01 / Same-day & dedicated courier
Deeside courier.
A direct delivery.
If a missing component is holding up production, an event is waiting for its equipment or a customer needs stock today, call with the actual deadline. We arrange dedicated collection and delivery between the agreed points, without a parcel-network sorting hub.
Urgent business consignments
Documents, engineering parts, samples, tools, print, boxed stock and IT equipment can all need a dedicated courier. The smallest suitable vehicle depends on the packaged goods, not the label “parcel”. Send the quantity, dimensions and weights.
A server, delicate prototype or finished component needs packaging that protects it during loading and travel. Tell us if it must stay upright, cannot be stacked or needs a named recipient.
Pallets and bulky items
Courier work can include a suitable pallet or bulky consignment. We check the vehicle aperture, usable space, payload and unloading method. A pallet does not automatically fit a van just because it fits on the floor.
For heavier loads, several pallets or specialised unloading, see the haulage guidance. You can enquire without choosing the lorry first.
How quickly can we collect?
A Deeside van collection may be possible in around 45 minutes, subject to the address, goods and a suitable available vehicle. Call for an estimate for your actual job. A rigid, artic, refrigerated body or specialist handling arrangement needs its own availability check.
Collection speed is only part of the plan. Tell us when the goods will be released, how long loading will take and the receiver’s latest acceptance time. A component released at a Deeside Industrial Park unit for a Midlands production deadline needs the order ready, gate procedure and receiving contact confirmed. Loading and site check-in matter alongside road travel.
Deeside collections and onward UK delivery
A replacement component, tool, crated assembly or urgent stock order can need a dedicated journey from a Deeside operating site. We assess local collections and onward UK deliveries with the actual goods-ready time and recipient confirmed. Give the business, unit or department and the contact who can release the goods.
Deeside Industrial Park, Shotton, Sandycroft, Sealand and nearby Broughton have separate gates and procedures. Send the full address, goods entrance, release reference, appointment and any pass or escort requirements. Describe protective cases, individual weights and special conditions so the complete journey includes loading and check-in.
Updates, proof of delivery and repeat work
Our team remains your contact for the movement. Live tracking and electronic proof of delivery are available; agree any named-recipient, signature, photograph or reference requirements when booking.
We also assess scheduled supplier collections, branch transfers, multi-stop work and repeat courier routes. Phones are answered 24/7/365. The vehicle, crew and access at each end are confirmed for the booking.
02 / General & dedicated haulage
Deeside haulage.
Planned around the load.
For dedicated pallet transport, heavier engineering freight or a regular trailer movement, Synergix arranges the vehicle and driver around your load, handling and receiving requirements. Options include 7.5t, 18t and 26t rigids, full artics and suitable specialist configurations.
Dedicated pallet transport
Tell us the actual loaded footprint, height, weight and whether the freight can be stacked. A nominal pallet size does not include a crate, machine or packaging that projects beyond it.
We arrange a dedicated vehicle for your palletised goods, with collection, delivery and loading agreed for your job. Our team coordinates the movement and remains your point of contact. Tell us about fragile freight, specific handling or a timed delivery when booking.
Full loads, part loads and repeat work
A full vehicle can support larger consignments, stock transfers, production schedules and loads needing dedicated capacity. Agree the body, floor space, payload and loading order.
Part-load haulage can also be discussed where a suitable arrangement is available. Agree its collection window, delivery plan and handling before booking. For regular work, send your collection frequency, usual volumes, busy periods, site opening hours and return-load requirements.
Choose the body as well as the lorry size
Box and curtainsider
A box body uses its specified door opening and loading arrangement. A curtainsider can allow suitable forklift loading from the side. Check clear aperture, side access and restraint; curtains alone are not a universal load-securing system.
Flatbed, crane and mounted forklift
Long material, machinery or a delivery without a forklift may need a different body or handling method. A HIAB-type crane and MOFFETT-type forklift do different jobs. Supply load weights, lifting points or fork access, required reach and site photographs.
Temperature-controlled loads
Specify the product, required temperature, collection condition, packaging and monitoring or handover records. A refrigeration unit changes the vehicle specification; confirm its actual payload and space.
Articulated and specialist trailers
Curtainsider, box, refrigerated, flatbed and specialist trailer requirements are assessed individually. A long or heavy item needs its full dimensions, weight distribution and loading plan checked. The illustrated range does not establish suitability for every load.
Getting it off matters just as much
Confirm a forklift, loading dock, tail lift or other agreed equipment at both ends. For a tail-lift delivery, we need the individual item weight, footprint, all weight on the platform, permitted handling method, load centre and the surface beyond the lift.
When pallet-truck handling is needed for an individual loaded pallet weighing 800 kg or more, request an electric pump truck. This is Synergix's booking requirement. Lower weights can also need powered handling. A tail lift and pallet truck do not automatically solve gravel, slopes, steps or an unsuitable pallet.
Timed deliveries and urgent haulage
For packaged steel products, manufacturing supplies, industrial equipment or repeat stock in Deeside, send the loaded footprint, individual weights, stackability and protection requirements. Confirm each goods gate, the full approach, turning space, appointment and loading equipment. Dedicated, full-load and supported part-load arrangements are assessed against the actual body space, restraint and unloading plan.
Urgent rigid or artic capacity can be assessed by our team. It does not carry the van collection estimate. Vehicle positioning, loading time, traffic, site appointments and applicable driver-hours limits determine the plan. UK, Ireland and European freight may also need ferry and goods-document arrangements.
Local work. Different requirements.
Transport shaped
by Deeside.
Deeside’s manufacturing and industrial sites span automotive, coated steel, paper development and defence electronics, with nearby Broughton aerospace activity. Each operating site and load needs its own goods gate, release reference and receiving plan.
Automotive manufacturing
Deeside engine-plant components and tooling
Toyota identifies its Deeside Engine Plant on the industrial park, with machining and assembly activity. Its October 2026 plant news provides current manufacturing context.
For components, tools, protective cases or other properly described equipment, give the actual supplier or department and release reference. Confirm the goods gate, ready time, appointment and receiving contact. Send packaged dimensions, weights, fragility and cleanliness conditions. Plant geography does not establish supplier status or a Synergix customer relationship.
Nearby aerospace manufacturing
Broughton is its own receiving destination
Airbus’s September 2026 announcement describes wing manufacturing at Broughton and conversion work for an A321 line. Broughton is a separate destination from Deeside Industrial Park, with its own site procedures.
Give the exact goods, protective packing, individual weights, release reference and receiving building. Confirm passes, escorts, inductions and appointments with the recipient. State value and any classification or security conditions before acceptance. Current and prospective production activity should not be treated as automatic access, airside permission or clearance.
Coated steel and construction supply
Shotton materials with load-specific handling
Tata Steel describes Shotton Works in Deeside as manufacturing metallic-coated and pre-finished steel for building and other applications. Coils, packaged sheets, fittings and equipment can each require different bodies and loading methods.
Send the actual packaged footprint, individual weights, orientation and protection requirements. Explain racks, edge protection, stackability and restraint. Confirm forklift or lifting access, turning space and unloading at the receiver. Specialist coil handling or lifting equipment must be discussed for the actual job, rather than inferred from general haulage.
Paper-site development and supply
Shotton Mill project and commissioning handovers
Shotton Mill’s current operator information describes development and commissioning on Weighbridge Road in Deeside Industrial Park. Its future production capacities should not be treated as proof that every planned line is operating.
For a supplier, contractor or receiving-team enquiry, give the actual compound or goods gate, purchase or release reference and appointment. Describe packaged parts, materials, machinery and individual weights. Confirm lifting, site induction, vehicle limits and unloading. Explain classification or other special conditions before acceptance.
Defence electronics and equipment support
MOD Sealand named gates and appointments
The current GOV.UK source identifies DE&S Deca as a defence electronics and equipment maintenance, repair and upgrade operating centre. Its head office is at MOD Sealand on Welsh Road in the Deeside Enterprise Zone.
Give the actual department, authorised recipient, release reference and site delivery instructions. Confirm passes, escorts, appointment and goods gate directly with the receiver. Describe protective packaging, value, classification and security conditions before acceptance. The site’s presence does not establish Synergix clearance or approval for controlled consignments.
Leisure, retail and commercial premises
Queensferry equipment, stock and event materials
Gwella’s current facilities information includes Deeside Leisure Centre and the ice arena. Shops, businesses and other facilities across Queensferry, Shotton and Connah’s Quay can have different stock and equipment handovers.
Name the actual premises, service door, recipient and delivery slot. Give packaged sizes, individual weights, fragility and final placement. Explain doors, lifts, steps, carry distance and any two-person need. Include event breakdown, returns or packaging collection. Public opening hours and customer parking do not establish goods access.
Local sector context: Toyota Deeside plant and Current Airbus Broughton context and Shotton Mill development and Current DE&S Deca site information and Current Gwella facilities. Named organisations provide local context, not claims of Synergix customers.

Routes, loading
& site access.
Use the actual operating address across Deeside and nearby sites. A broad enterprise-zone name is not a goods entrance. Agree the suitable approach, gate procedure, vehicle limits and unloading, with current road and project information checked for the movement.
A494, A55 and cross-border connections
The A494 and A55 connect Deeside with North Wales and the English motorway corridor. The suitable approach still depends on the actual goods gate, vehicle and receiving instructions.
Check Traffic Wales and Flintshire roadworks information. Confirm signed height, width, weight and access limits. Current incidents and the complete vehicle route matter more than a general industrial-park postcode.
River Dee bridge project information
Welsh Government publishes the A494 River Dee bridge project, including prospective milestones and scheme documents. A published programme or older temporary order does not establish a continuous closure on the delivery day.
Check current restrictions, signed diversions and the receiver’s acceptable route before dispatch. Allow the agreed gate, loading and receiving appointment to inform the schedule. Do not assume a planned replacement, road improvement or station is already available.
Industrial-park units and large operating sites
Name the business, unit, zone and actual goods gate. Confirm when the order is released, any purchase or release reference, gatehouse contact and appointment. Explain passes, inductions, escorts and vehicle restrictions.
Send the loaded footprint, individual weights, stackability and whether loading is from the rear, side or by lifting. Confirm turning space, surfaces and unloading equipment. A shared estate address does not establish body suitability, restraint or permission for every approach.
Sealand, Broughton and commercial handovers
MOD Sealand and nearby Broughton have their own operating addresses and access procedures. Queensferry leisure, retail and other premises also need an actual goods entrance rather than the public reception.
Obtain the receiver’s current instructions and authorised contact. Confirm security conditions, appointment, legal unloading space, doors, lifts, carry distance and final placement. Arrange two-person help or lifting separately where needed. Sector names and visitor parking should not replace the actual delivery plan.
Confirm the last few metres
Describe the ground, slope, kerb, steps, loading bay and final placement. Photos help with a narrow yard or awkward entrance. A tail lift lowers goods; it does not move a pallet over gravel, up steps or through a doorway.
Deeside and surrounding areas
Where is your
collection?
We assess collections and deliveries across Deeside and the surrounding area, with onward UK transport. These groups help describe the job. They are coverage areas, not Synergix branch locations or fixed service boundaries.
Deeside industrial and commercial sites
Deeside Industrial Park, Shotton, Connah’s Quay, Queensferry, Garden City and Sandycroft enquiries.
Give the actual unit, business, full postcode and goods gate. These coverage areas are not Synergix branch locations.
Sealand and nearby receiving destinations
Sealand, Hawarden, Mancot, Broughton, Ewloe and nearby Flintshire sites.
Separate destinations and controlled sites retain their own access, classification and appointment requirements.
Onward North Wales and UK movement
Enquiries can include Chester, Wrexham, Liverpool, Manchester, the Midlands, the North Wales coast and other UK destinations.
The available vehicle, full route, load, gate procedures and receiving deadline determine the arrangement.

What affects the price?
Vehicle positioning, loaded distance, vehicle/body type and time at collection and delivery all contribute. Waiting, additional stops, handling equipment, extra labour, route charges and a return journey can alter the quote.
For ferry or European work, route timing and goods-document requirements also matter. We quote the actual movement; there is no single Deeside mileage price that fits every load.
What happens if something changes?
Tell us promptly about an extra pallet, heavier item, delayed release, changed entrance or missed slot. We can reassess the vehicle, deadline and cost before an unsuitable arrangement causes a problem.
An enquiry is the start of the conversation. Vehicle allocation, timing, handling and price are confirmed for the booking.

Before you book
Deeside transport
questions answered.
Courier, timing and delivery
How quickly can you collect in Deeside?
A van collection may be possible in around 45 minutes, subject to the exact address, goods and a suitable available vehicle. Call with the ready time and delivery deadline for an estimate. Lorries, refrigerated bodies and specialist equipment need their own positioning and availability check.
Can you deliver from Deeside to another part of the UK on the same day?
It may be possible, depending on when the goods are released, loading time, vehicle position, distance, road conditions and the receiver’s latest acceptance time. Give us both addresses and the actual deadline. We assess the complete job before agreeing the delivery plan.
What can a dedicated courier carry?
Courier work can include documents, parts, samples, print, IT equipment, technical cases, boxed stock and suitable bulky or palletised goods. Give the packaged dimensions, quantities and individual weights so we can assess the vehicle, loading and receiving arrangements.
Will a dedicated courier load stay on the same vehicle?
It normally stays on the same vehicle between the agreed collection and delivery points, without a parcel-network sorting hub. Tell us about extra stops, returns or unusual route requirements so the arrangement is clear before booking.
Can I call at night or at the weekend?
Yes. Our phones are answered 24/7/365. Call to discuss the load and confirm a suitable vehicle and plan. Someone must be available to release the goods and accept them at the agreed times.
How will I receive delivery updates and proof of delivery?
Live tracking and electronic proof of delivery are available. Agree the updates and evidence you need when booking, including a named recipient, signature, photograph or delivery reference.
Haulage, vehicles and unloading
Do I need a courier or a haulage arrangement?
Start with the goods and deadline. An urgent part, technical case or suitable pallet may need a courier. Heavier freight, larger volumes, specialist bodies or repeat loads may need haulage. Send the load and site details and we will help you choose.
Can you arrange dedicated pallet transport in Deeside?
Yes, we assess dedicated pallet movements with collection, delivery and a suitable vehicle agreed for the job. Send the loaded footprint, height, individual weights, quantity, stackability and loading at both ends. Synergix does not offer pallet-network services.
Can you discuss full loads, part loads and regular deliveries?
Yes. Full loads, regular haulage and supported part-load arrangements can be discussed. Agree the body, loading, collection window and delivery plan. Part-load availability is assessed individually; it is not a pallet-network product.
How do I choose a van or lorry, and can LoadCheck help?
Measure each item as it will travel, including packaging, the pallet and overhang. Enter packaged dimensions, weights and quantities into LoadCheck for an initial size estimate. Our team confirms actual fit, usable payload, apertures, restraint, equipment, access and availability.
What if the delivery site has no forklift?
Tell us before booking. A suitable tail lift, mounted forklift, crane or agreed crew may be an option, depending on the goods and site. Send item weights, dimensions, fork access or lifting points, ground conditions and final placement. These handling methods solve different problems and must be agreed.
When must I request an electric pump truck?
Under Synergix’s booking rule, request an electric pump truck when pallet-truck handling is needed for an individual loaded pallet weighing 800 kg or more. Lighter pallets may also need powered handling. Platform load, footprint, ground and the actual equipment still need checking.
Can you assess a crane or mounted-forklift delivery?
Yes. Send the precise goods, individual weights, dimensions, lifting points or fork access, required placement and photographs of the unloading area. Crane reach and support conditions differ from forklift access. Suitability, equipment and availability are confirmed for the job.
Can you arrange refrigerated transport or event refrigeration?
We can assess both, with the product, required temperature and handover agreed. Refrigerated transport moves goods under an agreed temperature arrangement. Stationary event refrigeration provides storage at a venue. Tell us which you need, the duration, access and any power requirement.
Deeside access and local handovers
Can you collect from a controlled manufacturing site in Deeside?
Give the business, unit, goods gate, releasing contact and reference. Explain appointments, passes, induction, escorts and any vehicle limits. Send the packaged load and special conditions before acceptance. Site check-in and loading form part of the schedule, and the receiver’s current rules must be agreed.
Can you arrange a MOD Sealand delivery?
We can assess an enquiry with the actual department, authorised recipient, goods description and site instructions. Confirm the gate, appointment, passes or escorts directly. State classification, value, packing and security conditions before acceptance. The site’s local presence does not establish Synergix clearance or automatic acceptance of a controlled load.
Is Broughton the same collection address as Deeside Industrial Park?
No. Give the actual operating business, building, full postcode and goods gate. Nearby Broughton and Deeside Industrial Park are separate receiving destinations with their own site procedures. Confirm release and receiving appointments, packaged load and any security conditions before the movement is agreed.
What information is needed for steel products or a heavy industrial load?
Give individual weights and actual packaged dimensions, orientation, racks, protection and stackability. Explain loading from the side or rear, forklift or lifting access and restraint needs. Confirm the suitable approach, goods gates, turning space and receiving slot. Specialist coil equipment or lifting must be assessed for the actual job.
Can you collect for a supplier or contractor at Shotton Mill?
Give the actual compound or goods gate, supplier, release or purchase reference and site contact. Describe the packaged goods, individual weights and unloading equipment. Confirm induction, appointment and vehicle limits. Use current receiving instructions rather than assuming every planned production line is operating.
Can regular Deeside manufacturing collections be arranged?
Send the usual dispatch days, release times, destinations, typical loads and busy periods. Include site appointments, loading equipment, security procedures, returns and variable quantities. We assess an appropriate regular arrangement and confirm capacity, vehicle and receiving requirements before agreeing the work.
Can a Deeside collection reach the Midlands on the same day?
We assess the journey against the goods-ready time and receiver’s latest acceptance time. Call with both postcodes, the actual load and any strict appointment. Vehicle positioning, gate procedures, loading, traffic and applicable driver-hours limits form part of the plan. Availability and specialist equipment need separate checks.
Price, booking and changes
What affects the price of a Deeside courier or haulage job?
Vehicle positioning, route distance, body type, deadline, waiting, loading, extra stops, handling equipment and additional labour affect the quote. Send accurate goods and site details. We price the actual arrangement rather than applying one mileage rate to every load.
How do I book, and what happens if the job changes?
Request a quote or call with both addresses, packaged dimensions, individual and total weights, quantities, ready time, deadline, contacts and handling at both ends. We confirm the vehicle, plan and price for the booking. Tell us promptly about added goods, delayed release or a changed slot so we can reassess.
Can you discuss warehousing, retail distribution or two-person delivery?
Yes. Send the usual route, frequency, volumes, receiving windows and seasonal peaks. Warehousing, cross-docking, retail distribution and agreed two-person handling can be considered within a wider arrangement. Storage location, handling scope, availability and commercial terms are agreed separately.
