Chilled stock held where you need it.
On-site chilled storage
On-site chilled stockholding using a suitable static refrigerated unit. We arrange delivery and agreed positioning, leave the unit for the booked period and collect it afterwards. Plan what will be held, how staff will reach it, usable capacity, product conditions and site services. Confirm the actual equipment and operating responsibilities before stock is loaded.

What Synergix provides
Chilled holding space where the stock will be used.
A suitable refrigerated unit can provide temporary static holding for your event or business stock. Delivery puts the equipment in its agreed position; the main purpose is the stockholding during the hire. We plan the unit and handover around the goods, required conditions, access pattern and site. Your team’s loading, stock use and operating duties are agreed explicitly. This is not automatically refrigerated transport, rapid chilling or a staffed cold-store service.
The details which change the job
How you will use the space.
The practical guide below explains the details for each requirement.
- Festival and event reserves
- Temporary business overflow
- Delivered, positioned and left
- Controlled access to stock
Festival and event drinks reserves
Suitable drinks, kegs and packaged event stock can need chilled holding behind the service operation. Explain opening quantities, incoming replenishment, the busiest access periods and how stock reaches the bar or catering area. The unit must suit the actual goods and working pattern, not just fit the first delivery.
Catering and venue requirements
Tell us exactly what products need holding, their supplier's storage instructions and incoming condition. Different products and packaging may need different arrangements. Acceptance, separation, loading layout and checks are confirmed for the chosen unit. Hiring refrigeration alone does not approve the stock or your food-handling process.
Temporary business stockholding
Discuss suitable extra capacity during planned peaks, maintenance or an existing-facility problem. Share dates, urgency, site constraints and stock condition. Availability and suitability must be confirmed. An urgent request does not mean immediate equipment is guaranteed or that stock outside its required conditions can be recovered.
The wider Synergix fleet
All vehicles. The right equipment for your job.
Our wider fleet supports different transport and unloading requirements. This overview is not a promise that every configuration performs this service. We match the actual vehicle, body, usable capacity and equipment to the load and receiving site.

Match the handling to the job
A HIAB is a loader crane for an assessed lift or placement. A MOFFETT carries an unloading forklift for suitable loads at sites without receiving equipment. Standard-body dimensions and payload do not apply automatically to fitted equipment or refrigerated configurations. Confirm the actual load, ground, access and handling arrangements.
Our booking rule: when pallet-truck handling is needed for an individual loaded pallet weighing 800 kg or more, request an electric pump truck. Check the actual equipment and lift/platform capacity, surface, gradient, distance and access. Lower weights can also need powered handling.
How the work happens
Agree the holding, position the unit, hand it over and collect.
Plan the start and finish around when the goods need suitable conditions, not only the event dates.
Confirm goods and equipment
Agree products/conditions, peak space, access/loading, actual unit, hire dates, operating scope and quote.
Plan and position
Confirm the site route, suitable standing area, supply and authorised contact. Deliver and position the booked equipment as agreed.
Complete the handover
Explain the agreed operation, supply/controls, stock-access arrangements and response contact. Confirm the required ready-to-load condition before loading.
Use the holding as agreed
The nominated team manages stock and the booked checks/supply responsibilities. Report changed conditions, quantities, faults or access needs through the agreed route.
Clear stock and collect
Agree final stock removal, handback condition and clear collection access. Review any extension or changed site/timing before the booking ends.
Stock access and operation
The unit is on site. Who controls the stock?
Equipment hire and warehouse stock management are different services. Agree the site handover and responsibilities around the actual working arrangement.
Your stock and access
Name who receives, loads, removes and secures goods, how references/quantities are recorded and who may enter the unit. Agree any additional stock-handling service. Do not assume a Synergix attendant, item picking or a warehouse inventory process is included.
Your operating plan
Agree the chosen conditions, ready-to-load point, operating instructions, checks and recording required, who maintains the supply and the contact if something changes. Remote logging, alarms, constant attendance and automatic replacement are not assumed.
Separate Northampton warehouse holding
Stock received into our Northampton warehouse receives individual labels or barcodes and assigned locations in our warehouse management system (WMS). A static unit left at your site does not automatically include that process or establish chilled warehouse conditions. Partner cold storage is a separately agreed option.
Agree the important details
What changes the arrangement.
A useful quote starts with the constraints, not just a product name or vehicle size.
01
Confirm power or fuel
Discuss the actual unit and supply requirements before booking. State what the site can provide and who maintains it. Do not assume a domestic socket, generator, fuel allowance or backup supply will be suitable or included.
02
Protect the operating space
Allow for safe access, loading and the refrigeration equipment requirements. Keep the planned route and standing area available. Surface, gradient, overhead restrictions and ground conditions need checking.
03
Define monitoring and response
Agree set-up, temperature checks, operating instructions and who responds if power or cooling is lost. Logging, alarms, remote monitoring and automatic emergency replacement are not assumed.
Plan the working day, not just the opening load.
Describe the stock and its conditions
List goods, packed quantities/sizes/weights, starting temperature or condition and required storage instructions. Ask the product supplier if these are unknown. Explain warm deliveries, mixed products or frozen requirements before booking. Do not choose a generic set point as a substitute for the product requirement.
Explain staff access and replenishment
Say who loads and removes stock, how often doors are used, whether cartons/kegs/pallets are handled and what equipment or stock layout is needed. Check actual doors, floor/access height, shelving, working route and usable space, including the equipment supplier's airflow/loading requirements.
Send the site and supply details
Provide postcode, gate/contact, delivery route, entrance/overhead limits, turning/standing area and photographs or a plan. Ask the venue/site electrician or power provider for the available supply details. Confirm the actual unit's connection, power/fuel and backup needs rather than assuming a domestic socket or generator is suitable.
A drinks reserve used throughout an event
For example, a bar needs suitable chilled stock from Friday afternoon through Sunday, with staff taking stock out repeatedly and a supplier replenishment on Saturday. Plan delivery, positioning and any start-up time before the first stock is needed; check the incoming condition, peak stock layout and access route. Name the person responsible for agreed checks and the response if power or cooling is lost. Plan final stock clearance before collection. Illustrative only, not a customer case history.
Practical detail for each requirement
Festival and event reserves
Hold suitable chilled stock behind a bar, catering operation or agreed service area. Forecast peak volume and replenishment patterns. Frequent door opening, warm arrivals and stock rotation affect the operating requirement, so describe the working day rather than just the opening stock count.
Temporary business overflow
A suitable unit can be discussed while existing facilities are busy or unavailable. Give the goods and required conditions, duration and site constraints. An urgent enquiry is not confirmation of immediate capacity or acceptance of stock already outside its required conditions.
Delivered, positioned and left
We arrange the booked trailer delivery, agreed positioning and later collection. Confirm access, standing area and who can authorise placement. The unit must be suitable for the ground and location; do not assume it can be moved after positioning without a new plan.
Controlled access to stock
Nominate who loads, unloads and operates the unit during hire. Agree door security, stock handling and any temperature checks. A trailer left on site does not automatically include a Synergix attendant or continuous stock management.
Why Synergix?
Static refrigeration planned around stock and site.
Synergix combines event and transport experience with a clear equipment-hire and operating plan.
An established static offer
We provide static fridges and arrange their delivery, agreed positioning and later collection. The equipment and period are confirmed for the actual stockholding requirement.
Event experience
We regularly support major event operators. Understanding build-up, live operation and breakdown helps identify the access and timing questions that matter before a refrigerated unit arrives.
Practical site planning
One discussion can connect the unit, delivery access, standing position, stock loading and collection requirements. The site still needs to suit the actual equipment.
Family transport knowledge
Three generations of family transport experience inform practical conversations about equipment movements and access, while the product and unit requirements remain specific to the job.
Clear responsibilities during hire
An agreed handover identifies the site contacts, stock access, supply and operating/checking responsibilities. Knowing who acts is especially important when several event teams share the site.
A different option when needed
If on-site equipment is not the right arrangement, we can discuss cold storage through our partners. Confirm the facility, conditions, stock access and handling separately. Partner cold storage takes place at the agreed facility, not in our Northampton warehouse.
A useful brief for a useful quote
Tell us what will be held and how the site will use it.
Send product instructions, peak stock and a site brief. We will confirm the actual equipment, scope, availability and price.
Goods and conditions
Products, packaging, quantities/weights, incoming condition, required range and any specialist acceptance needs.
Daily stock use
Peak space, replenishment, door use, loading method, desired layout and staff stock-access route.
Site and services
Gate/contact, route/standing area, restrictions, available supply, operational/checking and response contacts.
Dates and commercial scope
Delivery/ready dates, hire period, clearance/collection, extensions, value/cover and regular supplier requirements.
Email your brief to sales@synergixsameday.com. Confirm the equipment and booking before loading stock.
For buying teams and repeat bookings
Confirm the specific equipment
Obtain the agreed usable space, door/loading access, conditions and supply specification. Shelving, steps, ramps, locks, cables, generator/fuel and other accessories must be confirmed for that unit, not assumed from a photograph.
Assign the operating duties
Name who loads stock, maintains the supply, follows instructions and carries out any required checks/records. Agree response contacts and fault procedure. A static unit is not automatically monitored by Synergix or backed by an immediate replacement guarantee.
Compare the complete hire
Include period, delivery/positioning/collection, site restrictions, accessories, supply/fuel, extra handling, cleaning/handback and changes/extensions. Ask what is included and what changes the price rather than compare headline space alone.
Agree assurance and continuity
Declare goods/value and supplier-approval needs. Confirm equipment/contents responsibilities, applicable terms and cover separately from insured transport. Discuss the actual continuity plan and what happens if the site or stock requirement changes.
Before you book
On-site chilled storage questions.
Practical answers about the service and what to agree.
Do you leave the refrigerated trailer on site?
Yes, for the agreed hire period. We deliver, position it as agreed and collect it afterwards. Site access, conditions and operating responsibilities must be confirmed before the booking.
Do you supply electricity or fuel?
The actual power or fuel arrangement is agreed for the specified unit and site. Tell us what is available. Supply, consumption, refuelling and backup responsibilities must be clear in the hire scope.
Can it cool stock which arrives warm?
Do not assume that. Tell us the incoming product temperature, quantities and required conditions. We must confirm unit suitability and the operating plan; storage is not automatically a rapid chilling process.
Is frozen storage included?
This page is about an agreed chilled-storage requirement. Frozen goods, different temperature ranges and specialist products require explicit suitability confirmation and must not be assumed accepted.
Does on-site stock use your warehouse WMS?
Stock received into our Northampton warehouse receives an individual label or barcode and assigned WMS location. A trailer left at your site does not automatically include that warehouse process or a staffed inventory service.
How will our staff load and access the stock?
Describe cartons, kegs or pallets, their weight, the handling method, frequency and route to the point of use. We must confirm actual door/opening dimensions, floor/access height, layout and any equipment required. Do not infer walk-in steps, a ramp, tail lift or attendant from a general trailer illustration.
Will it be ready to load immediately on arrival?
Agree delivery and start-up before the goods need holding. Connection, operating conditions and the actual unit affect when it is ready. Confirm the required ready-to-load condition and instructions; an arrival time is not a universal chilling-time promise.
What happens if cooling or power is lost?
Agree the reporting contact, checks, supply responsibility and fault/stock-response plan before hire. Report changes promptly through that route. Do not assume remote alarms, automatic replacement or that stock can remain acceptable after a loss of conditions.
Can the unit be moved during the event?
Do not plan a move without agreement. A changed position requires the actual route, ground, services and equipment to be reassessed. Keep the booked delivery and collection area accessible.
Could partner cold storage be a better fit?
We can discuss cold storage through partners if holding away from your site is more suitable. Confirm facility conditions, goods acceptance, access/releases and any transport separately. This is different from a unit left on your site.
On-site chilled storage
Useful chilled space starts with the stock and the site.
Send the goods, working pattern, dates and site services. We will agree the static holding and handover.
