof of delivery are available; agree any named-recipient, signature, photograph or reference requirements when booking.

We also assess scheduled supplier collections, branch transfers, multi-stop work and repeat courier routes. Phones are answered 24/7/365. The vehicle, crew and access at each end are confirmed for the booking.

02 / General & dedicated haulage

Omagh haulage.
Planned around the load.

For dedicated pallet transport, heavier engineering freight or a regular trailer movement, Synergix arranges the vehicle and driver around your load, handling and receiving requirements. Options include 7.5t, 18t and 26t rigids, full artics and suitable specialist configurations.

Dedicated pallet transport

Tell us the actual loaded footprint, height, weight and whether the freight can be stacked. A nominal pallet size does not include a crate, machine or packaging that projects beyond it.

We arrange a dedicated vehicle for your palletised goods, with collection, delivery and loading agreed for your job. Our team coordinates the movement and remains your point of contact. Tell us about fragile freight, specific handling or a timed delivery when booking.

Full loads, part loads and repeat work

A full vehicle can support larger consignments, stock transfers, production schedules and loads needing dedicated capacity. Agree the body, floor space, payload and loading order.

Part-load haulage can also be discussed where a suitable arrangement is available. Agree its collection window, delivery plan and handling before booking. For regular work, send your collection frequency, usual volumes, busy periods, site opening hours and return-load requirements.

Choose the body as well as the lorry size

Box and curtainsider

A box body uses its specified door opening and loading arrangement. A curtainsider can allow suitable forklift loading from the side. Check clear aperture, side access and restraint; curtains alone are not a universal load-securing system.

Flatbed, crane and mounted forklift

Long material, machinery or a delivery without a forklift may need a different body or handling method. A HIAB-type crane and MOFFETT-type forklift do different jobs. Supply load weights, lifting points or fork access, required reach and site photographs.

Temperature-controlled loads

Specify the product, required temperature, collection condition, packaging and monitoring or handover records. A refrigeration unit changes the vehicle specification; confirm its actual payload and space.

Articulated and specialist trailers

Curtainsider, box, refrigerated, flatbed and specialist trailer requirements are assessed individually. A long or heavy item needs its full dimensions, weight distribution and loading plan checked. The illustrated range does not establish suitability for every load.

Getting it off matters just as much

Confirm a forklift, loading dock, tail lift or other agreed equipment at both ends. For a tail-lift delivery, we need the individual item weight, footprint, all weight on the platform, permitted handling method, load centre and the surface beyond the lift.

When pallet-truck handling is needed for an individual loaded pallet weighing 800 kg or more, request an electric pump truck. This is Synergix's booking requirement. Lower weights can also need powered handling. A tail lift and pallet truck do not automatically solve gravel, slopes, steps or an unsuitable pallet.

Read our tail-lift and pallet-truck guidance.

Timed deliveries and urgent haulage

For fabricated components, quarry-equipment supplies or a regular trailer collection, send the loaded dimensions, individual weights and handling plan. Give the Gortrush unit or Drumquin Road goods entrance, release reference and receiving slot. A machine part's weight, fork pockets or lifting points can decide the body and equipment before pallet count becomes useful.

Urgent rigid or artic capacity can be assessed by our team. It does not carry the van collection estimate. Vehicle positioning, loading time, traffic, site appointments and applicable driver-hours limits determine the plan. UK, Ireland and European freight may also need ferry and goods-document arrangements.

Local work. Different requirements.

Transport shaped
by Omagh.

Omagh's materials-processing and engineering activity sits alongside business units, town trading and rural suppliers. These examples explain how a small production part, a long fabrication and a commercial stock delivery need different arrangements.

Drumquin Road and engineering suppliers

Quarry and materials-processing equipment

Finlay lists its head office on Drumquin Road in Omagh, and Terex's company profile identifies aggregates manufacturing in the town. This gives local context for components, fabricated parts, tools and equipment moving through the engineering supply chain.

A replacement part needs its packaged size, weight and release time. A larger assembly needs its complete dimensions, centre-of-gravity information where relevant, fork access or lifting points, and restraint requirements. Confirm whether the goods need weather protection, side loading or a different body. These are transport examples, not claims of Synergix work for a named manufacturer.

Mountfield and surrounding workshops

Machined parts and fabricated assemblies

P&G Engineering, based outside Omagh at Aghaboy Road, Mountfield, describes CNC machining and products ranging from small metal parts to larger fabricated sub-assemblies. A finished machined surface may need protective packaging even when the item is robust enough to lift mechanically.

Give the packaged dimensions, individual weights, protection and orientation requirements. For repeat supplier work, send batch frequency, readiness and returnable-packaging details. General precision machining does not by itself establish a defence role, and the actual goods and any controls must be declared before acceptance.

Gortrush and Great Northern Road

Business units, stock and technical equipment

The council identifies Gortrush Industrial Park on Great Northern Road. Omagh Enterprise also operates premises on that road and a separate Digi-Hub on Old Mountfield Road. An estate name or shared reception is not enough to identify the correct goods handover.

For stock, IT equipment, samples or business supplies, give the receiving organisation, unit, entrance and available unloading facilities. Explain delivery floors, steps and any need for agreed two-person handling. A visitor entrance, meeting room or office address is not automatically suitable for freight.

Wider County Tyrone

Agricultural supplies and site deliveries

The wider Omagh area includes agricultural suppliers and rural businesses. Drumnakilly Supplies, near Beragh, describes farm supplies alongside general haulage of machinery, steel and timber, illustrating the different types of goods businesses may need to move.

For fencing bundles, equipment, packaged supplies or a site delivery, send the full goods description, lengths, weights and unloading plan. Identify chemicals, liquids or other regulated products before acceptance. Provide the goods entrance and ground information so the booked vehicle can reach and leave the site safely.

Local sector context: Finlay's Omagh location and P&G Engineering's manufacturing information and Omagh Enterprise locations. Named organisations provide local context, not claims of Synergix customers.

The last mile matters

Routes, loading
& site access.

The A5 corridor and A32 connections help frame an Omagh journey, but the goods gate, operating space and receiving contact determine the last part of the movement. Supply both addresses and the approach the booked vehicle can use.

A5, Great Northern Road and A32 connections

The A5 runs through the Omagh corridor, including Great Northern Road, while the A32 links Omagh and Enniskillen. Allow for traffic, collection loading and the receiver's actual goods-in window rather than treating road mileage as a delivery estimate.

Check current TrafficWatchNI information and site instructions before travel. Verify height, weight, width and turning limits for the complete route. An improvement scheme or a previously advertised diversion is not an instruction for today's booked vehicle.

Industrial units and engineering handovers

Give the actual Gortrush unit, Drumquin Road site or workshop address and goods entrance. Confirm release paperwork, any booked bay, vehicle limits and a contact who can authorise loading or receipt.

State whether loading uses a forklift, dock, tail lift or agreed lifting equipment. A long fabricated item may need side loading and restraint space; a heavy component may need a checked lifting plan. Do not assume the driver can unload machinery with ordinary manual assistance.

Mountfield, Beragh and rural approaches

For premises outside the main town, send entrance photographs, a local contact and suitable approach instructions. Identify narrow lanes, gates, bridges, gradients, overhead obstructions and turning constraints before the vehicle is allocated.

Confirm firm ground and the unloading position, including the route beyond a tail lift or forklift. A postcode can cover more than one entrance, and a driveway used by a van may not suit a rigid or artic. Agree the handover position when the final approach cannot take the required vehicle.

Ferries, direction of travel and goods information

For a Great Britain movement, the plan includes loading, positioning to the port, the booked freight crossing, check-in and onward driving. Send the full destination, goods description and receiving slot. Do not convert a local collection estimate into a promised cross-channel arrival.

GB to Northern Ireland simplified internal-market processes depend on authorisation and eligible goods. Use current GOV.UK guidance and agree information and declaration responsibilities with the trader or appointed agent. A Republic of Ireland destination needs a separate route and goods assessment. Transport coverage does not imply customs clearance.

Confirm the last few metres

Describe the ground, slope, kerb, steps, loading bay and final placement. Photos help with a narrow yard or awkward entrance. A tail lift lowers goods; it does not move a pallet over gravel, up steps or through a doorway.

Omagh and surrounding areas

Where is your
collection?

We assess collections and deliveries across Omagh and the surrounding area, with onward UK transport. These groups help describe the job. They are coverage areas, not Synergix branch locations or fixed service boundaries.

Omagh and local commercial premises

Town-centre businesses, Gortrush, Great Northern Road, Drumquin Road and Killyclogher.

Give the business or unit, correct goods entrance, ready time and receiving contact. These are coverage areas, not Synergix depots.

Surrounding Tyrone collection areas

Mountfield, Drumquin, Beragh, Sixmilecross and nearby workshops, agricultural and rural sites.

The goods, vehicle approach, handling equipment and availability are checked for each address. Send photographs where access is narrow or awkward.

Onward and repeat movements

Other Northern Ireland destinations, plus Great Britain and Republic of Ireland movements assessed against the actual journey.

Send the direction of travel, final destination, goods details and receiving window. Ferries, documentation responsibilities, stops and any return load are agreed for the booking.

A useful enquiry. A clearer quote.

Tell us the job.
We will help plan it.

  1. The two addressesCollection and delivery postcodes, company/unit names, goods entrances and a contact at each end.
  2. What needs movingGoods description, item or pallet count, packaged dimensions, total and individual weights, stackability and photographs where useful.
  3. When it is readyDate, ready time, latest arrival, goods-in closing time and any booked slot or reference. Identify fixed deadlines.
  4. How it will be handledForklift, dock, tail lift, pallet truck, crane or crew at both ends. Include surface, aperture and vehicle-access limits.
  5. Any special requirementFragile finish, temperature, regulated goods, multiple stops, returnable packaging, returns or agreed final placement.
  6. Updates and repeat workYour preferred contact, delivery evidence and, for regular transport, frequency, expected volumes and seasonal peaks.

What affects the price?

Vehicle positioning, loaded distance, vehicle/body type and time at collection and delivery all contribute. Waiting, additional stops, handling equipment, extra labour, route charges and a return journey can alter the quote.

For ferry or European work, route timing and goods-document requirements also matter. We quote the actual movement; there is no single Omagh mileage price that fits every load.

What happens if something changes?

Tell us promptly about an extra pallet, heavier item, delayed release, changed entrance or missed slot. We can reassess the vehicle, deadline and cost before an unsuitable arrangement causes a problem.

An enquiry is the start of the conversation. Vehicle allocation, timing, handling and price are confirmed for the booking.

Before you book

Omagh transport
questions answered.

Courier, timing and delivery

How quickly can you collect in Omagh?

Call with the exact collection address, goods, ready time and deadline. We check local vehicle availability and the full movement before agreeing a collection estimate. Great Britain journeys also depend on the booked crossing, check-in and goods requirements. Lorries and specialist equipment need their own positioning assessment.

Can you deliver from Omagh to another part of the UK on the same day?

We assess this for the complete journey. Local Northern Ireland work differs from Great Britain delivery, which also needs a suitable booked crossing, check-in time, goods information and onward driving. Give both addresses, release time and the receiver’s latest acceptance time before a delivery plan is agreed.

What can a dedicated courier carry?

Courier work can include documents, parts, samples, print, IT equipment, technical cases, boxed stock and suitable bulky or palletised goods. Give the packaged dimensions, quantities and individual weights so we can assess the vehicle, loading and receiving arrangements.

Will a dedicated courier load stay on the same vehicle?

It normally stays on the same vehicle between the agreed collection and delivery points, without a parcel-network sorting hub. Tell us about extra stops, returns or unusual route requirements so the arrangement is clear before booking.

Can I call at night or at the weekend?

Yes. Our phones are answered 24/7/365. Call to discuss the load and confirm a suitable vehicle and plan. Someone must be available to release the goods and accept them at the agreed times.

How will I receive delivery updates and proof of delivery?

Live tracking and electronic proof of delivery are available. Agree the updates and evidence you need when booking, including a named recipient, signature, photograph or delivery reference.

Haulage, vehicles and unloading

Do I need a courier or a haulage arrangement?

Start with the goods and deadline. An urgent part, technical case or suitable pallet may need a courier. Heavier freight, larger volumes, specialist bodies or repeat loads may need haulage. Send the load and site details and we will help you choose.

Can you arrange dedicated pallet transport in Omagh?

Yes, we assess dedicated pallet movements with collection, delivery and a suitable vehicle agreed for the job. Send the loaded footprint, height, individual weights, quantity, stackability and loading at both ends. Synergix does not offer pallet-network services.

Can you discuss full loads, part loads and regular deliveries?

Yes. Full loads, regular haulage and supported part-load arrangements can be discussed. Agree the body, loading, collection window and delivery plan. Part-load availability is assessed individually; it is not a pallet-network product.

How do I choose a van or lorry, and can LoadCheck help?

Measure each item as it will travel, including packaging, the pallet and overhang. Enter packaged dimensions, weights and quantities into LoadCheck for an initial size estimate. Our team confirms actual fit, usable payload, apertures, restraint, equipment, access and availability.

What if the delivery site has no forklift?

Tell us before booking. A suitable tail lift, mounted forklift, crane or agreed crew may be an option, depending on the goods and site. Send item weights, dimensions, fork access or lifting points, ground conditions and final placement. These handling methods solve different problems and must be agreed.

When must I request an electric pump truck?

Under Synergix’s booking rule, request an electric pump truck when pallet-truck handling is needed for an individual loaded pallet weighing 800 kg or more. Lighter pallets may also need powered handling. Platform load, footprint, ground and the actual equipment still need checking.

Can you assess a crane or mounted-forklift delivery?

Yes. Send the precise goods, individual weights, dimensions, lifting points or fork access, required placement and photographs of the unloading area. Crane reach and support conditions differ from forklift access. Suitability, equipment and availability are confirmed for the job.

Can you arrange refrigerated transport or event refrigeration?

We can assess both, with the product, required temperature and handover agreed. Refrigerated transport moves goods under an agreed temperature arrangement. Stationary event refrigeration provides storage at a venue. Tell us which you need, the duration, access and any power requirement.

Omagh access and local handovers

Can you collect a replacement part for an Omagh engineering business?

We can assess the job when you provide the part's packaged dimensions and weight, release time and receiving deadline. Include a named contact and any protective packaging or upright-only requirement. If testing, packing or release approval is still outstanding, tell us before the collection is agreed.

What is needed to collect from Gortrush?

Give the company, unit, goods entrance, ready time and release contact. Confirm the loaded dimensions and weights, available forklift or dock, and any site booking reference. A shared estate postcode does not identify the correct bay or prove a load is ready.

Can the driver unload a heavy machine component?

Only the agreed handling arrangement should be relied on. Supply the individual weight, dimensions, lifting or fork-access details and equipment at both ends. A tail lift needs its own platform and handling checks, and does not replace a crane or forklift where the load needs one. Ordinary driver assistance is not proof that machinery can be unloaded.

Can you arrange a return collection after a supplier delivery?

Yes, we can assess a return leg or exchange movement. Send the outbound and return goods, dimensions, weights, readiness and receiving windows. Explain any wait for inspection or repair, and identify empty packaging or replaced parts that must return. The complete plan, vehicle time and price are agreed before booking.

Can you reach a workshop outside Omagh?

Send its full address, correct entrance, photographs and a contact. Include narrow lanes, bridge or vehicle limits, ground and turning space, and the unloading equipment. We assess the load and access together. A larger vehicle cannot automatically follow the route used by the business's van.

Price, booking and changes

What affects the price of an Omagh courier or haulage job?

Vehicle positioning, route distance, body type, deadline, waiting, loading, extra stops, handling equipment and additional labour affect the quote. Send accurate goods and site details. We price the actual arrangement rather than applying one mileage rate to every load.

How do I book, and what happens if the job changes?

Request a quote or call with both addresses, packaged dimensions, individual and total weights, quantities, ready time, deadline, contacts and handling at both ends. We confirm the vehicle, plan and price for the booking. Tell us promptly about added goods, delayed release or a changed slot so we can reassess.

Can you discuss warehousing, retail distribution or two-person delivery?

Yes. Send the usual route, frequency, volumes, receiving windows and seasonal peaks. Warehousing, cross-docking, retail distribution and agreed two-person handling can be considered within a wider arrangement. Storage location, handling scope, availability and commercial terms are agreed separately.
