01 / Same-day & dedicated courier
Carrickfergus courier.
A direct delivery.
If a missing component is holding up production, an event is waiting for its equipment or a customer needs stock today, call with the actual deadline. We arrange dedicated collection and delivery between the agreed points, without a parcel-network sorting hub.
Urgent business consignments
Documents, engineering parts, samples, tools, print, boxed stock and IT equipment can all need a dedicated courier. The smallest suitable vehicle depends on the packaged goods, not the label “parcel”. Send the quantity, dimensions and weights.
A server, delicate prototype or finished component needs packaging that protects it during loading and travel. Tell us if it must stay upright, cannot be stacked or needs a named recipient.
Pallets and bulky items
Courier work can include a suitable pallet or bulky consignment. We check the vehicle aperture, usable space, payload and unloading method. A pallet does not automatically fit a van just because it fits on the floor.
For heavier loads, several pallets or specialised unloading, see the haulage guidance. You can enquire without choosing the lorry first.
How quickly can we collect?
Call with the two postcodes and the actual deadline. We check Northern Ireland vehicle availability for your job. A Great Britain crossing needs a separate sailing and onward-delivery plan; a local collection estimate is not a mainland arrival promise.
Collection speed is only part of the plan. Tell us when the goods will be released, how long loading will take and the receiver’s latest acceptance time. A ready spare from Trooperslane may travel directly to a Northern Ireland workshop. A protected assembly for Great Britain also needs freight acceptance, sailing space and a workable onward journey after arrival.
Carrickfergus collections and onward UK delivery
For a Trooperslane unit, Kilroot occupier or town business, give the named company and correct goods entrance. Include the release contact, packaged dimensions, individual weights and the receiver’s latest acceptance time. Explain fragile finishes, orientation or protective cases before a vehicle is selected.
A local collection and a ferry-connected Great Britain delivery have different stages. We assess goods readiness, the available vehicle, port acceptance and onward receiving hours for the actual job. Tell us about inspection release, booked handovers and delays that could change the useful delivery time.
Updates, proof of delivery and repeat work
Our team remains your contact for the movement. Live tracking and electronic proof of delivery are available; agree any named-recipient, signature, photograph or reference requirements when booking.
We also assess scheduled supplier collections, branch transfers, multi-stop work and repeat courier routes. Phones are answered 24/7/365. The vehicle, crew and access at each end are confirmed for the booking.
02 / General & dedicated haulage
Carrickfergus haulage.
Planned around the load.
For dedicated pallet transport, heavier engineering freight or a regular trailer movement, Synergix arranges the vehicle and driver around your load, handling and receiving requirements. Options include 7.5t, 18t and 26t rigids, full artics and suitable specialist configurations.
Dedicated pallet transport
Tell us the actual loaded footprint, height, weight and whether the freight can be stacked. A nominal pallet size does not include a crate, machine or packaging that projects beyond it.
We arrange a dedicated vehicle for your palletised goods, with collection, delivery and loading agreed for your job. Our team coordinates the movement and remains your point of contact. Tell us about fragile freight, specific handling or a timed delivery when booking.
Full loads, part loads and repeat work
A full vehicle can support larger consignments, stock transfers, production schedules and loads needing dedicated capacity. Agree the body, floor space, payload and loading order.
Part-load haulage can also be discussed where a suitable arrangement is available. Agree its collection window, delivery plan and handling before booking. For regular work, send your collection frequency, usual volumes, busy periods, site opening hours and return-load requirements.
Choose the body as well as the lorry size
Box and curtainsider
A box body uses its specified door opening and loading arrangement. A curtainsider can allow suitable forklift loading from the side. Check clear aperture, side access and restraint; curtains alone are not a universal load-securing system.
Flatbed, crane and mounted forklift
Long material, machinery or a delivery without a forklift may need a different body or handling method. A HIAB-type crane and MOFFETT-type forklift do different jobs. Supply load weights, lifting points or fork access, required reach and site photographs.
Temperature-controlled loads
Specify the product, required temperature, collection condition, packaging and monitoring or handover records. A refrigeration unit changes the vehicle specification; confirm its actual payload and space.
Articulated and specialist trailers
Curtainsider, box, refrigerated, flatbed and specialist trailer requirements are assessed individually. A long or heavy item needs its full dimensions, weight distribution and loading plan checked. The illustrated range does not establish suitability for every load.
Getting it off matters just as much
Confirm a forklift, loading dock, tail lift or other agreed equipment at both ends. For a tail-lift delivery, we need the individual item weight, footprint, all weight on the platform, permitted handling method, load centre and the surface beyond the lift.
When pallet-truck handling is needed for an individual loaded pallet weighing 800 kg or more, request an electric pump truck. This is Synergix's booking requirement. Lower weights can also need powered handling. A tail lift and pallet truck do not automatically solve gravel, slopes, steps or an unsuitable pallet.
Timed deliveries and urgent haulage
A castings collection, bulky tooling load or regular supply run needs the unit, goods gate, contact and slot. Send pallet-by-pallet dimensions and weights, identify lifting or side-loading requirements and confirm unloading equipment at the destination. For repeated Carrickfergus work, include the usual volumes, frequency, busy periods and return loads so the schedule can be assessed.
Urgent rigid or artic capacity can be assessed by our team. It does not carry the van collection estimate. Vehicle positioning, loading time, traffic, site appointments and applicable driver-hours limits determine the plan. UK, Ireland and European freight may also need ferry and goods-document arrangements.
Local work. Different requirements.
Transport shaped
by Carrickfergus.
Carrickfergus combines automotive castings, moulded aerospace components, industrial premises and energy infrastructure. A suitable movement starts with what the goods actually are and how both sites will handle them.
Trooperslane manufacturing
Automotive castings and production supplies
Ryobi Aluminium Casting’s Carrickfergus operation produces complex automotive aluminium castings at Trooperslane. Components, tools, packaging and maintenance supplies can have different protection and handling needs.
Give individual weights, packed footprints and any requirement to remain upright or supported. Identify stillages, crates or returnable frames and confirm how they will be lifted. Heavy small items still need appropriate loading and restraint.
Kilroot supply chain
Moulded parts and aircraft interiors
IPC Mouldings at Kilroot Business Park supplies injection-moulded components and CNC-machined parts, including work for aerospace and aircraft interiors. Protected components and tooling can need a precise handover.
Send the actual contents, packing, orientation and stacking limits. Include the authorised recipient and delivery slot. Tell us about sensitive finishes, controlled contents or security conditions before acceptance so the transport scope can be agreed.
Distinct Kilroot destinations
Industrial occupiers and maintenance equipment
Kilroot Business Park is an established location for industrial and business occupiers. A delivery to a particular unit needs its own receiving details. Kilroot Power Station is a separate operational destination.
For spares, tools or equipment, identify the operator, release reference, goods entrance and handling method. Explain lifting points and any specialist equipment early. Obtain the receiving organisation’s permission and current site instructions before dispatch.
Local business transport
Town stock and scheduled supplier runs
Carrickfergus commercial premises can need shop stock, print, display fittings, building supplies or repeat collections. Small packages and palletised freight can both depend on a narrow receiving window.
Give the lawful loading position, entrance and unloading arrangements. Include stop order, returns and any agreed two-person carrying. Where delivery involves stairs, long carrying distances or a particular final position, describe it when enquiring.
Local sector context: Ryobi’s Carrickfergus manufacturing and Kilroot Business Park context. Named organisations provide local context, not claims of Synergix customers.

Routes, loading
& site access.
Trooperslane, Kilroot’s separate sites and Carrickfergus town premises need specific entrances. The A2 connection and proximity to ferry ports help describe the area, while the actual vehicle and receiving conditions determine the job.
A2 and the final approach
The A2 connects Carrickfergus through Greenisland and Jordanstown towards the Belfast area. The main road connection does not resolve the final turn into a factory, shop or yard.
Provide the suitable approach for the selected vehicle and any height, width, weight or turning limits. Check current signs and road conditions. Allow for loading, waiting and the receiver’s booked window when planning the journey.
Trooperslane and Meadowbank Road
Use the business, unit and goods entrance for a Trooperslane collection. Include a release or appointment reference and a contact who can authorise loading.
Confirm whether goods leave from a dock, forklift area or another loading point. Give space for side access and restraint work where needed. A corporate contact address is not necessarily the door used for freight.
Kilroot Business Park and power station
Name the exact Kilroot destination and operator. A business-park unit and the power station have different receiving arrangements, even when nearby.
Obtain current gate, induction or appointment requirements from the receiving site. Supply the consignment details, vehicle restrictions and lifting method. Confirm permission before the vehicle travels to a controlled entrance.
Town and surrounding business deliveries
For a shop or workshop, agree a lawful stopping and loading point with the recipient. State a rear service entrance, shared yard, restricted delivery period or tight turning area.
Give doorway and carrying details where the goods cannot be handed over beside the vehicle. For an outlying address, include the last approach, surface, slope and turning space. Photos can clarify an awkward gate.
Belfast Harbour and Larne handovers
A port collection needs the named terminal, operator, booking or release reference and authorised receiving contact. Confirm whether the job concerns packaged goods, an accompanied vehicle or an unaccompanied unit.
Belfast Harbour controls operational access through its own pass and visitor arrangements. Larne freight acceptance also depends on the operator and load. Local coverage does not create port permission or prove specialist handling is included.
Great Britain freight and goods information
Plan a Great Britain delivery around a confirmed freight crossing, check-in and the final receiver’s hours. P&O’s Larne-Cairnryan freight guidance distinguishes different unit and cargo requirements; confirm the current arrangements for the actual load.
Movement information depends on direction, goods status and eligibility. Give the full origin and destination and agree who supplies the required information. Any declaration, clearance or regulated-goods service must be separately confirmed.
Confirm the last few metres
Describe the ground, slope, kerb, steps, loading bay and final placement. Photos help with a narrow yard or awkward entrance. A tail lift lowers goods; it does not move a pallet over gravel, up steps or through a doorway.
Carrickfergus and surrounding areas
Where is your
collection?
We assess collections and deliveries across Carrickfergus and the surrounding area, with onward UK transport. These groups help describe the job. They are coverage areas, not Synergix branch locations or fixed service boundaries.
Carrickfergus business addresses
Carrickfergus town, Trooperslane, Meadowbank Road and surrounding premises.
Provide the exact unit and lawful goods entrance, release contact and loading method.
Kilroot and nearby industrial work
Kilroot Business Park, the separate Kilroot Power Station site and nearby industrial addresses.
Name the actual operator and obtain its current appointment, access and receiving instructions.
Surrounding places and onward transport
Greenisland, Eden, Whitehead and surrounding addresses can be discussed, alongside onward Belfast and Larne movements.
Each address is assessed for vehicle availability and access. Port and Great Britain work require a separate freight and receiving plan.

What affects the price?
Vehicle positioning, loaded distance, vehicle/body type and time at collection and delivery all contribute. Waiting, additional stops, handling equipment, extra labour, route charges and a return journey can alter the quote.
For ferry or European work, route timing and goods-document requirements also matter. We quote the actual movement; there is no single Carrickfergus mileage price that fits every load.
What happens if something changes?
Tell us promptly about an extra pallet, heavier item, delayed release, changed entrance or missed slot. We can reassess the vehicle, deadline and cost before an unsuitable arrangement causes a problem.
An enquiry is the start of the conversation. Vehicle allocation, timing, handling and price are confirmed for the booking.

Carrickfergus and the surrounding area
The map shows Carrickfergus in County Antrim on the north shore of Belfast Lough. Trooperslane, Kilroot and surrounding places need their own exact receiving details. Belfast Harbour and Larne Port are separate destinations with independent access arrangements. Send both full addresses and the correct goods entrances when enquiring.
This is an area map. It does not mark a Synergix office, establish a fixed service boundary or provide HGV routing. Our team confirms collection, delivery and access for the job.

Before you book
Carrickfergus transport
questions answered.
Courier, timing and delivery
How quickly can you collect in Carrickfergus?
Call with the collection postcode, ready time and deadline. Northern Ireland availability is checked individually. Ferry space, check-in and onward travel must be planned separately for Great Britain movements.
Can you deliver from Carrickfergus to Great Britain?
A Great Britain journey needs a ferry crossing and onward driving as well as collection. Send both addresses, the goods ready time and final receiving deadline. We assess sailing availability, check-in, goods-document arrangements and the complete journey before agreeing timing.
What can a dedicated courier carry?
Courier work can include documents, parts, samples, print, IT equipment, technical cases, boxed stock and suitable bulky or palletised goods. Give the packaged dimensions, quantities and individual weights so we can assess the vehicle, loading and receiving arrangements.
Will a dedicated courier load stay on the same vehicle?
It normally stays on the same vehicle between the agreed collection and delivery points, without a parcel-network sorting hub. Tell us about extra stops, returns or unusual route requirements so the arrangement is clear before booking.
Can I call at night or at the weekend?
Yes. Our phones are answered 24/7/365. Call to discuss the load and confirm a suitable vehicle and plan. Someone must be available to release the goods and accept them at the agreed times.
How will I receive delivery updates and proof of delivery?
Live tracking and electronic proof of delivery are available. Agree the updates and evidence you need when booking, including a named recipient, signature, photograph or delivery reference.
Haulage, vehicles and unloading
Do I need a courier or a haulage arrangement?
Start with the goods and deadline. An urgent part, technical case or suitable pallet may need a courier. Heavier freight, larger volumes, specialist bodies or repeat loads may need haulage. Send the load and site details and we will help you choose.
Can you arrange dedicated pallet transport in Carrickfergus?
Yes, we assess dedicated pallet movements with collection, delivery and a suitable vehicle agreed for the job. Send the loaded footprint, height, individual weights, quantity, stackability and loading at both ends. Synergix does not offer pallet-network services.
Can you discuss full loads, part loads and regular deliveries?
Yes. Full loads, regular haulage and supported part-load arrangements can be discussed. Agree the body, loading, collection window and delivery plan. Part-load availability is assessed individually; it is not a pallet-network product.
How do I choose a van or lorry, and can LoadCheck help?
Measure each item as it will travel, including packaging, the pallet and overhang. Enter packaged dimensions, weights and quantities into LoadCheck for an initial size estimate. Our team confirms actual fit, usable payload, apertures, restraint, equipment, access and availability.
What if the delivery site has no forklift?
Tell us before booking. A suitable tail lift, mounted forklift, crane or agreed crew may be an option, depending on the goods and site. Send item weights, dimensions, fork access or lifting points, ground conditions and final placement. These handling methods solve different problems and must be agreed.
When must I request an electric pump truck?
Under Synergix’s booking rule, request an electric pump truck when pallet-truck handling is needed for an individual loaded pallet weighing 800 kg or more. Lighter pallets may also need powered handling. Platform load, footprint, ground and the actual equipment still need checking.
Can you assess a crane or mounted-forklift delivery?
Yes. Send the precise goods, individual weights, dimensions, lifting points or fork access, required placement and photographs of the unloading area. Crane reach and support conditions differ from forklift access. Suitability, equipment and availability are confirmed for the job.
Can you arrange refrigerated transport or event refrigeration?
We can assess both, with the product, required temperature and handover agreed. Refrigerated transport moves goods under an agreed temperature arrangement. Stationary event refrigeration provides storage at a venue. Tell us which you need, the duration, access and any power requirement.
Carrickfergus access and local handovers
Can you collect from Trooperslane or Kilroot?
Yes, we can assess the collection when you send the operator, unit, correct goods entrance, ready time and contact. Include any release or slot reference and the loading equipment. At Kilroot, distinguish the business-park occupier from the power station.
What details help with castings, moulded parts or tooling?
Send packed dimensions, individual and total weights, orientation and stacking limits. Explain crates, stillages, lifting points or sensitive finishes and confirm equipment at both ends. Photos help clarify the item, while actual measurements and handling determine the suitable vehicle.
Does a Carrickfergus booking include port access or clearance?
No automatic permission or clearance follows from local transport coverage. Name the port, terminal, release authority, reference and appointment. Agree entry requirements, goods information and any separate clearance or specialist handling before dispatch.
How much notice is needed for haulage from Carrickfergus?
It depends on the load, vehicle, equipment, site arrangements and any crossing. Call with readiness and the final delivery window so availability can be checked. HGV or specialist requirements need their own assessment.
Can a local collection connect with a ferry to Great Britain?
We can assess the complete journey against the actual deadline. Freight booking, cargo acceptance, check-in, sailing space and onward travel all matter. Give the receiver’s hours and any release delays; a nearby port alone does not guarantee a connection.
Price, booking and changes
What affects the price of a Carrickfergus courier or haulage job?
Vehicle positioning, route distance, body type, deadline, waiting, loading, extra stops, handling equipment and additional labour affect the quote. Send accurate goods and site details. We price the actual arrangement rather than applying one mileage rate to every load.
How do I book, and what happens if the job changes?
Request a quote or call with both addresses, packaged dimensions, individual and total weights, quantities, ready time, deadline, contacts and handling at both ends. We confirm the vehicle, plan and price for the booking. Tell us promptly about added goods, delayed release or a changed slot so we can reassess.
Can you discuss warehousing, retail distribution or two-person delivery?
Yes. Send the usual route, frequency, volumes, receiving windows and seasonal peaks. Warehousing, cross-docking, retail distribution and agreed two-person handling can be considered within a wider arrangement. Storage location, handling scope, availability and commercial terms are agreed separately.
