01 / Same-day & dedicated courier
Cwmbran courier.
A direct delivery.
If a missing component is holding up production, an event is waiting for its equipment or a customer needs stock today, call with the actual deadline. We arrange dedicated collection and delivery between the agreed points, without a parcel-network sorting hub.
Urgent business consignments
Documents, engineering parts, samples, tools, print, boxed stock and IT equipment can all need a dedicated courier. The smallest suitable vehicle depends on the packaged goods, not the label “parcel”. Send the quantity, dimensions and weights.
A server, delicate prototype or finished component needs packaging that protects it during loading and travel. Tell us if it must stay upright, cannot be stacked or needs a named recipient.
Pallets and bulky items
Courier work can include a suitable pallet or bulky consignment. We check the vehicle aperture, usable space, payload and unloading method. A pallet does not automatically fit a van just because it fits on the floor.
For heavier loads, several pallets or specialised unloading, see the haulage guidance. You can enquire without choosing the lorry first.
How quickly can we collect?
A Cwmbran van collection may be possible in around 45 minutes, subject to the address, goods and a suitable available vehicle. Call for an estimate for your actual job. A rigid, artic, refrigerated body or specialist handling arrangement needs its own availability check.
Collection speed is only part of the plan. Tell us when the goods will be released, how long loading will take and the receiver’s latest acceptance time. A production part released at Llantarnam for an afternoon assembly deadline needs the supplier's actual ready time and the receiver's latest acceptance time confirmed, rather than an assumption based on the road distance.
Cwmbran collections and onward UK delivery
A component for a manufacturer at Llantarnam, boxed stock for a town-centre shop or tooling released by a supplier can need a dedicated journey. We assess Cwmbran collections for local and onward UK delivery. Give the operating business, unit, goods entrance and a contact who can release the consignment.
For precision assemblies, aircraft-seat components or optical equipment, explain the transit packaging, any upright-only requirement and the named receiving team. An item that fits the van still needs suitable protection, restraint and handling. State any controlled-goods or secure-site conditions before the movement is accepted.
Updates, proof of delivery and repeat work
Our team remains your contact for the movement. Live tracking and electronic proof of delivery are available; agree any named-recipient, signature, photograph or reference requirements when booking.
We also assess scheduled supplier collections, branch transfers, multi-stop work and repeat courier routes. Phones are answered 24/7/365. The vehicle, crew and access at each end are confirmed for the booking.
02 / General & dedicated haulage
Cwmbran haulage.
Planned around the load.
For dedicated pallet transport, heavier engineering freight or a regular trailer movement, Synergix arranges the vehicle and driver around your load, handling and receiving requirements. Options include 7.5t, 18t and 26t rigids, full artics and suitable specialist configurations.
Dedicated pallet transport
Tell us the actual loaded footprint, height, weight and whether the freight can be stacked. A nominal pallet size does not include a crate, machine or packaging that projects beyond it.
We arrange a dedicated vehicle for your palletised goods, with collection, delivery and loading agreed for your job. Our team coordinates the movement and remains your point of contact. Tell us about fragile freight, specific handling or a timed delivery when booking.
Full loads, part loads and repeat work
A full vehicle can support larger consignments, stock transfers, production schedules and loads needing dedicated capacity. Agree the body, floor space, payload and loading order.
Part-load haulage can also be discussed where a suitable arrangement is available. Agree its collection window, delivery plan and handling before booking. For regular work, send your collection frequency, usual volumes, busy periods, site opening hours and return-load requirements.
Choose the body as well as the lorry size
Box and curtainsider
A box body uses its specified door opening and loading arrangement. A curtainsider can allow suitable forklift loading from the side. Check clear aperture, side access and restraint; curtains alone are not a universal load-securing system.
Flatbed, crane and mounted forklift
Long material, machinery or a delivery without a forklift may need a different body or handling method. A HIAB-type crane and MOFFETT-type forklift do different jobs. Supply load weights, lifting points or fork access, required reach and site photographs.
Temperature-controlled loads
Specify the product, required temperature, collection condition, packaging and monitoring or handover records. A refrigeration unit changes the vehicle specification; confirm its actual payload and space.
Articulated and specialist trailers
Curtainsider, box, refrigerated, flatbed and specialist trailer requirements are assessed individually. A long or heavy item needs its full dimensions, weight distribution and loading plan checked. The illustrated range does not establish suitability for every load.
Getting it off matters just as much
Confirm a forklift, loading dock, tail lift or other agreed equipment at both ends. For a tail-lift delivery, we need the individual item weight, footprint, all weight on the platform, permitted handling method, load centre and the surface beyond the lift.
When pallet-truck handling is needed for an individual loaded pallet weighing 800 kg or more, request an electric pump truck. This is Synergix's booking requirement. Lower weights can also need powered handling. A tail lift and pallet truck do not automatically solve gravel, slopes, steps or an unsuitable pallet.
Timed deliveries and urgent haulage
For palletised manufacturing stock, insulation products, heavier assemblies or repeat deliveries in Cwmbran, identify the unit, gate and booked receiving slot. Confirm each pallet or item's packaged footprint and weight, rear or side loading, available forklift or dock, and any handling equipment needed. Dedicated, full-load and supported part-load arrangements are assessed against the actual job.
Urgent rigid or artic capacity can be assessed by our team. It does not carry the van collection estimate. Vehicle positioning, loading time, traffic, site appointments and applicable driver-hours limits determine the plan. UK, Ireland and European freight may also need ferry and goods-document arrangements.
Local work. Different requirements.
Transport shaped
by Cwmbran.
Aircraft seating, defence optics, vehicle braking components, insulation manufacturing and retail create different transport requirements in Cwmbran. The packaging, weight, release time and receiving point determine how the goods should travel.
Aerospace at Llantarnam
Aircraft seating and prototype assemblies
Safran publishes aircraft-seat development and assembly activity in Cwmbran, with a Llantarnam Industrial Park location. Components, prototype assemblies and production tooling can call for careful protection and a handover to the correct engineering or goods-in team.
Send the packaged dimensions, individual weights and any need to remain upright. Explain transit cases, delicate finishes and lifting or fork access. Agree the actual release time and authorised recipient. The required vehicle and handling arrangements are confirmed for the goods.
Defence optics
Periscopes and precision equipment
Cwmbran-based GuS Periscopes describes the design, manufacture and repair of military periscopes and observation systems. Delicate optics and finished assemblies illustrate why the packaging and receiver's instructions matter, even when the load is relatively compact.
Give the precise goods description, protective packaging, value and handling conditions. State any controlled-goods, export or secure-access requirements before acceptance. Transport coverage does not establish Synergix clearance or a customer relationship, and permission for a particular handover must be agreed.
Vehicle component manufacturing
Brake parts, tooling and supplier stock
Cummins describes air disc brake production at its Cwmbran plant. Supplier components, replacement tooling and palletised production stock need different body space and loading arrangements from a small urgent part.
Provide the complete pallet or crate dimensions, weights and any overhang. Confirm fork pockets, lifting arrangements and the loading sequence. For a time-critical component, the supplier's release reference and the receiving team's availability can determine the delivery plan.
Insulation and construction supply
Bulky products and equipment
Knauf Insulation lists its Cwmbran plant at Pontyfelin Works in Croesyceiliog. Insulation products and manufacturing supplies can be bulky, while maintenance equipment or machinery may be heavy or awkward to handle.
Send the actual packed footprint, height, weight and stackability. Explain how the goods load and whether protection from the weather is needed. Space needed for securing the goods, door access and equipment remains part of vehicle selection, even for a relatively light load.
Town-centre retail
Store stock and display materials
M Cwmbran brings together town-centre shops and leisure businesses. Store replenishment, display fittings, promotional print and equipment may need a booked service-yard handover rather than arrival at a public shopping entrance.
Name the store, service entrance, receiving window and contact. Confirm pallet or trolley handling, carry distance, lifts and any two-person requirement. Include empty packaging or return collections where needed. Installation and assembly are separate arrangements to agree.
Springvale and local suppliers
Commercial units and repeat collections
Springvale and Llantarnam are established employment areas in the council's settlement assessment. Workshops, trade suppliers and commercial premises may need scheduled stock movements, supplier collections or maintenance deliveries.
For repeat work, describe the collection frequency, usual volumes, peaks, receiving slots and return-load requirements. Confirm the actual operating unit and entrance. A postcode or estate name alone may not identify the door or contact that will release the goods.
Local sector context: GuS Periscopes product and manufacturing context and Knauf Insulation plant locations and M Cwmbran visitor location information. Named organisations provide local context, not claims of Synergix customers.

Routes, loading
& site access.
Cwmbran's industrial units, retail service areas and residential approaches need different arrival plans. The A4042 and A4051 connect the wider area, but the receiving site's exact entrance and unloading arrangements remain essential.
A4042, A4051 and onward M4 movements
The A4042 links the Cwmbran area with Pontypool and Newport, while the A4051 serves local approaches including Croesyceiliog. For an onward M4 movement, allow for the actual collection, loading and receiving plan as well as current road conditions.
Check Traffic Wales and the site's recommended approach. Confirm signed limits and the assigned vehicle's dimensions and weight. A car-route suggestion or nearby main road does not establish a suitable HGV route to the final entrance.
Llantarnam and Springvale goods-in
Give the full business and unit details, goods gate, booking or release reference and receiving contact. A supplier's office entrance can be separate from its loading yard, even within the same industrial park.
Confirm rear or side access, dock or forklift availability, turning space and check-in instructions. Tell us about vehicle limits and loading appointments. Agree any tail lift or mounted-forklift requirement before dispatch rather than relying on equipment being available on arrival.
M Cwmbran retail receiving
The centre's published visitor directions locate the shopping destination, but do not establish a retailer's goods entrance or unloading permission. Ask the store or centre team for the service-yard approach and current receiving instructions.
Give the delivery slot, booking reference, contact and actual load. Explain pallet handling, carry distance and final placement. Customer parking, public pedestrian routes and shop opening hours are not substitutes for a delivery agreement.
Precision and controlled-site handovers
For aerospace, defence optics or another controlled destination, identify the department, releasing or receiving person and permitted handover point. Confirm the consignment is ready and the named team can accept it within the planned window.
Describe the goods accurately, including batteries, chemicals or any regulated or security conditions. The required acceptance and access arrangements are assessed before booking. Do not use an ordinary road collection as proof of airside access, export clearance or permission for a secure site.
Neighbourhoods and smaller premises
Croesyceiliog, Pontnewydd, Greenmeadow, Fairwater, Henllys and nearby areas include varied final approaches. A workshop, school, office or residential receiving point may have limited parking, narrow access or a carry from the vehicle.
Explain the entrance width, overhead clearance, ground, slope and turning space. Send photos where useful. Confirm steps, lifts and the final placement, along with who unloads. A tail lift cannot by itself move a pallet over gravel or up steps.
Ready times, works and receiving windows
A production collection, retail slot and multi-stop route each have a different timing constraint. Send the ready time and latest receiving time, allowing for loading, check-in and unloading.
Confirm current road and site information for the movement, including any works, gate changes or temporary access instructions. Our team assesses traffic, positioning and applicable driver-hours limits before agreeing the plan.
Confirm the last few metres
Describe the ground, slope, kerb, steps, loading bay and final placement. Photos help with a narrow yard or awkward entrance. A tail lift lowers goods; it does not move a pallet over gravel, up steps or through a doorway.

What affects the price?
Vehicle positioning, loaded distance, vehicle/body type and time at collection and delivery all contribute. Waiting, additional stops, handling equipment, extra labour, route charges and a return journey can alter the quote.
For ferry or European work, route timing and goods-document requirements also matter. We quote the actual movement; there is no single Cwmbran mileage price that fits every load.
What happens if something changes?
Tell us promptly about an extra pallet, heavier item, delayed release, changed entrance or missed slot. We can reassess the vehicle, deadline and cost before an unsuitable arrangement causes a problem.
An enquiry is the start of the conversation. Vehicle allocation, timing, handling and price are confirmed for the booking.

Before you book
Cwmbran transport
questions answered.
Courier, timing and delivery
How quickly can you collect in Cwmbran?
A van collection may be possible in around 45 minutes, subject to the exact address, goods and a suitable available vehicle. Call with the ready time and delivery deadline for an estimate. Lorries, refrigerated bodies and specialist equipment need their own positioning and availability check.
Can you deliver from Cwmbran to another part of the UK on the same day?
It may be possible, depending on when the goods are released, loading time, vehicle position, distance, road conditions and the receiver’s latest acceptance time. Give us both addresses and the actual deadline. We assess the complete job before agreeing the delivery plan.
What can a dedicated courier carry?
Courier work can include documents, parts, samples, print, IT equipment, technical cases, boxed stock and suitable bulky or palletised goods. Give the packaged dimensions, quantities and individual weights so we can assess the vehicle, loading and receiving arrangements.
Will a dedicated courier load stay on the same vehicle?
It normally stays on the same vehicle between the agreed collection and delivery points, without a parcel-network sorting hub. Tell us about extra stops, returns or unusual route requirements so the arrangement is clear before booking.
Can I call at night or at the weekend?
Yes. Our phones are answered 24/7/365. Call to discuss the load and confirm a suitable vehicle and plan. Someone must be available to release the goods and accept them at the agreed times.
How will I receive delivery updates and proof of delivery?
Live tracking and electronic proof of delivery are available. Agree the updates and evidence you need when booking, including a named recipient, signature, photograph or delivery reference.
Haulage, vehicles and unloading
Do I need a courier or a haulage arrangement?
Start with the goods and deadline. An urgent part, technical case or suitable pallet may need a courier. Heavier freight, larger volumes, specialist bodies or repeat loads may need haulage. Send the load and site details and we will help you choose.
Can you arrange dedicated pallet transport in Cwmbran?
Yes, we assess dedicated pallet movements with collection, delivery and a suitable vehicle agreed for the job. Send the loaded footprint, height, individual weights, quantity, stackability and loading at both ends. Synergix does not offer pallet-network services.
Can you discuss full loads, part loads and regular deliveries?
Yes. Full loads, regular haulage and supported part-load arrangements can be discussed. Agree the body, loading, collection window and delivery plan. Part-load availability is assessed individually; it is not a pallet-network product.
How do I choose a van or lorry, and can LoadCheck help?
Measure each item as it will travel, including packaging, the pallet and overhang. Enter packaged dimensions, weights and quantities into LoadCheck for an initial size estimate. Our team confirms actual fit, usable payload, apertures, restraint, equipment, access and availability.
What if the delivery site has no forklift?
Tell us before booking. A suitable tail lift, mounted forklift, crane or agreed crew may be an option, depending on the goods and site. Send item weights, dimensions, fork access or lifting points, ground conditions and final placement. These handling methods solve different problems and must be agreed.
When must I request an electric pump truck?
Under Synergix’s booking rule, request an electric pump truck when pallet-truck handling is needed for an individual loaded pallet weighing 800 kg or more. Lighter pallets may also need powered handling. Platform load, footprint, ground and the actual equipment still need checking.
Can you assess a crane or mounted-forklift delivery?
Yes. Send the precise goods, individual weights, dimensions, lifting points or fork access, required placement and photographs of the unloading area. Crane reach and support conditions differ from forklift access. Suitability, equipment and availability are confirmed for the job.
Can you arrange refrigerated transport or event refrigeration?
We can assess both, with the product, required temperature and handover agreed. Refrigerated transport moves goods under an agreed temperature arrangement. Stationary event refrigeration provides storage at a venue. Tell us which you need, the duration, access and any power requirement.
Cwmbran access and local handovers
Can you collect from Llantarnam Industrial Park?
We can assess the collection with the company, unit, goods entrance, release reference and ready time. Give the packaged sizes and weights and confirm who loads. For a prototype or finished assembly, explain protection, upright-only handling and the named receiver. The actual vehicle and collection time are agreed for the job.
Can you carry aircraft seating components or precision equipment?
Send the exact goods description, packaged dimensions and weights, transit-case details and any need to stay upright. Tell us about delicate finishes, value and agreed handling. Any secure-site or controlled-goods conditions must be explained before acceptance. A local aerospace or defence manufacturer does not establish Synergix approval or clearance.
What details are needed for a delivery to a Cwmbran shop?
Give the store, goods entrance or service-yard route, receiving window, booking reference and contact. Visitor directions and customer parking are not delivery permissions. Confirm the load, handling equipment, carry distance and final placement, with any return collection or two-person requirement agreed in advance.
Can a Cwmbran collection reach Bristol or London the same day?
We assess the complete journey against the ready time, loading, actual route and receiver's deadline. Call with both postcodes and the load, especially when the handover has a strict slot. A possible quick van collection is not a guarantee of arrival, and rigid or specialist availability needs its own check.
Can you arrange repeat supplier or store deliveries?
Yes, we can assess regular courier routes and haulage alongside one-off movements. Send the collection frequency, usual packaged loads, peak volumes, receiving slots, loading equipment and any returns. Agree whether the job is dedicated, multi-stop or a supported part-load arrangement, then confirm the plan for each site.
Do you have an office or drop-off point in Cwmbran?
This page describes transport coverage in Cwmbran and surrounding Torfaen areas. It does not represent a local Synergix office or customer drop-off facility. Request a quote or call 01782 911181 with your collection and delivery details so our team can assess the movement.
Price, booking and changes
What affects the price of a Cwmbran courier or haulage job?
Vehicle positioning, route distance, body type, deadline, waiting, loading, extra stops, handling equipment and additional labour affect the quote. Send accurate goods and site details. We price the actual arrangement rather than applying one mileage rate to every load.
How do I book, and what happens if the job changes?
Request a quote or call with both addresses, packaged dimensions, individual and total weights, quantities, ready time, deadline, contacts and handling at both ends. We confirm the vehicle, plan and price for the booking. Tell us promptly about added goods, delayed release or a changed slot so we can reassess.
Can you discuss warehousing, retail distribution or two-person delivery?
Yes. Send the usual route, frequency, volumes, receiving windows and seasonal peaks. Warehousing, cross-docking, retail distribution and agreed two-person handling can be considered within a wider arrangement. Storage location, handling scope, availability and commercial terms are agreed separately.
