Timed deliveries before the event opens
Event build-up delivery.
Arrive in the right sequence.
Bring opening stock, equipment and site infrastructure into the event in the order the build needs it. Synergix plans collections and delivery slots around accreditation, prescribed access routes, unloading resources and the point where the goods need to be handed over or positioned.

Event build-up delivery
Transport that follows the order of your build.
Build-up delivery brings stock, production equipment and infrastructure into the event before it opens. We plan timed collections and arrivals so the right load reaches the team ready to use it, from early site works to the final opening stock.
Infrastructure before the site fills up
Fencing, toilets, trackway and containers may need to arrive while there is still room for large vehicles and unloading equipment. We plan the movement around that build stage, including specialist positioning where it is part of the booking.
Production kit and displays for the next stage
Staging components, production equipment and displays need to reach the correct receiving area as the build progresses. A planned load sequence helps the site team access the items it needs first without unloading everything to find them.
Opening stock when the bar can receive it
Drinks, bar equipment and other stock can follow once the receiving area is ready. We can arrange separate deliveries for different parts of the site, or several runs where a single large arrival would be difficult to receive.
Delivery and placement are different jobs
We can arrange transport to an unloading point or assess HIAB and MOFFETT work for agreed placement. A HIAB lifts from the vehicle; a MOFFETT is a carried forklift that can unload suitable goods and move them to an accessible position.
Who it helps
Who needs build-up transport?
Choose the situation that fits your job. These examples explain how the service can help your team.
Organisers and site-production teams
Bring loads in as each area becomes ready. Early infrastructure, production equipment and opening stock have different dependencies and cannot always use the same receiving area.
Infrastructure and equipment hire firms
Deliver fencing, trackway, toilets, containers or other equipment while the route and unloading area remain accessible. Identify any lifting or positioning task in the booking.
Production and display contractors
Coordinate packed staging components, production cases and displays with the build crew. A clear loading order can make the materials needed first accessible on arrival.
Drinks and stock suppliers
Bring opening allocations and bar equipment in when stock areas can receive them. Several timed loads can be discussed where one large arrival would overwhelm the receiving team.
Practical scope
Build-up loads we transport.
Open a category for the load, timing and handling details that matter.
- Fencing, trackway and toilets
- Containers and positioned loads
- Drinks, bar equipment and stock
- Staging, production equipment and displays
Fencing, trackway and toilets
Send bundle sizes, weights, loading method and the delivery sequence. Confirm preparation and condition for portable facilities. Transport does not automatically include installation, servicing or commissioning.
Containers and positioned loads
For a HIAB container movement, provide the container’s actual weight and dimensions, lifting points, proposed crane standing position and required placement. Reach, ground support, overhead hazards and access must be assessed.
Drinks, bar equipment and stock
Identify product quantities, filled weights, packaging and the receiving allocation. Agree whether the handover is at the vehicle, a loading area or a separately planned placement point.
Staging, production equipment and displays
Pack and label components for their destination and sequence. Give case measurements, total weights, stacking restrictions and any items needing individual handling. Technical installation and stand construction are not assumed.
Vehicle selection

How it works
From booking to handover.
Plan collection, site entry and handover together.
- Brief the job
Send the goods, route, dates and latest event instructions. Include the deadline and any return movement.
- Agree the plan
We check vehicle availability, handling, access, timing and price, then confirm the booked scope.
- Collect and deliver
Goods are loaded and secured, then moved against the agreed route and site window. Changes go through the team.
- Complete the handover
Confirm the recipient, unloading or placement point and any exception. Tracking/POD arrangements and return work follow the booking.
Access, unloading and completion
Plan the gate, the route and the unloading.
The exact delivery point and responsibilities are agreed before the vehicle arrives.
Reserve the right slot
Provide event-specific booking instructions, build dates, vehicle type, access form and accreditation. Confirm who obtains the slot and gives the final instructions to the transport team.
Use the prescribed route
Send the correct gate, approach route, marshalling procedure and vehicle restrictions. Turning room, height, weight and ground conditions determine whether the proposed vehicle can reach the unloading point.
Have the site ready
Arrange a recipient, clear unloading space and the booked handling equipment. Tell us about other contractors, exclusion areas and any sequence that prevents unloading until earlier work is complete.
Agree completion
A van drinks delivery can finish when goods are taken off the back. A HIAB container job can finish after agreed positioning and acceptance. MOFFETT goods can be placed as agreed. State the endpoint when booking.
Weekday build, with loads arriving as the site develops.
Festival build-up commonly happens during the week. Fencing, access surfaces, infrastructure, production equipment and stock do not all need the same receiving area or delivery time. We plan each movement around the actual programme, including waiting or another run where agreed.
People, equipment and ground
A HIAB is a loader crane for a planned lift and placement. A MOFFETT is a truck-mounted forklift for suitable goods and access routes. They are different unloading options. Supply load weight, dimensions, lifting or fork requirements, travel distance and ground details. The actual equipment, reach and safe working area must be confirmed.
Planning your booking
Putting a delivery into the build programme
Start with what the receiving team needs and when its area will be ready. The transport slot follows that working plan.
List loads by build stage
Record each supplier, goods, packaged size and weight, ready time and destination area. Mark which load must arrive before another task can start. Ask suppliers for packing lists rather than estimate from the finished structure.
Obtain the current site plan
Send the authorised HGV approach, gate, internal route, height/weight restrictions, accreditation and delivery slot. The build route may change as fencing, trackway and structures go in.
Identify the unloading method
Say whether the site provides a forklift, loading crew or other equipment. A HIAB is a vehicle-mounted crane; a MOFFETT is a carried forklift. Both need an assessment of the load, working space and ground for the actual placement.
Set a change contact
Nominate someone who knows whether the site is ready and can approve revised instructions. Give the supplier and driver a workable release and receiving plan, including any later collection.
Protect the space needed to unload
A load can arrive at the right time and still be unable to unload if the standing area or route has been occupied. Coordinate the delivery with the team controlling the build. Send the required final position and surrounding hazards for an assessed lift, and report changes to ground, access or reach before the vehicle travels.
Why Synergix?
Event experience before the first visitor arrives.
Synergix moves the drinks, equipment and infrastructure behind major live events. Our festival work regularly uses HIABs and MOFFETTs as well as vans, trucks and customer trailer movements.
Nationwide courier, haulage and specialist capability, with real operational support 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
A build needs more than a vehicle booking
We understand delivery slots, accreditation, site forms, prescribed routes and busy unloading areas. We use the build programme to plan each arrival with the people and equipment receiving it, helping avoid a load turning up before its part of the site is ready.
The right unloading method from the outset
Container placement and pallet unloading require different equipment. Our event experience helps identify when a crane, carried forklift or site handling team is needed, so the receiving plan is built into the transport rather than discovered at the gate.
National reach, with the right vehicle for the job
A dedicated vehicle can take your booked load directly to the agreed destination. Nationwide capacity supports local collections and longer UK or European movements. For urgent UK courier work, collection within 60 minutes is available for many bookings, subject to location and availability.
Tracking, proof of delivery and people who act
Live tracking helps your team coordinate the receiver, and proof of delivery records the completed handover. Registered customers can book jobs, track drivers and check proof of delivery through our customer portal. Our operations team supports the work 24/7/365 and responds when access, timings or instructions change. Agree any specific reporting requirements when booking.
Fully insured transport, with the load understood
Your equipment and stock matter to the event. Our fully insured transport is arranged against the goods, their value and the booked service, with applicable cover confirmed before collection. Specialist or high-value requirements are discussed up front so you know the arrangement you are buying.
Three generations of transport experience
Synergix is an independent family business built on three generations in transport. That experience informs the vehicle choice and planning, while the people managing your job remain accountable for it. You can reach the team making decisions when the event programme changes.

Coverage, timing and price
We arrange build-up transport across the UK, with European events planned against the route, documents and venue schedule. Reserve larger vehicles and specialist handling early. Price depends on the load, vehicle, route, slots, waiting, repeat runs and positioning requirements. Any change to sequence or access should be shared promptly.
Buying the service
Buying event build-up delivery for your business
Use the same clear brief for the quotation, site team and purchasing team. Agree the transport scope and responsibilities before the vehicle is committed.
Compare the complete quotation
Compare the planned loads and runs, route, vehicle, arrival windows and unloading or placement. Identify site waiting, additional runs and specialist lifting separately. A quote to an unloading point differs from one including an assessed lift or forklift placement.
Agree visibility and changes
Live tracking and proof of delivery are available. Specify your receiving contacts and reporting needs, and name the person authorised to change the booking. Our real operational team is available 24/7/365 when timing or access changes. A POD records the agreed handover; it does not certify installation or operation.
Supplier approval and repeat work
For a build programme, share a dated load schedule with supplier ready times, site dependencies and people authorised to change the sequence. Send supplier-approval and insurance requirements to the team before work starts. Applicable cover is confirmed for the goods, their value and the booked service. Purchase orders, invoicing, account terms, supporting documents and any extra reporting need individual agreement.
Read our standard trading terms and confirm the quoted service, charges and applicable cover before booking.
Event build-up delivery
Questions before you book.
Practical answers about this service and your event requirements.
Can we book build-up deliveries in advance?
Yes. Send the programme, load details and provisional slots early. Final vehicle access and handling instructions need confirming before the movement.
Who books the venue delivery slot?
We agree that responsibility with you. Some events use a vehicle booking system, others issue their own instructions. Send the current procedure and the confirmed slot details.
Can you deliver several loads during the build?
Yes, where arranged. Provide the load split, collection release times, site sequence and unloading capacity for each visit.
Can you position a container with a HIAB?
We regularly use HIABs for festivals. The load, lifting points, required reach, crane standing area, ground and surrounding hazards need assessing for the specific job.
Can you unload where there is no site forklift?
A MOFFETT or other agreed unloading option may suit the load and site. Confirm weights, dimensions, access, surface and the required final position before booking.
Does build-up delivery include building the stand or stage?
The core service is transport and agreed unloading or placement. Stand construction, staging assembly and technical installation are not automatically included.
Can the driver wait until the area is ready?
Waiting may be arranged, subject to the site rules and vehicle schedule. Tell us the expected delay. Changes can affect the price and subsequent runs.
Can opening drinks stock be delivered separately?
Yes. Plan stock against receiving readiness, quantities and conditions. Include a named bar or stock contact and the unloading arrangement.
What if the access route or slot changes?
Contact the team with the event’s revised instructions. We reassess the route and timing and confirm the next workable arrangement.
Can you arrange the breakdown collection too?
Yes. Supply the likely return load, date, readiness time and destination. Build and breakdown access procedures may differ, so confirm both sets of instructions.
What if we only have a provisional build slot?
Send the programme and provisional window early. Tell us what remains unconfirmed and when the organiser will issue final access. Vehicle timing and the final plan need confirmation against the actual slot and receiving readiness.
Can you deliver equipment before our crew arrives?
Only with an agreed authorised receiving and unloading arrangement. Name the site contact or appointed handler and confirm where the goods will be accepted. Do not assume the organiser will receive an unattended load.
