The trailer, positioned for your stock.
Refrigerated trailer hire
Refrigerated trailer hire for suitable static stockholding at your event or business site. We arrange delivery and agreed positioning, leave the booked unit for the hire period and collect it afterwards. Confirm the actual space, temperature capability, stock access, supply and operating responsibilities around your goods and site. Hire is separate from refrigerated transport.

What Synergix provides
Hire refrigerated space, not just a refrigerated journey.
The service supplies a suitable refrigerated trailer for static holding during an agreed period. Delivery positions the equipment for use and collection removes it after the booked hire. The actual unit, stock loading/access, operating conditions and supply are confirmed before the booking. Refrigerated transport moves goods between addresses; partner cold storage holds goods at a separately agreed facility. Tell us which arrangement your stock needs.
The details which change the job
How you will use the space.
The practical guide below explains the details for each requirement.
- Event and festival hire
- Business and seasonal hire
- Space and access specification
- Collection and handback
Festivals, events and venues
Keep suitable stock on site through build-up, live operation and breakdown. Send equipment delivery, required-ready, stock-clearance and collection dates, not only public opening times. Gate passes, site contacts and the approved position are part of the movement plan.
Business peaks and temporary capacity
Discuss suitable extra stockholding for a busy period, planned maintenance or a facility interruption. Explain the goods, incoming condition, peak quantity and likely duration. Confirm availability before relying on the unit; immediate deployment or an unlimited extension is not assumed.
Specify the configuration
Choose the unit around actual packed volume/weight, required conditions and how stock will be handled. Door openings, loading height, floor layout, shelving and airflow can change useful capacity. Ask for the agreed unit specification and accessories rather than treat a standard artic's figures as a fridge-hire specification.
The wider Synergix fleet
All vehicles. The right equipment for your job.
Our wider fleet supports different transport and unloading requirements. This overview is not a promise that every configuration performs this service. We match the actual vehicle, body, usable capacity and equipment to the load and receiving site.

Match the handling to the job
A HIAB is a loader crane for an assessed lift or placement. A MOFFETT carries an unloading forklift for suitable loads at sites without receiving equipment. Standard-body dimensions and payload do not apply automatically to fitted equipment or refrigerated configurations. Confirm the actual load, ground, access and handling arrangements.
Our booking rule: when pallet-truck handling is needed for an individual loaded pallet weighing 800 kg or more, request an electric pump truck. Check the actual equipment and lift/platform capacity, surface, gradient, distance and access. Lower weights can also need powered handling.
How the work happens
Specify the unit, book the period, agree the handover.
A usable hire connects stock requirements, equipment, site movement and the period of responsibility.
Confirm the requirement
Agree goods, conditions, peak stock, actual unit/usable capacity, loading/access and availability.
Book scope and site
Set delivery/ready/collection windows, position, route/standing area, supply, accessories, price and responsibilities.
Deliver and hand over
Position as agreed and confirm operating/access instructions, contacts and the required ready condition before stock is loaded.
Use and review the hire
Follow agreed stock/supply/checking duties. Report faults or changed requirements and seek approval for a move or extension.
Clear and collect
Remove stock and prepare the unit for the booked handback. Keep collection access clear and agree any delay, condition or additional work.
Hire operation and stock access
Agree the contents responsibilities as well as the trailer.
Hiring equipment does not automatically provide a stock attendant or warehouse inventory service.
Loading and daily access
Confirm cartons, kegs, pallets or other handling units, weights, opening/height, layout and any loading aids. Name who receives/removes goods and controls the key or access arrangements. Shelves, steps, ramps, cables, locks and other accessories are included only as specified.
Operation and handback
Agree ready-to-load condition, instructions, supply/consumption/refuelling, checks/records, fault contact and any continuity arrangement. Confirm emptying, cleaning/condition, access and collection responsibilities, with extensions or delays agreed promptly.
Separate Northampton warehouse holding
Stock received into our Northampton warehouse receives individual labels or barcodes and assigned locations in our warehouse management system (WMS). A static unit left at your site does not automatically include that process or establish chilled warehouse conditions. Partner cold storage is a separately agreed option.
Agree the important details
What changes the arrangement.
A useful quote starts with the constraints, not just a product name or vehicle size.
01
Check the whole site movement
Confirm vehicle route, turning room, entrance dimensions, overhead clearance and ground. The standing area must suit the actual unit. Positioning close to a bar or doorway is subject to safe access and equipment checks.
02
Make the operating brief explicit
Agree set point, starting stock condition, power or fuel, operator instructions, checks and emergency contact arrangements. Remote alarms, staffing and backup equipment must be confirmed separately.
03
Separate trailer and contents cover
Declare the stock value and requirements. Hire conditions, trailer risks and stock cover are not interchangeable with insured transport. Confirm the applicable responsibilities and cover before accepting the quote.
First hire? Build the brief from four dates and the actual stock.
Separate the dates
State delivery, required-ready-for-stock, end of stock use and collection. Include any start-up allowance, event gate windows, handover contact and time to clear goods. If an exact ready time matters, discuss it before booking rather than assume arrival means instant use.
Get product and site information
Ask the goods supplier for storage/starting-condition instructions and packing data. Ask the venue or power provider for available supply, connection/location and operating times. Send quantities, external sizes/weights, a site plan/photos and route/standing restrictions. Mark unknowns for review.
Confirm what the quote supplies
Check actual internal and overall sizes, loading/access method, suitable conditions, included accessories and power/fuel arrangement. Name who loads stock, secures the unit, checks operation and responds to a fault. Agree what must be empty, clean and accessible at handback.
An event weekend is not the whole hire window
For example, stock is needed on Friday afternoon for a weekend event, but the site allows equipment delivery only on Thursday and collection on Monday. The hire plan must include positioning, supply/start-up and handover before the stock is needed, then clearance and access for Monday collection. Ask for the complete period and movement costs, including any changed gate window or extension. Illustrative only, not a customer case history.
Practical detail for each requirement
Event and festival hire
Give delivery and collection windows as well as the dates the stock must be held. Include site accreditation, gate contacts and any build-up or breakdown restrictions. A festival ticket or site name is not enough to plan a trailer movement.
Business and seasonal hire
Describe the stock, peak space and expected loading pattern. Discuss hire length and possible extension early. Available units and dates must be confirmed; no unlimited fleet capacity, universal minimum hire or fixed tariff is promised.
Space and access specification
Pallet count alone is not a full capacity assessment. Provide packed sizes, gross weights, access aisles and loading method. Refrigeration equipment and the actual trailer configuration affect usable space and payload.
Collection and handback
Agree how the trailer must be emptied, made accessible and handed back. State any likely site delay or extended requirement promptly. Cleaning, damage, consumables and collection changes are matters for the agreed hire terms, not assumptions.
Why Synergix?
A practical hire plan from positioning to collection.
Static refrigeration and event/transport experience help make the booked space usable for your operation.
An established static hire offer
Synergix provides static fridges with delivery, agreed positioning and later collection. The unit and booked period are matched to the stockholding, not treated as a normal haulage booking.
Planning around event operations
We support major event operators and understand that gate windows, site services and breakdown dates matter alongside the event itself. Give the actual site plan so the equipment movement can be assessed.
Stock and handover kept central
The quote and handover define what the equipment provides and what the site team does. Clear loading, supply, checks and collection responsibilities help avoid important tasks being left between suppliers.
Family transport experience
Three generations of family transport experience support practical decisions about equipment movements and site access. Actual refrigeration capability, available equipment and hire terms are still confirmed for the job.
A useful brief for a useful quote
Send the stock, site and complete hire window.
We will confirm the specific unit, availability, scope and price. If a key detail is unknown, flag it so it can be checked.
Stock requirement
Goods/incoming condition, required conditions, packed quantities/sizes/weights, peaks and loading/access.
Site and supply
Postcode, gate/contact, route/standing area, restrictions, available connection/power/fuel and operating hours.
Full hire window
Delivery, ready-for-stock, end of use, clearance/collection and any likely extension.
Commercial and operation
Accessories, nominated operators/checks/fault contacts, goods value, cover, supplier approval and repeat needs.
Email your brief to sales@synergixsameday.com. Confirm the equipment and booking before loading stock.
For buying teams and repeat bookings
Compare a specified unit
Internal/overall dimensions, doors/loading height, actual capacity and temperature capability matter. Confirm shelving/loading aids, locks, cables and other equipment. Use the specified hire unit, not the vehicle illustration, to confirm suitability.
Separate hire, contents and transport risks
Confirm the applicable hire terms, equipment responsibilities, damage/loss and stock cover, including any condition-loss requirement. Insured transport does not automatically insure contents throughout a static hire.
Price the whole booking
Include the actual period, delivery/positioning/collection, site restrictions/waiting, accessories, supply/fuel, cleaning/handback and extensions or changes. Confirm minimum periods, deposits, cancellation and payment terms in the quote and hire agreement.
Agree continuity and repeat work
Define supply/check duties, reporting contact, response procedure and any agreed backup. Share programme dates, peaks, purchase-order and supplier-approval needs. No automatic remote monitoring, repair attendance time or immediate replacement is promised.
Before you book
Refrigerated trailer hire questions.
Practical answers about the service and what to agree.
Is hire different from refrigerated delivery?
Yes. In hire, a suitable trailer is delivered and left for an agreed period, then collected. Refrigerated haulage carries stock on a booked journey. Explain which service you need and whether warehouse holding is also involved.
What size trailer can I hire?
Tell us the packed stock dimensions, quantities, gross weights and loading method. We confirm the actual unit, usable capacity and site fit. Standard artic dimensions are not automatic fridge-trailer specifications.
Can we extend the hire?
Ask as soon as the requirement changes. Availability, price and collection plans must be agreed. The original booking does not guarantee that the same unit can remain indefinitely.
Can you place it anywhere on the event site?
Placement must be agreed for the actual route, standing area, ground and equipment. Send site photographs or plans where useful. Tight access, soft ground or overhead restrictions can prevent a proposed position.
Is warehouse stock management included?
Not automatically. Our warehouse WMS identifies and locates stock received in Northampton. A trailer left at your premises has separately agreed operating and stock-handling responsibilities.
What temperature can the hire unit provide?
Give the goods' required conditions and starting condition, including any frozen or specialist requirement. The actual unit's suitability/range and operating plan must be confirmed. There is no universal set point or automatic freezer/regulated-stock acceptance on this page.
What power or fuel does it need?
This depends on the specified unit and site. Confirm the actual connection, supply capacity/location, cables, fuel/consumption and who maintains them. Do not assume a domestic plug, generator, cable length or backup is included.
How will staff reach the stock?
Explain the handling units, weight, loading method, frequency and route. Confirm door openings, access/loading height, working layout and any steps, ramp, shelving or handling equipment required. The illustration does not establish those features.
Can it chill warm stock quickly?
Do not assume rapid chilling. Declare incoming product condition, quantity and required conditions so suitability and loading can be assessed. Equipment start-up time and product chilling are different questions.
What is included in the hire price?
Ask for the full period and specified unit/accessories plus delivery, positioning and collection. Confirm supply/fuel, extra handling, waiting/site restrictions, cleaning/handback, damage, cancellation and extension terms. No fixed tariff or standard minimum is assumed.
Are trailer and stock insurance the same?
No. Declare goods/value and confirm applicable equipment, contents and condition-loss responsibilities and cover. Transport insurance does not automatically define the risks during static hire.
What happens if cooling or power fails?
Agree the contact, operating checks, supply duties, fault response and stock-continuity plan before booking. Report issues through that route. Remote alarms, fixed response times and automatic replacement require explicit confirmation.
