Bexley
courier & haulage.

A precision component from Crayford, palletised stock in Erith or a booked business delivery in Sidcup. Synergix arranges same-day courier and road haulage across Bexley, with onward UK delivery. Send the goods, packed size and weight, ready time and actual entrance. We will help plan the vehicle and handover.

Your load.
The right vehicle.

Browse the van, rigid, articulated and specialist options, then open a vehicle guide for dimensions, body types and loading advice. You can ask for a particular vehicle or let us work from your load details.

Vehicle illustrations show example bodies. We confirm the actual vehicle, usable space, payload and equipment for your booking. Specialist configurations are subject to suitability and availability.

01 / Same-day & dedicated courier

Bexley courier.
A direct delivery.

An urgent commercial handover needs the right vehicle and a named recipient. We arrange dedicated transport around the actual goods, release time and receiving arrangements.

Protected equipment, components, print and commercial stock

Give the precise collecting business, unit, release contact and reference. Send the complete packed dimensions and individual weights, with protection, upright-only or fragile-goods instructions.

Disclose batteries, chemicals or controlled goods before acceptance. A business address or industry description does not establish suitable loading equipment or permission for every consignment.

Stock, project supplies and suitable pallets

Commercial stock, print, equipment cases and suitable pallets can need a dedicated collection or delivery. Include packaging and projections, quantity and individual weights.

Confirm loading staff, forklift or other equipment and receiving arrangements at both ends. Bulky pieces can need more usable room than compact heavy parts. Discuss crew, placement and heavier freight through the haulage guidance.

Ready time, vehicle and receiving deadline

A van collection in Bexley may be possible in around 45 minutes, subject to the actual location, goods and suitable vehicle availability. Call for an estimate for your job. Rigids, artics and specialist equipment need a separate availability check.

Confirm when the goods are packed and released, loading staff are ready and the recipient can actually accept them. A visitor opening time or general reception address is not a goods-in appointment.

Local collection and onward UK delivery

Erith and Belvedere industrial collections need the exact unit and goods gate. Crayford components need protection and authorised release details. Bexleyheath, Welling and Sidcup shops need the service entrance and lawful loading window, with the recipient ready to accept the goods.

The ready time, route and latest receiving time determine whether a same-day movement is achievable. European work also needs goods documents and customs responsibilities agreed. A collection estimate is not a delivery guarantee.

Updates and repeat collections

Our team remains your point of contact. Live tracking and electronic proof of delivery are available; agree the recipient, updates and any signature, photograph or reference requirement when booking.

Scheduled supplier runs, stock transfers and out-of-hours enquiries can also be discussed. Our phones are answered 24/7/365. Timing, vehicle allocation and site access are confirmed for the booking.

02 / General & dedicated haulage

Bexley haulage.
Planned around the load.

For dedicated pallet transport, heavier commercial freight or a regular trailer movement, Synergix arranges the vehicle and driver around your load, handling and receiving requirements. Options include 7.5t, 18t and 26t rigids, full artics and suitable specialist configurations.

Dedicated pallet transport

Tell us the actual loaded footprint, height, weight and whether the freight can be stacked. A nominal pallet size does not include a crate, machine or packaging that projects beyond it.

We arrange a dedicated vehicle for your palletised goods, with collection, delivery and loading agreed for your job. Our team coordinates the movement and remains your point of contact. Tell us about fragile freight, specific handling or a timed delivery when booking.

Full loads, part loads and repeat work

A full vehicle can support larger consignments, stock transfers, production schedules and loads needing dedicated capacity. Agree the body, floor space, payload and loading order.

Part-load haulage can also be discussed where a suitable arrangement is available. Agree its collection window, delivery plan and handling before booking. For regular work, send your collection frequency, usual volumes, busy periods, site opening hours and return-load requirements.

Choose the body as well as the lorry size

Box and curtainsider

A box body uses its specified door opening and loading arrangement. A curtainsider can allow suitable forklift loading from the side. Check clear aperture, side access and restraint; curtains alone are not a universal load-securing system.

Flatbed, crane and mounted forklift

Long material, machinery or a delivery without a forklift may need a different body or handling method. A HIAB-type crane and MOFFETT-type forklift do different jobs. Supply load weights, lifting points or fork access, required reach and site photographs.

Temperature-controlled loads

Specify the product, required temperature, collection condition, packaging and monitoring or handover records. A refrigeration unit changes the vehicle specification; confirm its actual payload and space.

Articulated and specialist trailers

Curtainsider, box, refrigerated, flatbed and specialist trailer requirements are assessed individually. A long or heavy item needs its full dimensions, weight distribution and loading plan checked. The illustrated range does not establish suitability for every load.

Getting it off matters just as much

Confirm a forklift, loading dock, tail lift or other agreed equipment at both ends. For a tail-lift delivery, we need the individual item weight, footprint, all weight on the platform, permitted handling method, load centre and the surface beyond the lift.

When pallet-truck handling is needed for an individual loaded pallet weighing 800 kg or more, request an electric pump truck. This is Synergix's booking requirement. Lower weights can also need powered handling. A tail lift and pallet truck do not automatically solve gravel, slopes, steps or an unsuitable pallet.

Read our tail-lift and pallet-truck guidance.

Timed deliveries and urgent haulage

A booked warehouse receiving slot in Erith, a factory shutdown or a construction delivery needs more than an arrival postcode. Send the booking reference, goods entrance, vehicle limits, loading method and a contact who can accept the load.

Urgent rigid or artic capacity can be assessed by our team. It does not carry the van collection estimate. Vehicle positioning, loading time, traffic, site appointments and applicable driver-hours limits determine the plan. UK, Ireland and European freight may also need ferry and goods-document arrangements.

Local work. Different requirements.

Transport shaped
by Bexley.

Bexley brings together the local activities below. Named organisations establish sector context, not Synergix customers or approvals. The examples explain the goods, handling and handover details needed for a transport enquiry.

Erith and Belvedere

Riverside industry and distribution

Bexley’s industrial studies identify Belvedere, Erith, Crayford and Foots Cray employment areas. For a current collection, confirm the actual operating business and unit rather than relying on an older estate description.

Send loaded footprints, individual weights, stacking limits and the receiving slot. Agree the body and forklift, dock or other equipment at both ends. A planning designation does not identify a goods gate, suitable lorry approach or current occupier.

Sidcup production

Beverage supplies and maintenance parts

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners identifies Sidcup as a beverage manufacturing hub. Packaged stock, packaging supplies and a replacement production part each need their own transport plan.

Give product, packaging, quantities and receiving appointments. For food or drink freight, specify condition, temperature and any handover records. A named manufacturer establishes local sector context, with no Synergix customer relationship implied.

Crayford precision engineering

Aerospace and defence supply-chain context

GASE Engineering’s own site identifies its Crayford factory and precision work for sectors including aerospace and defence. Protected components or assemblies can require careful identification and handover.

Provide packed dimensions, weights, orientation, part references and authorised release and receipt contacts. Declare controls or security requirements before acceptance. This local context does not establish Synergix clearance, accreditation or authority to carry every controlled consignment.

Borough town centres

Retail stock and project deliveries

A Bexleyheath display delivery, Welling shop transfer or Sidcup business collection needs the actual receiving point and usable access. Bulky stock can require more space than its weight suggests.

Include internal handling distance, steps, goods lifts and any agreed two-person placement. For repeat work, send frequency and normal and peak volumes, with returns. Warehousing, cross-docking and retail distribution can be considered with the transport arrangement.

Local context: Riverside industry and distribution.

The last mile matters

Routes, loading
& site access.

An A2 approach or a riverside estate address does not settle the final delivery. Town-centre controls, service entrances, industrial gates and the actual lorry combination need checking together.

Bexley loading signs and zones

Bexley’s current guidance distinguishes yellow waiting lines from kerb loading marks. Some restricted areas use entry signs without yellow lines. Check the exact signs, bay conditions and suspensions before arranging the handover.

There is no universal permission to unload beside a shop. Obtain the actual service entrance, lawful loading point and receiving contact. Council parking and loading guidance.

Industrial yards and the final unloading point

For Erith, Belvedere, Crayford or Foots Cray freight, confirm the unit, gate, yard size, vehicle limit and receiving appointment. Send photographs for tight entrances or uneven ground.

A forklift at collection does not establish one at delivery. Check the whole movement from vehicle to final receiving point, including slopes, kerbs and handling distance. Larger vehicles and specialist equipment require separate access and availability assessment.

Vehicle permits and London lorry controls

The operator must check the allocated lorry against TfL’s HGV safety-permit scheme and London Councils’ lorry-control requirements. Their scope depends on the vehicle and route.

Legal road access, a receiving appointment and space to unload are separate checks. HGV safety permits and London lorry controls.

The complete route and unloading point

London emissions and road-user charges need checking for the actual vehicle, date and journey. A compliant vehicle still needs a lawful approach, suitable turning room and an agreed loading point. TfL emissions guidance.

Describe the ground, slope, kerb, doors and final placement. A tail lift lowers goods; it does not move a pallet over gravel or steps. Send site photographs where useful and identify the person who can accept the goods.

Check official major-road conditions for the job date. Notify us promptly about changed gates, delayed releases or missed appointments so timing, equipment and price can be reassessed.

A useful enquiry. A clearer quote.

Tell us the job.
We will help plan it.

  1. The two addressesCollection and delivery postcodes, company/unit names, goods entrances and a contact at each end.
  2. What needs movingGoods description, item or pallet count, packaged dimensions, total and individual weights, stackability and photographs where useful.
  3. When it is readyDate, ready time, latest arrival, goods-in closing time and any booked slot or reference. Identify fixed deadlines.
  4. How it will be handledForklift, dock, tail lift, pallet truck, crane or crew at both ends. Include surface, aperture and vehicle-access limits.
  5. Any special requirementFragile finish, temperature, regulated goods, multiple stops, returnable packaging, returns or agreed final placement.
  6. Updates and repeat workYour preferred contact, delivery evidence and, for regular transport, frequency, expected volumes and seasonal peaks.

What affects the price?

Vehicle positioning, loaded distance, vehicle/body type and time at collection and delivery all contribute. Waiting, additional stops, handling equipment, extra labour, route charges and a return journey can alter the quote.

For ferry or European work, route timing and goods-document requirements also matter. We quote the actual movement; there is no single Bexley mileage price that fits every load.

What happens if something changes?

Tell us promptly about an extra pallet, heavier item, delayed release, changed entrance or missed slot. We can reassess the vehicle, deadline and cost before an unsuitable arrangement causes a problem.

An enquiry is the start of the conversation. Vehicle allocation, timing, handling and price are confirmed for the booking.

Before you book

Bexley transport
questions answered.

Courier, timing and delivery

How quickly can you collect in Bexley?

A van collection may be possible in around 45 minutes, subject to the address, goods and a suitable available vehicle. Call with the ready time and deadline for an estimate. Lorries, refrigerated vehicles and specialist equipment need their own availability and positioning check.

Can you deliver from Bexley elsewhere in the UK today?

It may be possible, depending on when the goods are ready, loading time, vehicle position, road conditions and the receiver’s latest acceptance time. Give us both addresses and the actual deadline. We assess the complete movement before confirming a plan.

Will my dedicated courier delivery stay on the same vehicle?

A dedicated courier movement normally stays on the same vehicle between the agreed collection and delivery points, without a parcel-network sorting hub. Tell us about additional stops, a return collection or any unusual route requirement so the arrangement is clear before booking.

Can I call at night, at weekends or on bank holidays?

Yes. Our phones are answered 24/7/365. Call to discuss the movement and confirm the suitable vehicle, handling and receiving arrangements. Someone must be available to release the goods and accept them at the proposed times.

How will I know the goods have been delivered?

Live tracking and electronic proof of delivery are available. Agree the updates and receiving evidence you need when booking, including any named-recipient, signature, photograph or delivery reference requirement.

What happens if collection is delayed or the delivery slot changes?

Contact our team promptly. A later release, changed receiving slot or additional waiting can affect the vehicle, driver schedule, arrival plan and cost. Give us the new ready time and receiver’s instructions so we can reassess the movement.

Haulage, vehicles and handling

Do I need a courier or a haulage service?

Start with what needs moving and the deadline. An urgent component, parcel or suitable pallet may need a dedicated courier. Heavier freight, larger volumes, specialist bodies or repeat work may need a haulage arrangement. Send the load details and we will help you choose.

Can you arrange dedicated pallet transport in Bexley?

Yes, we assess dedicated pallet movements with the vehicle, collection and delivery agreed for the job. Send the loaded footprint, height, individual weights, quantity, stackability and unloading arrangements. Synergix does not offer pallet-network services.

Can you arrange full loads, part loads and regular haulage?

We can discuss full loads, regular work and supported part-load arrangements. The collection window, delivery plan, body, loading method and availability must suit the job. A part-load enquiry is assessed individually; it is not a pallet-network product.

How do I choose the right van or lorry?

Measure each item as it will travel, including packaging, the pallet and any overhang. Give the quantity, individual and total weights, stackability and any orientation limit. We check the actual load space, aperture, working payload, equipment and site access. Vehicle gross weight is not cargo payload.

Can I use LoadCheck before asking for a quote?

Yes. Enter packaged dimensions, item weights and quantities for an initial vehicle-size estimate. Send the result with your enquiry. LoadCheck does not confirm actual vehicle fit, restraint, loading equipment, payload, availability or a booking.

Open LoadCheck

What if the receiving site has no forklift?

Tell us before booking. A suitable tail lift, mounted forklift, crane or agreed handling crew may be an option, but they solve different problems. We need the item weights, dimensions, fork access or lifting points, surface and final placement. Equipment does not come with every vehicle.

When must I request an electric pump truck?

Under Synergix’s booking rule, request an electric pump truck when pallet-truck handling is required for an individual loaded pallet weighing 800 kg or more. Lighter pallets can need powered handling too. Check the lift and platform capacity, footprint, all weight on the platform, ground and handling method. The threshold is not automatic proof of safe handling.

Do goods need packaging for a dedicated journey?

Yes, they need packaging suitable for the goods and the planned handling. A dedicated vehicle does not remove the risk of movement during loading and travel. Protect fragile surfaces, sharp edges and delicate equipment; tell us about upright-only, non-stackable or special restraint requirements.

Can you provide refrigerated transport or event refrigeration?

We can assess both, with the product, temperature and handover requirements agreed. Refrigerated road transport moves goods under an agreed temperature arrangement. Stationary event refrigeration provides storage at a venue. Explain which you need, the duration, access and any power requirement.

Bexley access and local handovers

Can you arrange dedicated pallet transport from Erith or Belvedere?

We assess dedicated transport against the loaded footprint, overhang, height, individual and total weights, ready time and receiving window. Confirm forklifts, docks or a suitable agreed tail lift at both ends. The vehicle, handling and actual access are checked for the job.

What details matter for precision engineering deliveries from Crayford?

Send protection and packaging, packed dimensions and weights, orientation, part references and handover paperwork. Name the people authorised to release and accept the goods. Declare actual security or controlled-goods requirements before acceptance. Local defence-sector activity does not establish Synergix approval or site clearance.

Can a Bexleyheath shop delivery use a yellow line for loading?

Only after checking current signs, kerb loading marks, bay conditions, suspensions and a safe position. Waiting and loading controls differ, and some restricted areas use entry signs. Agree the shop’s receiving entrance and lawful handover. A yellow line is not automatic permission.

How do I choose a vehicle for Bexley haulage?

Send the complete packaged load, individual weights, loading method and both addresses. Include gate widths, turning space, vehicle limits and unloading ground. LoadCheck can help with an initial estimate; our team confirms the actual vehicle body, usable space, payload and equipment.

Price, booking and ongoing work

What affects the price of a Bexley courier or haulage job?

Vehicle positioning, route distance, body and vehicle type, waiting, unloading, handling equipment, additional stops and the deadline affect the quote. Give accurate load and site details. Tell us about changes before dispatch so we can explain any effect on the arrangement or price.

What information do you need to book?

Send both full addresses and goods entrances, contact details, ready time and latest delivery time, item quantities, packaged dimensions, individual and total weights, stackability and loading equipment at both ends. Include access restrictions, references, photographs and any special handling or temperature requirement.

Can you discuss regular deliveries, warehousing or two-person work?

Yes. Give your usual route, frequency, volumes, receiving windows and seasonal peaks. Warehousing, cross-docking, retail distribution and agreed two-person delivery can be considered as part of a wider arrangement. Storage location, handling scope, availability and commercial terms are agreed separately.

Does sending an enquiry confirm my booking?

No. An enquiry starts the discussion. The vehicle, collection and delivery plan, handling, price and booking acceptance must be confirmed. A generated enquiry reference or LoadCheck result does not establish vehicle allocation or successful email delivery.
