01 / Same-day & dedicated courier
Ballymena courier.
A direct delivery.
If a missing component is holding up production, an event is waiting for its equipment or a customer needs stock today, call with the actual deadline. We arrange dedicated collection and delivery between the agreed points, without a parcel-network sorting hub.
Urgent business consignments
Documents, engineering parts, samples, tools, print, boxed stock and IT equipment can all need a dedicated courier. The smallest suitable vehicle depends on the packaged goods, not the label “parcel”. Send the quantity, dimensions and weights.
A server, delicate prototype or finished component needs packaging that protects it during loading and travel. Tell us if it must stay upright, cannot be stacked or needs a named recipient.
Pallets and bulky items
Courier work can include a suitable pallet or bulky consignment. We check the vehicle aperture, usable space, payload and unloading method. A pallet does not automatically fit a van just because it fits on the floor.
For heavier loads, several pallets or specialised unloading, see the haulage guidance. You can enquire without choosing the lorry first.
How quickly can we collect?
Call with the two postcodes and the actual deadline. We check Northern Ireland vehicle availability for your job. A Great Britain crossing needs a separate sailing and onward-delivery plan; a local collection estimate is not a mainland arrival promise.
Collection speed is only part of the plan. Tell us when the goods will be released, how long loading will take and the receiver’s latest acceptance time. A replacement part ready at a Ballymena workshop may be able to travel directly to another Northern Ireland site. A protected assembly destined for Great Britain also needs an accepted freight crossing and onward driving time. Include release checks, check-in and the receiver's closing time in the enquiry.
Ballymena collections and onward UK delivery
Ballymena's bus manufacturing and precision engineering create different urgent-load questions. Give the actual component description, packaged dimensions, weight and time it will be released. For Wakehurst or another industrial unit, identify the correct gate and a contact who can hand over the goods.
For a shop, hospitality business or workshop, agree the lawful loading position and final receiving time. Include any fragile finish, orientation or part-identification instructions. Local Northern Ireland road movements and ferry-dependent Great Britain deliveries are assessed separately against the actual deadline.
Updates, proof of delivery and repeat work
Our team remains your contact for the movement. Live tracking and electronic proof of delivery are available; agree any named-recipient, signature, photograph or reference requirements when booking.
We also assess scheduled supplier collections, branch transfers, multi-stop work and repeat courier routes. Phones are answered 24/7/365. The vehicle, crew and access at each end are confirmed for the booking.
02 / General & dedicated haulage
Ballymena haulage.
Planned around the load.
For dedicated pallet transport, heavier engineering freight or a regular trailer movement, Synergix arranges the vehicle and driver around your load, handling and receiving requirements. Options include 7.5t, 18t and 26t rigids, full artics and suitable specialist configurations.
Dedicated pallet transport
Tell us the actual loaded footprint, height, weight and whether the freight can be stacked. A nominal pallet size does not include a crate, machine or packaging that projects beyond it.
We arrange a dedicated vehicle for your palletised goods, with collection, delivery and loading agreed for your job. Our team coordinates the movement and remains your point of contact. Tell us about fragile freight, specific handling or a timed delivery when booking.
Full loads, part loads and repeat work
A full vehicle can support larger consignments, stock transfers, production schedules and loads needing dedicated capacity. Agree the body, floor space, payload and loading order.
Part-load haulage can also be discussed where a suitable arrangement is available. Agree its collection window, delivery plan and handling before booking. For regular work, send your collection frequency, usual volumes, busy periods, site opening hours and return-load requirements.
Choose the body as well as the lorry size
Box and curtainsider
A box body uses its specified door opening and loading arrangement. A curtainsider can allow suitable forklift loading from the side. Check clear aperture, side access and restraint; curtains alone are not a universal load-securing system.
Flatbed, crane and mounted forklift
Long material, machinery or a delivery without a forklift may need a different body or handling method. A HIAB-type crane and MOFFETT-type forklift do different jobs. Supply load weights, lifting points or fork access, required reach and site photographs.
Temperature-controlled loads
Specify the product, required temperature, collection condition, packaging and monitoring or handover records. A refrigeration unit changes the vehicle specification; confirm its actual payload and space.
Articulated and specialist trailers
Curtainsider, box, refrigerated, flatbed and specialist trailer requirements are assessed individually. A long or heavy item needs its full dimensions, weight distribution and loading plan checked. The illustrated range does not establish suitability for every load.
Getting it off matters just as much
Confirm a forklift, loading dock, tail lift or other agreed equipment at both ends. For a tail-lift delivery, we need the individual item weight, footprint, all weight on the platform, permitted handling method, load centre and the surface beyond the lift.
When pallet-truck handling is needed for an individual loaded pallet weighing 800 kg or more, request an electric pump truck. This is Synergix's booking requirement. Lower weights can also need powered handling. A tail lift and pallet truck do not automatically solve gravel, slopes, steps or an unsuitable pallet.
Timed deliveries and urgent haulage
Palletised production supplies, bulky assemblies and repeat stock collections need load-by-load measurements and site details. For a Galgorm Road factory, Wakehurst unit or retail receiver, send the unit, gate, slot reference and loading method. Confirm forklift or dock availability, side-loading needs, individual pallet weights and whether the load can be stacked. For regular work, provide the frequency and expected busy periods.
Urgent rigid or artic capacity can be assessed by our team. It does not carry the van collection estimate. Vehicle positioning, loading time, traffic, site appointments and applicable driver-hours limits determine the plan. UK, Ireland and European freight may also need ferry and goods-document arrangements.
Local work. Different requirements.
Transport shaped
by Ballymena.
Bus manufacturing, aerospace finishing, retail and hospitality give Ballymena a varied mix of transport needs. A protected machined part, palletised production material and a bulky shop fitting need their own packing and unloading arrangements.
Galgorm Road manufacturing
Bus production supplies and service parts
Wrightbus manufactures buses in Ballymena, with its principal business address on Galgorm Road. Parts, production materials and service equipment can range from small urgent consignments to larger packed assemblies.
Give the part description, quantity, ready time and receiving team. State whether the item needs special restraint or protection. Declare batteries, fluids and any regulated contents before acceptance, so the vehicle, handling and any crossing requirements can be assessed.
Precision supply chains
Aerospace components and finishing work
Aerospace Metal Finishers identifies a Ballymena operation within the Dontaur Group, while Invest NI's Dontaur profile describes aerospace component and assembly production at Wakehurst. Parts moving through machining and finishing need clear identification and appropriate protection.
Explain whether the item is unfinished, coated, sensitive to contact or packed in a returnable case. Include individual weights, stacking limits and the authorised receiver. Any security conditions, restricted contents or special documents must be declared before the movement is accepted.
Town-centre businesses
Retail stock, displays and fit-out materials
Ballymena's current council information describes independent retail, shopping centres and town-centre fit-outs. Stock replenishment, display equipment and shop fittings can have tight receiving windows and limited unloading space.
Give the store, delivery door and booking reference rather than only the public entrance. Tell us about stairs, lifts, distance from the vehicle and the need for agreed two-person handling. Provide the packaged dimensions of bulky fittings before a vehicle is selected.
Ballymena and surrounding addresses
Hospitality equipment and repeat commercial runs
The town and surrounding Ballymena area include hospitality businesses as well as manufacturing and retail. Equipment, linen, boxed supplies and event materials may need delivery to a service entrance at an agreed time.
Confirm the receiving contact, goods condition and handling route. If a product needs temperature control, specify the required range and monitoring. For repeat collections, give the usual load, operating pattern and seasonal changes so a practical arrangement can be discussed.
Local sector context: Current Ballymena bus manufacturing context. Named organisations provide local context, not claims of Synergix customers.

Routes, loading
& site access.
The A26 northern corridor provides regional connections through Ballymena. A factory gate, town-centre loading point and rural business entrance still need a separate check for the goods and vehicle being booked.
A26 corridor and vehicle approach
The A26 corridor links Ballymena with Antrim and Belfast to the south and Ballymoney and Coleraine to the north. Use the exact destination and a suitable approach for the booked vehicle.
Tell us about low structures, weight limits, narrow turns and current works on the final route. Allow for loading and receiving time as well as the road journey. A main-road connection is only part of a complete collection plan.
Galgorm Road and factory receiving
For a production-site collection, give the company, release reference and current goods entrance. Identify the contact responsible for releasing the consignment and confirm when it will be ready.
Check the available loading method and room for the vehicle. Include pallet footprints, individual weights, restraint access and any side-loading requirement. A principal business address does not identify the loading bay or confirm a receiving appointment.
Wakehurst and precision-parts handovers
Wakehurst and other industrial addresses need the unit and correct gate as well as the postcode. Provide sign-in instructions, part identification and the department accepting the delivery.
Agree packaging that protects the actual component and its finish. If a returnable case, stillage or empty packaging is to come back, include its size, weight and collection arrangement in the booking.
Retail and town-centre deliveries
Ask the shop, shopping-centre operator or fit-out contractor for the goods entrance, delivery window and lawful waiting position. Public customer parking may have different access rules from service areas.
Explain any height limit, shared yard, loading lift or long carry. Agree two-person handling and packaging removal where needed. Installation and assembly require their own agreed scope.
Surrounding workshops and rural premises
For an address outside the town, send the full postcode and final approach, with photographs if useful. Describe gate width, turning space, slopes, loose surfaces and any limit on vehicle size.
Check loading at both ends before choosing a smaller vehicle for access. A tail lift still needs enough platform capacity and a suitable unloading area. Pallet-truck movement requires an appropriate surface and clear route.
Great Britain and Ireland journeys
Great Britain deliveries need a confirmed road and freight-crossing plan, check-in allowance and onward driving within receiving hours. State the goods, ready time, deadline and any temperature, security or unusual-load conditions.
Documentation depends on direction and goods eligibility. Simplified inbound processes have conditions; Ireland destinations or transit need their own assessment. Confirm the responsible parties and any separate customs arrangements before acceptance.
Confirm the last few metres
Describe the ground, slope, kerb, steps, loading bay and final placement. Photos help with a narrow yard or awkward entrance. A tail lift lowers goods; it does not move a pallet over gravel, up steps or through a doorway.

Where is your
collection?
We assess collections and deliveries across Ballymena and the surrounding area, with onward UK transport. These groups help describe the job. They are coverage areas, not Synergix branch locations or fixed service boundaries.
Ballymena town and retail addresses
Town centre, Harryville and surrounding Ballymena commercial addresses.

Manufacturing and industrial collections
Galgorm Road, Wakehurst Industrial Estate, Paradise Avenue and nearby business units.
Provide the operator, unit, release reference and agreed loading method for the actual consignment.
Surrounding Mid and East Antrim enquiries

What affects the price?
Vehicle positioning, loaded distance, vehicle/body type and time at collection and delivery all contribute. Waiting, additional stops, handling equipment, extra labour, route charges and a return journey can alter the quote.
For ferry or European work, route timing and goods-document requirements also matter. We quote the actual movement; there is no single Ballymena mileage price that fits every load.
What happens if something changes?
Tell us promptly about an extra pallet, heavier item, delayed release, changed entrance or missed slot. We can reassess the vehicle, deadline and cost before an unsuitable arrangement causes a problem.
An enquiry is the start of the conversation. Vehicle allocation, timing, handling and price are confirmed for the booking.

Ballymena and the surrounding area
The map shows Ballymena in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. Town-centre, Galgorm Road and industrial-estate collections need the specific gate, receiving contact and loading details for each address. Send both full addresses and the correct goods entrances when enquiring.

Before you book
Ballymena transport
questions answered.
Courier, timing and delivery
How quickly can you collect in Ballymena?
Call with the collection postcode, ready time and deadline. Northern Ireland availability is checked individually. Ferry space, check-in and onward travel must be planned separately for Great Britain movements.
Can you deliver from Ballymena to Great Britain?
A Great Britain journey needs a ferry crossing and onward driving as well as collection. Send both addresses, the goods ready time and final receiving deadline. We assess sailing availability, check-in, goods-document arrangements and the complete journey before agreeing timing.
What can a dedicated courier carry?
Courier work can include documents, parts, samples, print, IT equipment, technical cases, boxed stock and suitable bulky or palletised goods. Give the packaged dimensions, quantities and individual weights so we can assess the vehicle, loading and receiving arrangements.
Will a dedicated courier load stay on the same vehicle?
It normally stays on the same vehicle between the agreed collection and delivery points, without a parcel-network sorting hub. Tell us about extra stops, returns or unusual route requirements so the arrangement is clear before booking.
Can I call at night or at the weekend?
Yes. Our phones are answered 24/7/365. Call to discuss the load and confirm a suitable vehicle and plan. Someone must be available to release the goods and accept them at the agreed times.
How will I receive delivery updates and proof of delivery?
Live tracking and electronic proof of delivery are available. Agree the updates and evidence you need when booking, including a named recipient, signature, photograph or delivery reference.
Haulage, vehicles and unloading
Do I need a courier or a haulage arrangement?
Start with the goods and deadline. An urgent part, technical case or suitable pallet may need a courier. Heavier freight, larger volumes, specialist bodies or repeat loads may need haulage. Send the load and site details and we will help you choose.
Can you arrange dedicated pallet transport in Ballymena?
Yes, we assess dedicated pallet movements with collection, delivery and a suitable vehicle agreed for the job. Send the loaded footprint, height, individual weights, quantity, stackability and loading at both ends. Synergix does not offer pallet-network services.
Can you discuss full loads, part loads and regular deliveries?
Yes. Full loads, regular haulage and supported part-load arrangements can be discussed. Agree the body, loading, collection window and delivery plan. Part-load availability is assessed individually; it is not a pallet-network product.
How do I choose a van or lorry, and can LoadCheck help?
Measure each item as it will travel, including packaging, the pallet and overhang. Enter packaged dimensions, weights and quantities into LoadCheck for an initial size estimate. Our team confirms actual fit, usable payload, apertures, restraint, equipment, access and availability.
What if the delivery site has no forklift?
Tell us before booking. A suitable tail lift, mounted forklift, crane or agreed crew may be an option, depending on the goods and site. Send item weights, dimensions, fork access or lifting points, ground conditions and final placement. These handling methods solve different problems and must be agreed.
When must I request an electric pump truck?
Under Synergix’s booking rule, request an electric pump truck when pallet-truck handling is needed for an individual loaded pallet weighing 800 kg or more. Lighter pallets may also need powered handling. Platform load, footprint, ground and the actual equipment still need checking.
Can you assess a crane or mounted-forklift delivery?
Yes. Send the precise goods, individual weights, dimensions, lifting points or fork access, required placement and photographs of the unloading area. Crane reach and support conditions differ from forklift access. Suitability, equipment and availability are confirmed for the job.
Can you arrange refrigerated transport or event refrigeration?
We can assess both, with the product, required temperature and handover agreed. Refrigerated transport moves goods under an agreed temperature arrangement. Stationary event refrigeration provides storage at a venue. Tell us which you need, the duration, access and any power requirement.
Ballymena access and local handovers
What information helps a factory collection in Ballymena?
Give the company, correct gate, loading bay and release reference, plus a contact and ready time. Add packaged dimensions, individual and total weights, the loading method and the receiver's latest acceptance time. We assess the vehicle against the complete job.
Can you assess parts moving between machining and finishing?
Yes, describe the actual part, its finish and its protective packaging. Include item identification, orientation, stackability and weights. Agree an authorised receiver and declare restricted contents or security conditions before acceptance.
Can a Ballymena collection go to Great Britain?
We assess the road journey, suitable freight crossing, check-in and onward delivery against your deadline. Send the full goods description and receiving hours. The movement direction and goods determine the required information and any separate customs arrangements.
How quickly can a courier collect in Ballymena?
Tell us where the goods are, when they are ready and the required delivery time. We check local vehicle availability, access and handling before confirming collection. A specialist body, larger vehicle or sea crossing needs its own plan.
Can you arrange regular deliveries as well as urgent work?
Yes, discuss the expected frequency, usual quantities, collection and receiving windows, and loading at both ends. We can assess an agreed repeat arrangement alongside one-off courier and haulage requirements. Include seasonal changes or additional handling in the enquiry.
Price, booking and changes
What affects the price of a Ballymena courier or haulage job?
Vehicle positioning, route distance, body type, deadline, waiting, loading, extra stops, handling equipment and additional labour affect the quote. Send accurate goods and site details. We price the actual arrangement rather than applying one mileage rate to every load.
How do I book, and what happens if the job changes?
Request a quote or call with both addresses, packaged dimensions, individual and total weights, quantities, ready time, deadline, contacts and handling at both ends. We confirm the vehicle, plan and price for the booking. Tell us promptly about added goods, delayed release or a changed slot so we can reassess.
Can you discuss warehousing, retail distribution or two-person delivery?
Yes. Send the usual route, frequency, volumes, receiving windows and seasonal peaks. Warehousing, cross-docking, retail distribution and agreed two-person handling can be considered within a wider arrangement. Storage location, handling scope, availability and commercial terms are agreed separately.
