A document available from an authorised contact

A passport left at home can be collected when an authorised person is present and ready to release it. We organise direct transport from that address to the agreed recipient, with the collection and handover planned around the useful arrival time.

Confirm the document has actually been located and identify who will hand it over. The recipient’s current location and telephone contact are as important as the collection address. Use suitable secure packaging and explain any building access needed to complete the exchange.

A document ready with a hotel, office or representative

A hotel, workplace or representative may be holding the original document while its owner is elsewhere. We organise collection from that holder once release has been agreed, then take it to the intended recipient or other authorised receiving contact.

Make the release arrangement with the holder before booking the journey. Their opening hours, identification process and named contact affect when collection can complete. A courier arrival alone does not give authority to take property that the holder has not agreed to release.

Agree release with the holder and provide their name, reference and opening hours. The location’s own identification and authority checks still apply. We do not obtain release merely by arriving with a van.

A recipient waiting at an agreed public meeting point

An agreed handover at an airport, station or another public meeting point can help a traveller receive a document where they are actually waiting. We plan the movement around a specific accessible location, named recipient and reachable contact.

Give the terminal or station details and the public meeting point rather than only the broad destination. Parking, access and the traveller’s own movements affect the handover. The delivery plan must fit those practical conditions and does not imply access to a restricted area.

A document collection permitted by the issuing body

Some existing documents can be collected from an issuing or holding body by an authorised person under its own instructions. Where that release is permitted, the transport needs to follow the relevant appointment, authority and identification arrangements.

Check the holder’s current requirements and tell us exactly what must accompany the collection. The service moves a document that the body agrees to release; it cannot change an issuance decision or waive a collection condition. Keep that official process separate from courier availability.

Visas and other existing travel documents

Existing visas and other original travel documents may need to move from an authorised holder to the person who needs them. We organise the declared transport around the document type, releasing contact and receiving arrangement.

Describe what needs to travel without sending unnecessary sensitive scans in a general enquiry. Explain any particular permission or identification process at collection and the final deadline. A document movement does not include making a visa decision, processing an application or obtaining a new official document.

A document journey arranged ahead of travel

A known document journey can be arranged before the final hours preceding travel. We organise the release date, collection and receiving window in advance, connecting the people who hold and need the original document.

Start with when the document becomes available and where the recipient will be at delivery. Build the transport plan around those actual arrangements, including office hours or travel handovers. If the document is still subject to an official process, make that status clear before a collection is committed.

Where the need is known, book the release date, contacts and receiving window ahead. Allow practical time for the holder’s travel arrangements rather than leaving every step to the final departure cut-off.

Several travellers’ documents

Several existing passports or travel documents can form one protected consignment for an agreed recipient. We organise collection and handover around the people authorised to release and receive the complete set.

Confirm the count and identification method without exposing unnecessary personal information. State whether all documents share the same recipient or need separate authorised handovers. Each holder’s release requirements still apply.

Supporting papers with an existing passport

An existing passport may need to travel with related prepared papers to an agreed recipient. We organise the movement of the declared document pack, keeping the transport separate from the official or professional process it supports.

Describe the pack sufficiently to establish its size and handover requirements, without sending sensitive scans unnecessarily. The sender should secure and identify the complete set. Checking an application, selecting evidence and obtaining official acceptance are not included automatically.

Business travel document packs

A business or authorised representative may hold existing travel originals needed by a traveller elsewhere. We organise release from that holder and delivery to the agreed recipient, following the actual office and travel timetable.

Identify the release contact, recipient and accessible meeting point. Confirm the documents are available and the holder permits collection. Courier availability cannot determine a visa or passport decision or guarantee release from an authority.

Return to an authorised holder

After an appointment or other use, an existing document may need to return to its owner, office or authorised representative. We organise that separately described collection and delivery around the document’s actual availability.

Agree who can release and receive it, with office hours and secure suitable packaging. A return is not automatically included in the outward journey. If release depends on an official process, establish the holder’s instructions before committing collection.
