Your load.
The right vehicle.

Browse the van, rigid, articulated and specialist options, then open a vehicle guide for dimensions, body types and loading advice. You can ask for a particular vehicle or let us work from your load details.

Vehicle illustrations show example bodies. We confirm the actual vehicle, usable space, payload and equipment for your booking. Specialist configurations are subject to suitability and availability.

01 / Same-day & dedicated courier

Cookstown courier.
A direct delivery.

If a missing component is holding up production, an event is waiting for its equipment or a customer needs stock today, call with the actual deadline. We arrange dedicated collection and delivery between the agreed points, without a parcel-network sorting hub.

Urgent business consignments

Documents, engineering parts, samples, tools, print, boxed stock and IT equipment can all need a dedicated courier. The smallest suitable vehicle depends on the packaged goods, not the label “parcel”. Send the quantity, dimensions and weights.

A server, delicate prototype or finished component needs packaging that protects it during loading and travel. Tell us if it must stay upright, cannot be stacked or needs a named recipient.

Pallets and bulky items

Courier work can include a suitable pallet or bulky consignment. We check the vehicle aperture, usable space, payload and unloading method. A pallet does not automatically fit a van just because it fits on the floor.

For heavier loads, several pallets or specialised unloading, see the haulage guidance. You can enquire without choosing the lorry first.

How quickly can we collect?

Call with the exact collection address, ready time and delivery deadline. We check local vehicle availability and the complete journey before agreeing a collection estimate. Lorries, refrigerated bodies and specialist equipment need their own positioning check. A Great Britain movement also depends on the booked crossing and goods requirements.

Collection speed is only part of the plan. Tell us when the goods will be released, how long loading will take and the receiver’s latest acceptance time. A replacement component needed for a workshop repair needs its actual release time and packaged weight. A food-sector consignment also needs its contents, temperature and handover requirements agreed. Neither is ready simply because a vehicle has been requested.

Cookstown collections and onward UK delivery

Cookstown's engineering businesses, trade suppliers and food-sector premises can need a direct collection when a routine delivery schedule will not meet the deadline. A small spare part, a delicate electrical component and a packed food sample each need their own protection and acceptance checks. Give the actual goods and readiness rather than simply requesting a van.

For Kilcronagh, Sandholes Road, Ballyreagh or Loughry, send the business or department, goods entrance and release contact. Say whether the delivery stays within Northern Ireland, goes to Great Britain or finishes in the Republic of Ireland. The receiving window and full route determine the plan we can agree.

Updates, proof of delivery and repeat work

Our team remains your contact for the movement. Live tracking and electronic proof of delivery are available; agree any named-recipient, signature, photograph or reference requirements when booking.

We also assess scheduled supplier collections, branch transfers, multi-stop work and repeat courier routes. Phones are answered 24/7/365. The vehicle, crew and access at each end are confirmed for the booking.

02 / General & dedicated haulage

Cookstown haulage.
Planned around the load.

For dedicated pallet transport, heavier engineering freight or a regular trailer movement, Synergix arranges the vehicle and driver around your load, handling and receiving requirements. Options include 7.5t, 18t and 26t rigids, full artics and suitable specialist configurations.

Dedicated pallet transport

Tell us the actual loaded footprint, height, weight and whether the freight can be stacked. A nominal pallet size does not include a crate, machine or packaging that projects beyond it.

We arrange a dedicated vehicle for your palletised goods, with collection, delivery and loading agreed for your job. Our team coordinates the movement and remains your point of contact. Tell us about fragile freight, specific handling or a timed delivery when booking.

Full loads, part loads and repeat work

A full vehicle can support larger consignments, stock transfers, production schedules and loads needing dedicated capacity. Agree the body, floor space, payload and loading order.

Part-load haulage can also be discussed where a suitable arrangement is available. Agree its collection window, delivery plan and handling before booking. For regular work, send your collection frequency, usual volumes, busy periods, site opening hours and return-load requirements.

Choose the body as well as the lorry size

Box and curtainsider

A box body uses its specified door opening and loading arrangement. A curtainsider can allow suitable forklift loading from the side. Check clear aperture, side access and restraint; curtains alone are not a universal load-securing system.

Flatbed, crane and mounted forklift

Long material, machinery or a delivery without a forklift may need a different body or handling method. A HIAB-type crane and MOFFETT-type forklift do different jobs. Supply load weights, lifting points or fork access, required reach and site photographs.

Temperature-controlled loads

Specify the product, required temperature, collection condition, packaging and monitoring or handover records. A refrigeration unit changes the vehicle specification; confirm its actual payload and space.

Articulated and specialist trailers

Curtainsider, box, refrigerated, flatbed and specialist trailer requirements are assessed individually. A long or heavy item needs its full dimensions, weight distribution and loading plan checked. The illustrated range does not establish suitability for every load.

Getting it off matters just as much

Confirm a forklift, loading dock, tail lift or other agreed equipment at both ends. For a tail-lift delivery, we need the individual item weight, footprint, all weight on the platform, permitted handling method, load centre and the surface beyond the lift.

When pallet-truck handling is needed for an individual loaded pallet weighing 800 kg or more, request an electric pump truck. This is Synergix's booking requirement. Lower weights can also need powered handling. A tail lift and pallet truck do not automatically solve gravel, slopes, steps or an unsuitable pallet.

Read our tail-lift and pallet-truck guidance.

Timed deliveries and urgent haulage

For fabricated equipment, packed electrical systems or building products, supply the loaded dimensions, individual weights and handling plan. Give the actual Kilcronagh or Ballyreagh unit, goods gate and receiving slot. Tall cabinets, long bundles and irregular assemblies need their aperture, support, restraint and unloading arrangements checked before a vehicle is allocated.

Urgent rigid or artic capacity can be assessed by our team. It does not carry the van collection estimate. Vehicle positioning, loading time, traffic, site appointments and applicable driver-hours limits determine the plan. UK, Ireland and European freight may also need ferry and goods-document arrangements.

Local work. Different requirements.

Transport shaped
by Cookstown.

Cookstown combines equipment engineering and electrical systems with building-product suppliers and food-business support. These examples show why the goods and handover matter as much as the collection postcode.

Kilcronagh and equipment suppliers

Materials-processing equipment and parts

The Mineral Products Association Northern Ireland lists CDE in Cookstown and describes washing equipment for mineral processing and recycling. This provides local context for replacement components, fabricated assemblies and equipment suppliers, without assuming that every item is a standard pallet load.

Send the packed size and individual weight, fork access or lifting points, and any surface protection. A long assembly may need side loading, a support frame and a restraint plan. A complete machine requires a separate assessment of weight distribution, loading and site access. These are transport examples, not claims of work for CDE.

Kilcronagh Business Park

Electrical systems and protected equipment

TES lists its headquarters at Kilcronagh Business Park and describes power-distribution equipment alongside water and wastewater systems. Components, controls and finished cabinets can need different vehicles and packing even when they travel between the same two premises.

Identify whether the consignment is a small boxed part, an upright cabinet or a larger assembly. Give the packaged height, centre-of-gravity information where relevant, lifting method and any moisture or vibration protection. Agree how the receiver will take the load off and position it. A delivery vehicle is not an installation crew.

Ballyreagh and construction supply chains

Building products and site requirements

Keystone Group lists its Cookstown location at Ballyreagh Industrial Estate and describes building-product businesses across steel, timber and related divisions. A supplier collection may involve long bundles, finished components or mixed goods with different support and protection needs.

Provide the full loaded lengths, bundle weights, packaging and stackability, together with loading equipment and delivery sequence. For a building site, give the gate, site contact, safe unloading position and any booked slot. Confirm crane or forklift arrangements rather than assuming materials can be carried from the vehicle by hand.

Loughry and food businesses

Food development, packaging and samples

CAFRE identifies Loughry Campus as its food-technology centre, with support covering food manufacture, innovation and packaging. This creates practical context for commercial samples, trial packaging and equipment moving between food businesses and agreed receiving departments.

Declare the contents, packaging, temperature range and time limits before acceptance. State any separation, monitoring or receiving requirements and provide the responsible contact. A sample is not automatically suitable for an ordinary ambient van, and a campus visitor address is not a confirmed laboratory or goods-in handover.

Local sector context: CDE's MPA NI member information and TES locations and Keystone Group's Cookstown location and CAFRE food-business support. Named organisations provide local context, not claims of Synergix customers.

The last mile matters

Routes, loading
& site access.

The A29 runs through Cookstown and the A505 approaches from the west. Plan around the actual roads, goods entrance and loading window. A proposed road scheme is not an available bypass for a booked movement.

A29 through the town and A505 approaches

DfI identifies the A29 as the north-south road through Cookstown, linking towards Moneymore and Dungannon. Its scheme information also identifies the A505 Drum Road and Sandholes Link Road connections. Allow for town traffic and the receiver's goods-in window rather than relying on mileage alone.

The A29 bypass is described by DfI as a proposed scheme. Do not plan a delivery as though it were already open. Check current TrafficWatchNI information, applicable vehicle restrictions and site instructions for the actual journey.

Kilcronagh, Sandholes Road and Ballyreagh

Give the business, unit, correct goods gate and a named contact. A general estate address or head-office reception may be different from the loading bay. State any reporting procedure, release reference, appointment and vehicle limit before collection is agreed.

Confirm whether access is from the rear, side or loading dock, and whether a forklift or other agreed equipment is available. Include the space needed to open curtains, operate equipment and secure the load. A vehicle fitting through the gate does not establish that it can turn or unload there.

Rural premises and site approaches

For Orritor, Pomeroy, Stewartstown, Coagh or surrounding rural addresses, give the actual entrance and suitable approach. Photographs help identify narrow gates, lanes, bridges, overhead obstructions and turning limitations before the vehicle is selected.

Describe the ground and final placement, including any distance beyond the unloading point. Confirm that the surface suits the vehicle and handling equipment. When the required lorry cannot reach the goods position, agree another handover arrangement before dispatch rather than relying on a van's usual route.

Crossings and the direction of travel

Great Britain work needs a complete plan for loading, positioning to the port, the booked freight sailing, check-in and onward driving. Give the destination and receiving deadline. A local Northern Ireland collection estimate is not a cross-channel delivery promise.

For GB to Northern Ireland movements, simplified internal-market processes depend on authorisation and eligible goods. Refer to current GOV.UK guidance and agree goods-information and declaration responsibilities with the trader or appointed agent. Republic of Ireland journeys need their own route and goods assessment. Transport coverage does not imply customs clearance.

Confirm the last few metres

Describe the ground, slope, kerb, steps, loading bay and final placement. Photos help with a narrow yard or awkward entrance. A tail lift lowers goods; it does not move a pallet over gravel, up steps or through a doorway.

Cookstown and surrounding areas

Where is your
collection?

We assess collections and deliveries across Cookstown and the surrounding area, with onward UK transport. These groups help describe the job. They are coverage areas, not Synergix branch locations or fixed service boundaries.

Cookstown commercial collections

Town businesses, Kilcronagh, Sandholes Road, Ballyreagh, Derryloran and Loughry premises.

Supply the business or department, unit, goods entrance and ready time. These are collection areas, not Synergix depots.

Surrounding Mid Ulster addresses

Moneymore, Orritor, Pomeroy, Stewartstown, Coagh and nearby workshops, farms and sites.

Vehicle availability, the actual approach and unloading arrangements are assessed for each address. Send photographs where access is awkward.

Onward and regular movements

Other Northern Ireland destinations, plus Great Britain and Republic of Ireland journeys assessed against the full movement.

Give the direction of travel, final destination, goods and receiving window. Ferries, documentation responsibilities, repeat frequency and returns are agreed for the booking.

A useful enquiry. A clearer quote.

Tell us the job.
We will help plan it.

  1. The two addressesCollection and delivery postcodes, company/unit names, goods entrances and a contact at each end.
  2. What needs movingGoods description, item or pallet count, packaged dimensions, total and individual weights, stackability and photographs where useful.
  3. When it is readyDate, ready time, latest arrival, goods-in closing time and any booked slot or reference. Identify fixed deadlines.
  4. How it will be handledForklift, dock, tail lift, pallet truck, crane or crew at both ends. Include surface, aperture and vehicle-access limits.
  5. Any special requirementFragile finish, temperature, regulated goods, multiple stops, returnable packaging, returns or agreed final placement.
  6. Updates and repeat workYour preferred contact, delivery evidence and, for regular transport, frequency, expected volumes and seasonal peaks.

What affects the price?

Vehicle positioning, loaded distance, vehicle/body type and time at collection and delivery all contribute. Waiting, additional stops, handling equipment, extra labour, route charges and a return journey can alter the quote.

For ferry or European work, route timing and goods-document requirements also matter. We quote the actual movement; there is no single Cookstown mileage price that fits every load.

What happens if something changes?

Tell us promptly about an extra pallet, heavier item, delayed release, changed entrance or missed slot. We can reassess the vehicle, deadline and cost before an unsuitable arrangement causes a problem.

An enquiry is the start of the conversation. Vehicle allocation, timing, handling and price are confirmed for the booking.

Before you book

Cookstown transport
questions answered.

Courier, timing and delivery

How quickly can you collect in Cookstown?

Call with the exact collection address, goods, ready time and deadline. We check local vehicle availability and the full movement before agreeing a collection estimate. Great Britain journeys also depend on the booked crossing, check-in and goods requirements. Lorries and specialist equipment need their own positioning assessment.

Can you deliver from Cookstown to another part of the UK on the same day?

We assess this for the complete journey. Local Northern Ireland work differs from Great Britain delivery, which also needs a suitable booked crossing, check-in time, goods information and onward driving. Give both addresses, release time and the receiver’s latest acceptance time before a delivery plan is agreed.

What can a dedicated courier carry?

Courier work can include documents, parts, samples, print, IT equipment, technical cases, boxed stock and suitable bulky or palletised goods. Give the packaged dimensions, quantities and individual weights so we can assess the vehicle, loading and receiving arrangements.

Will a dedicated courier load stay on the same vehicle?

It normally stays on the same vehicle between the agreed collection and delivery points, without a parcel-network sorting hub. Tell us about extra stops, returns or unusual route requirements so the arrangement is clear before booking.

Can I call at night or at the weekend?

Yes. Our phones are answered 24/7/365. Call to discuss the load and confirm a suitable vehicle and plan. Someone must be available to release the goods and accept them at the agreed times.

How will I receive delivery updates and proof of delivery?

Live tracking and electronic proof of delivery are available. Agree the updates and evidence you need when booking, including a named recipient, signature, photograph or delivery reference.

Haulage, vehicles and unloading

Do I need a courier or a haulage arrangement?

Start with the goods and deadline. An urgent part, technical case or suitable pallet may need a courier. Heavier freight, larger volumes, specialist bodies or repeat loads may need haulage. Send the load and site details and we will help you choose.

Can you arrange dedicated pallet transport in Cookstown?

Yes, we assess dedicated pallet movements with collection, delivery and a suitable vehicle agreed for the job. Send the loaded footprint, height, individual weights, quantity, stackability and loading at both ends. Synergix does not offer pallet-network services.

Can you discuss full loads, part loads and regular deliveries?

Yes. Full loads, regular haulage and supported part-load arrangements can be discussed. Agree the body, loading, collection window and delivery plan. Part-load availability is assessed individually; it is not a pallet-network product.

How do I choose a van or lorry, and can LoadCheck help?

Measure each item as it will travel, including packaging, the pallet and overhang. Enter packaged dimensions, weights and quantities into LoadCheck for an initial size estimate. Our team confirms actual fit, usable payload, apertures, restraint, equipment, access and availability.

What if the delivery site has no forklift?

Tell us before booking. A suitable tail lift, mounted forklift, crane or agreed crew may be an option, depending on the goods and site. Send item weights, dimensions, fork access or lifting points, ground conditions and final placement. These handling methods solve different problems and must be agreed.

When must I request an electric pump truck?

Under Synergix’s booking rule, request an electric pump truck when pallet-truck handling is needed for an individual loaded pallet weighing 800 kg or more. Lighter pallets may also need powered handling. Platform load, footprint, ground and the actual equipment still need checking.

Can you assess a crane or mounted-forklift delivery?

Yes. Send the precise goods, individual weights, dimensions, lifting points or fork access, required placement and photographs of the unloading area. Crane reach and support conditions differ from forklift access. Suitability, equipment and availability are confirmed for the job.

Can you arrange refrigerated transport or event refrigeration?

We can assess both, with the product, required temperature and handover agreed. Refrigerated transport moves goods under an agreed temperature arrangement. Stationary event refrigeration provides storage at a venue. Tell us which you need, the duration, access and any power requirement.

Cookstown access and local handovers

What details do you need for a Kilcronagh collection?

Give the business, unit, goods gate, ready time and a contact who can release the goods. Include any site reference or booked bay, the packaged dimensions and weights, and available loading equipment. A head-office address does not confirm the correct collection entrance or that a load is ready.

Can you move an electrical cabinet from Cookstown?

We can assess it from the packed dimensions, individual weight, required orientation, lifting or fork-access details and protection needs. Confirm how it will be supported and restrained, and how the receiver will unload it. Include photographs for an awkward or tall item. The agreed transport arrangement does not include electrical installation.

Can you collect food samples or packaging for Loughry?

Send the exact contents, packaging, temperature range, deadline and receiving department before acceptance. Tell us about separation, monitoring and any special handling. We assess a suitable arrangement for the actual goods. A general campus address is not enough to identify the agreed handover, and an ordinary ambient vehicle may be unsuitable.

Should a Cookstown delivery plan assume the new bypass is open?

No. Use the roads available for the journey and check current traffic and site instructions. DfI describes the A29 bypass as a proposed scheme. Give the correct entrance and receiving window so the movement can account for the existing town route, loading and any current restriction.

Can I change a site address after requesting a collection?

Contact us promptly with the new address, goods gate, receiving window and unloading details. We reassess the vehicle, route, timing and price before confirming the change. A rural or construction-site entrance may need different equipment or access arrangements even when it is close to the original destination.

Price, booking and changes

What affects the price of a Cookstown courier or haulage job?

Vehicle positioning, route distance, body type, deadline, waiting, loading, extra stops, handling equipment and additional labour affect the quote. Send accurate goods and site details. We price the actual arrangement rather than applying one mileage rate to every load.

How do I book, and what happens if the job changes?

Request a quote or call with both addresses, packaged dimensions, individual and total weights, quantities, ready time, deadline, contacts and handling at both ends. We confirm the vehicle, plan and price for the booking. Tell us promptly about added goods, delayed release or a changed slot so we can reassess.

Can you discuss warehousing, retail distribution or two-person delivery?

Yes. Send the usual route, frequency, volumes, receiving windows and seasonal peaks. Warehousing, cross-docking, retail distribution and agreed two-person handling can be considered within a wider arrangement. Storage location, handling scope, availability and commercial terms are agreed separately.

in Cookstown?

Send the two postcodes, load details and deadline. Our team will help you choose the service, vehicle and loading arrangements.
