01 / Same-day & dedicated courier
Croydon courier.
A direct delivery.
An urgent commercial handover needs the right vehicle and a named recipient. We arrange dedicated transport around the actual goods, release time and receiving arrangements.
Protected equipment, components, print and commercial stock
Give the precise collecting business, unit, release contact and reference. Send the complete packed dimensions and individual weights, with protection, upright-only or fragile-goods instructions.
Disclose batteries, chemicals or controlled goods before acceptance. A business address or industry description does not establish suitable loading equipment or permission for every consignment.
Stock, project supplies and suitable pallets
Commercial stock, print, equipment cases and suitable pallets can need a dedicated collection or delivery. Include packaging and projections, quantity and individual weights.
Confirm loading staff, forklift or other equipment and receiving arrangements at both ends. Bulky pieces can need more usable room than compact heavy parts. Discuss crew, placement and heavier freight through the haulage guidance.
Ready time, vehicle and receiving deadline
A van collection in Croydon may be possible in around 45 minutes, subject to the actual location, goods and suitable vehicle availability. Call for an estimate for your job. Rigids, artics and specialist equipment need a separate availability check.
Confirm when the goods are packed and released, loading staff are ready and the recipient can actually accept them. A visitor opening time or general reception address is not a goods-in appointment.
Local collection and onward UK delivery
Purley Way collections need the current unit and loading yard. New Addington technical goods need protective packing and authorised release details. Central Croydon shops, offices and venues need their service entrance and receiving slot, with current route and loading controls checked.
The ready time, route and latest receiving time determine whether a same-day movement is achievable. European work also needs goods documents and customs responsibilities agreed. A collection estimate is not a delivery guarantee.
Updates and repeat collections
Our team remains your point of contact. Live tracking and electronic proof of delivery are available; agree the recipient, updates and any signature, photograph or reference requirement when booking.
Scheduled supplier runs, stock transfers and out-of-hours enquiries can also be discussed. Our phones are answered 24/7/365. Timing, vehicle allocation and site access are confirmed for the booking.
02 / General & dedicated haulage
Croydon haulage.
Planned around the load.
For dedicated pallet transport, heavier commercial freight or a regular trailer movement, Synergix arranges the vehicle and driver around your load, handling and receiving requirements. Options include 7.5t, 18t and 26t rigids, full artics and suitable specialist configurations.
Dedicated pallet transport
Tell us the actual loaded footprint, height, weight and whether the freight can be stacked. A nominal pallet size does not include a crate, machine or packaging that projects beyond it.
We arrange a dedicated vehicle for your palletised goods, with collection, delivery and loading agreed for your job. Our team coordinates the movement and remains your point of contact. Tell us about fragile freight, specific handling or a timed delivery when booking.
Full loads, part loads and repeat work
A full vehicle can support larger consignments, stock transfers, production schedules and loads needing dedicated capacity. Agree the body, floor space, payload and loading order.
Part-load haulage can also be discussed where a suitable arrangement is available. Agree its collection window, delivery plan and handling before booking. For regular work, send your collection frequency, usual volumes, busy periods, site opening hours and return-load requirements.
Choose the body as well as the lorry size
Box and curtainsider
A box body uses its specified door opening and loading arrangement. A curtainsider can allow suitable forklift loading from the side. Check clear aperture, side access and restraint; curtains alone are not a universal load-securing system.
Flatbed, crane and mounted forklift
Long material, machinery or a delivery without a forklift may need a different body or handling method. A HIAB-type crane and MOFFETT-type forklift do different jobs. Supply load weights, lifting points or fork access, required reach and site photographs.
Temperature-controlled loads
Specify the product, required temperature, collection condition, packaging and monitoring or handover records. A refrigeration unit changes the vehicle specification; confirm its actual payload and space.
Articulated and specialist trailers
Curtainsider, box, refrigerated, flatbed and specialist trailer requirements are assessed individually. A long or heavy item needs its full dimensions, weight distribution and loading plan checked. The illustrated range does not establish suitability for every load.
Getting it off matters just as much
Confirm a forklift, loading dock, tail lift or other agreed equipment at both ends. For a tail-lift delivery, we need the individual item weight, footprint, all weight on the platform, permitted handling method, load centre and the surface beyond the lift.
When pallet-truck handling is needed for an individual loaded pallet weighing 800 kg or more, request an electric pump truck. This is Synergix's booking requirement. Lower weights can also need powered handling. A tail lift and pallet truck do not automatically solve gravel, slopes, steps or an unsuitable pallet.
Timed deliveries and urgent haulage
A booked warehouse receiving slot off Purley Way, a factory shutdown or a construction delivery needs more than an arrival postcode. Send the booking reference, goods entrance, vehicle limits, loading method and a contact who can accept the load.
Urgent rigid or artic capacity can be assessed by our team. It does not carry the van collection estimate. Vehicle positioning, loading time, traffic, site appointments and applicable driver-hours limits determine the plan. UK, Ireland and European freight may also need ferry and goods-document arrangements.
Local work. Different requirements.
Transport shaped
by Croydon.
Croydon brings together the local activities below. Named organisations establish sector context, not Synergix customers or approvals. The examples explain the goods, handling and handover details needed for a transport enquiry.
Purley Way and industrial areas
Stock, production parts and freight
Council evidence identifies industrial, manufacturing and distribution premises around Beddington Farm, Commerce Way, Factory Lane and Whitestone Way. Use the actual current business and unit for a collection.
Provide packed dimensions, individual weights and stacking limits, with the receiving appointment. Check the yard and turning space for the proposed combination and confirm forklift, dock or suitable agreed handling. Proposed redevelopment is not proof of completed premises.
New Addington specialist production
Electronics and defence supply-chain context
Exosens identifies design, prototyping, manufacture and test at its Croydon site, with defence among its markets. Protected detectors, components or assemblies can require a precise handover.
State the exact goods, packaging, orientation, item references and authorised receiver. Declare controls or security requirements before acceptance. Local sector activity does not establish Synergix as an Exosens supplier, a defence-approved carrier or a holder of site clearance.
Croydon cultural quarter
Equipment and production deliveries
The council identifies Fairfield Halls as a performance and event venue. Cases, production equipment and supplier materials need an organiser-confirmed arrival and service entrance.
Send the event reference, packed dimensions and weights, loading crew, bay limits and breakdown collection time. Transport confirmation is separate from venue permission. Refrigerated-trailer hire for an event is a separate requirement from carrying temperature-controlled goods.
Central Croydon businesses
Retail replenishment and office moves
Stock transfers, boxed office equipment and project materials can need an urgent direct journey or a repeat delivery plan. The receiving entrance can differ from the public frontage.
Describe the complete load, goods lift, handling distance, steps and agreed final placement. Send frequency, usual and peak volumes for regular work. Warehousing, retail distribution and two-person delivery can be discussed alongside the transport.
Local context: Purley Way industrial and distribution activity.

Routes, loading
& site access.
The A23 and Purley Way can form part of a journey, but an industrial yard and a central receiving bay have different constraints. Check the exact approach, current loading signs and any event or works changes for the job date.
Town-centre controls and loading gaps
Croydon’s guidance distinguishes zone-entry hours, individual restrictions and loading gaps. Check the actual signs and safe loading point. A paid bay or controlled-zone permit does not settle every loading or vehicle-access question.
Obtain the service entrance and receiver before dispatch. Goods should be ready, and the vehicle must leave when loading is complete. Council parking restrictions.
Red routes, works and industrial gates
Check the signed section of the A23 or other red route and the destination bay. A reachable postcode is not permission to stop outside. Recheck current closures and movement restrictions for events or works.
For Purley Way yards, confirm unit, gate, vehicle size and unloading equipment. For Fairfield Halls or another venue, use current organiser instructions. Historic planning documents do not establish a universal delivery window.
Vehicle permits and London lorry controls
The operator must check the allocated lorry against TfL’s HGV safety-permit scheme and London Councils’ lorry-control requirements. Their scope depends on the vehicle and route.
Legal road access, a receiving appointment and space to unload are separate checks. HGV safety permits and London lorry controls.
The complete route and unloading point
London emissions and road-user charges need checking for the actual vehicle, date and journey. A compliant vehicle still needs a lawful approach, suitable turning room and an agreed loading point. TfL emissions guidance.
Describe the ground, slope, kerb, doors and final placement. A tail lift lowers goods; it does not move a pallet over gravel or steps. Send site photographs where useful and identify the person who can accept the goods.
Check official major-road conditions for the job date. Notify us promptly about changed gates, delayed releases or missed appointments so timing, equipment and price can be reassessed.

What affects the price?
Vehicle positioning, loaded distance, vehicle/body type and time at collection and delivery all contribute. Waiting, additional stops, handling equipment, extra labour, route charges and a return journey can alter the quote.
For ferry or European work, route timing and goods-document requirements also matter. We quote the actual movement; there is no single Croydon mileage price that fits every load.
What happens if something changes?
Tell us promptly about an extra pallet, heavier item, delayed release, changed entrance or missed slot. We can reassess the vehicle, deadline and cost before an unsuitable arrangement causes a problem.
An enquiry is the start of the conversation. Vehicle allocation, timing, handling and price are confirmed for the booking.

Before you book
Croydon transport
questions answered.
Courier, timing and delivery
How quickly can you collect in Croydon?
A van collection may be possible in around 45 minutes, subject to the address, goods and a suitable available vehicle. Call with the ready time and deadline for an estimate. Lorries, refrigerated vehicles and specialist equipment need their own availability and positioning check.
Can you deliver from Croydon elsewhere in the UK today?
It may be possible, depending on when the goods are ready, loading time, vehicle position, road conditions and the receiver’s latest acceptance time. Give us both addresses and the actual deadline. We assess the complete movement before confirming a plan.
Will my dedicated courier delivery stay on the same vehicle?
A dedicated courier movement normally stays on the same vehicle between the agreed collection and delivery points, without a parcel-network sorting hub. Tell us about additional stops, a return collection or any unusual route requirement so the arrangement is clear before booking.
Can I call at night, at weekends or on bank holidays?
Yes. Our phones are answered 24/7/365. Call to discuss the movement and confirm the suitable vehicle, handling and receiving arrangements. Someone must be available to release the goods and accept them at the proposed times.
How will I know the goods have been delivered?
Live tracking and electronic proof of delivery are available. Agree the updates and receiving evidence you need when booking, including any named-recipient, signature, photograph or delivery reference requirement.
What happens if collection is delayed or the delivery slot changes?
Contact our team promptly. A later release, changed receiving slot or additional waiting can affect the vehicle, driver schedule, arrival plan and cost. Give us the new ready time and receiver’s instructions so we can reassess the movement.
Haulage, vehicles and handling
Do I need a courier or a haulage service?
Start with what needs moving and the deadline. An urgent component, parcel or suitable pallet may need a dedicated courier. Heavier freight, larger volumes, specialist bodies or repeat work may need a haulage arrangement. Send the load details and we will help you choose.
Can you arrange dedicated pallet transport in Croydon?
Yes, we assess dedicated pallet movements with the vehicle, collection and delivery agreed for the job. Send the loaded footprint, height, individual weights, quantity, stackability and unloading arrangements. Synergix does not offer pallet-network services.
Can you arrange full loads, part loads and regular haulage?
We can discuss full loads, regular work and supported part-load arrangements. The collection window, delivery plan, body, loading method and availability must suit the job. A part-load enquiry is assessed individually; it is not a pallet-network product.
How do I choose the right van or lorry?
Measure each item as it will travel, including packaging, the pallet and any overhang. Give the quantity, individual and total weights, stackability and any orientation limit. We check the actual load space, aperture, working payload, equipment and site access. Vehicle gross weight is not cargo payload.
Can I use LoadCheck before asking for a quote?
Yes. Enter packaged dimensions, item weights and quantities for an initial vehicle-size estimate. Send the result with your enquiry. LoadCheck does not confirm actual vehicle fit, restraint, loading equipment, payload, availability or a booking.
What if the receiving site has no forklift?
Tell us before booking. A suitable tail lift, mounted forklift, crane or agreed handling crew may be an option, but they solve different problems. We need the item weights, dimensions, fork access or lifting points, surface and final placement. Equipment does not come with every vehicle.
When must I request an electric pump truck?
Under Synergix’s booking rule, request an electric pump truck when pallet-truck handling is required for an individual loaded pallet weighing 800 kg or more. Lighter pallets can need powered handling too. Check the lift and platform capacity, footprint, all weight on the platform, ground and handling method. The threshold is not automatic proof of safe handling.
Do goods need packaging for a dedicated journey?
Yes, they need packaging suitable for the goods and the planned handling. A dedicated vehicle does not remove the risk of movement during loading and travel. Protect fragile surfaces, sharp edges and delicate equipment; tell us about upright-only, non-stackable or special restraint requirements.
Can you provide refrigerated transport or event refrigeration?
We can assess both, with the product, temperature and handover requirements agreed. Refrigerated road transport moves goods under an agreed temperature arrangement. Stationary event refrigeration provides storage at a venue. Explain which you need, the duration, access and any power requirement.
Croydon access and local handovers
Can you collect palletised freight from Purley Way?
We assess the actual load, unit and yard. Send loaded footprints, individual weights, ready time and receiving slot, with forklifts, dock or suitable agreed tail-lift handling at both ends. Check vehicle access and turning room before the body and capacity are confirmed.
Does ULEZ affect a Croydon courier or haulage quote?
The allocated vehicle and complete route need checking against current emissions and other road charges. HGV permits, lorry controls and site permission are separate checks. We quote the actual movement and agreed costs; do not assume that a postcode alone determines the charge or vehicle compliance.
Can you move sensitive technical components from New Addington?
We assess the actual contents, protective packaging, packed weights and dimensions, orientation and authorised handover. Provide references and any declared controls or security instructions before acceptance. Local electronics or defence-sector activity does not establish Synergix customer relationships, clearance or acceptance of every technical consignment.
Can you deliver equipment to Fairfield Halls?
An equipment delivery needs the organiser’s current service entrance, booked slot, reference and receiving contact. Supply packed dimensions, weights, loading crew and any return collection. Vehicle allocation does not grant venue entry; access and a safe unloading arrangement must also be confirmed.
Price, booking and ongoing work
What affects the price of a Croydon courier or haulage job?
Vehicle positioning, route distance, body and vehicle type, waiting, unloading, handling equipment, additional stops and the deadline affect the quote. Give accurate load and site details. Tell us about changes before dispatch so we can explain any effect on the arrangement or price.
What information do you need to book?
Send both full addresses and goods entrances, contact details, ready time and latest delivery time, item quantities, packaged dimensions, individual and total weights, stackability and loading equipment at both ends. Include access restrictions, references, photographs and any special handling or temperature requirement.
Can you discuss regular deliveries, warehousing or two-person work?
Yes. Give your usual route, frequency, volumes, receiving windows and seasonal peaks. Warehousing, cross-docking, retail distribution and agreed two-person delivery can be considered as part of a wider arrangement. Storage location, handling scope, availability and commercial terms are agreed separately.
Does sending an enquiry confirm my booking?
No. An enquiry starts the discussion. The vehicle, collection and delivery plan, handling, price and booking acceptance must be confirmed. A generated enquiry reference or LoadCheck result does not establish vehicle allocation or successful email delivery.
