Store delivery, replenishment & online retail logistics

Retail &
e-commerce.

Stock at the wrong warehouse, a store waiting to open or a customer order that needs more than a standard parcel service. Synergix connects supplier collections, warehousing, RDC-to-store distribution, urgent replenishment and agreed home delivery across the UK. We can handle one time-critical movement or plan the full delivery loop, including stock transfers and returns. Tell us what needs moving, the receiving requirements and when it must arrive.

The work behind your business

Keep stock moving to the place it can sell.

Retail transport works when the stock, store and receiving team are ready together. We build the delivery around the actual trading requirement.

Replenishment

From warehouse to the shop floor.

Arrange repeat RDC-to-store deliveries, supplier collections and stock transfers to support the replenishment cycle. Send the store list, volumes and receiving windows so each stop can be planned against the load and route. Include cages, hanging stock or pallets, and identify restricted loading bays or city-centre access. A coordinated schedule gives the dispatch and store teams a clearer handover than treating every movement as an unrelated collection.

Urgent stock

Recover a missed or delayed movement.

An item left behind at the warehouse or stock needed for a promotion can call for dedicated transport. We collect ready goods and drive them to the agreed store, warehouse or customer receiving point. Give us the latest useful arrival, the releasing reference and a contact who can accept the delivery. We confirm a realistic plan before dispatch, rather than assuming a fast collection alone resolves the entire deadline.

Projects & returns

Join the outward and return legs.

Store openings, refits and seasonal changes bring stock, display equipment and packaging in different quantities at different times. We can connect inbound movement, temporary storage, timed distribution and agreed return collections. Keep sellable stock, returns and fixtures identified separately. Where a project includes home delivery or a two-person service, agree the handling and completion requirement in advance so the right team and time are included.

Include pallets, crates, racks and packaging in the loaded size and weight. A long or fragile item can need space without much weight. Check door openings, payload, loading equipment and the receiving point. Conversions and specialist equipment can change useful capacity.

Goods, formats & destinations

Types of retail goods we transport

From shop-ready garments to bulky online orders, the goods determine the handling. These categories help us plan the right service.

  • Cartons & packaged stock
  • Palletised stock
  • Hanging garments
  • Bulky online orders
  • Displays & fixtures
  • Returns & reusable equipment
Retail cartons and replenishment stock

Move boxed merchandise between suppliers, warehouses, stores and agreed customer points. Provide the carton count, packed measurements and total weight, not just the quantity of products. Identify fragile, liquid or non-stackable goods. Label stock by destination and order so mixed loads remain clear when unloaded, especially when several stores share a planned route.

Pallets for warehouses, RDCs and stores

Dedicated pallet transport and general haulage can support larger stock movements. Include the pallet footprint, loaded height, weight and any overhang, together with the receiving slot and reference. Confirm whether the destination has a loading dock or forklift, or needs a tail-lift and suitable handling. We do not offer a pallet-network service.

Garments that need to stay on rails

Fashion stock may need hanging-rail capacity rather than cartons on the floor. Describe the garment quantity, rail space, protective covers and transfer arrangements. Specialist garment vehicles are booked for the job and availability is confirmed. Keep each store allocation identified so garments can be handed over without unnecessary resorting at the receiving point.

Furniture and larger home-delivery goods

Sofas, furniture and other bulky retail goods need more than a postcode and parcel label. Two-person delivery, room placement, assembly and agreed installation can be included where appropriate. Share the item size, packaging, access, stairs or lift details and required service. Acceptance and the handling scope are confirmed before a delivery is promised to your customer.

Store fixtures, displays and rollout materials

Display units, point-of-sale packs and shopfitting items can combine long panels, fragile finishes and several component cartons. Identify each store kit and include all packed dimensions. Agree delivery sequence, access and any two-person build support separately. A completed transport handover and a completed installation are different requirements and should be clear in the booking.

Returned stock, cages and packaging

Build return collections into a planned route or book a separate movement. Provide the return reference, condition, quantity and destination, including any empty cages or reusable packaging. Distinguish resale stock from damaged goods or waste. Consolidation or storage can be arranged to the agreed operation, rather than assuming everything can travel back without a pre-booking check.

Why choose Synergix?

Your stock.
Where it needs to be.

Fast response, the right transport and visibility through to the handover. Here is what those strengths mean for your team.

Rapid response

60-minute UK-wide courier collections.

Recover urgent replenishment and stock left behind before a store or customer loses another day. Send the ready time and deadline so we can confirm the collection window. Larger and specialist vehicles need a separate availability check.

Insured transport

Confidence in the goods you entrust to us.

Fully insured transport supports your retail stock movements. Declare the goods and their value before booking so the applicable cover and any additional arrangements can be confirmed for the service.

Delivery visibility

Live tracking and proof of delivery.

See the movement and confirm the handover through live tracking and live PODs. Registered customers can use the booking, tracking and POD portal, helping your team answer enquiries and close delivery records.

Dedicated courier

Your goods, driven direct.

Keep an urgent order together from its releasing warehouse to its named receiver. A dedicated courier vehicle is committed to the agreed job, reducing transfers and avoiding parcel-hub sorting. Planned multi-drop and haulage services follow their own agreed movement plan.

Connected support

One team for the wider operation.

Link supplier collections, Northampton warehousing and cross-docking, store delivery and returns under one plan. Our operations team supports live work 24/7/365 and acts on disruption, so a changed receiving window or delayed release has somebody managing the next step.

Proven experience

Practical knowledge behind the delivery.

Trusted by some of the retail industry’s largest companies, Synergix understands that delivery is part of the customer’s experience. Three generations of family transport experience inform the planning, handling and decisions behind the work. We combine that knowledge with national reach and a personal point of responsibility.

Courier collection timing is confirmed when booking, subject to location, load, vehicle, traffic and availability. Insurance cover follows the declared goods, value and agreed service.

Distribution

Regular routes and same-day recovery.

Use planned capacity for recurring work and dedicated courier transport when an individual stock movement becomes urgent.

Planned work

A route built around receiving windows.

Daily, weekly and project-based distribution can connect suppliers, warehouses and stores. Share volume patterns, opening hours and returns so route capacity includes the real work at each stop. We agree the schedule and reporting rather than impose a parcel delivery model on retail replenishment.

Urgent work

Direct delivery for a stock problem.

For a missed carton, short allocation or essential replacement, give us the ready time and deadline. The releasing team must have the goods available and the receiver must be able to take them. We confirm the suitable vehicle, collection window and journey before the movement is committed.

Goods-in detail

The right store entrance matters.

A postcode can cover a shopping centre, several units or a restricted service yard. Include the final receiving point.

Warehouse intake

References and stock identification.

Provide purchase-order numbers, booking references and any pallet or carton identification required by the receiver. Tell us about advance booking, permitted vehicle types and unloading arrangements. The retailer’s own receiving rules apply; a transport booking does not replace supplier or goods-in approvals.

Store handover

Plan beyond arrival at the kerb.

Identify the service entrance, store contact, permitted hours and any height or vehicle restriction. Say whether the handover is at the bay, inside the premises or part of a scoped two-person service. Waiting and assistance should be included in the plan, especially during store openings or refits.

Stock and customers

Connect storage with the next delivery.

Seasonal stock, bulky orders and returns often need a joined operation rather than a standalone vehicle.

Storage & cross-dock

Hold, transfer and distribute.

Our warehousing and cross-docking capability can connect inbound stock with onward transport. Discuss storage duration, product profile, dispatch frequency and stock visibility. Pick, pack and dispatch are scoped against the actual operation and systems required, rather than assumed as a standard platform integration.

Customer delivery

Agree the final service clearly.

For bulky goods, agree two-person handling, room placement, assembly or installation before customers are offered that service. Include access checks, contact arrangements, returns and packaging removal where required. We define what completion means so the seller and recipient have the same expectation.

A complete brief. A useful quote.

Tell us what, where

Answers before you book

Retail & e-commerce questions.

Practical answers about the goods, timing, handling, service and delivery arrangements.

Can you deliver from an RDC directly to stores?

Yes. Warehouse and RDC-to-store delivery is a core Synergix service. Send the store list, stock profile, receiving windows and return requirements so we can agree a regular route or project schedule.

Can you collect urgent replacement stock on the same day?

Yes. Dedicated courier transport can collect ready stock and drive it to the agreed receiver. Our UK-wide courier proposition offers 60-minute collections, with the actual window confirmed against the location, vehicle and job. Specialist capacity needs its own check.

Do you provide e-commerce parcel delivery?

We can support online retailers with dedicated courier, bulky-item delivery, storage and agreed fulfilment work. Tell us the order profile and delivery scope so we can agree the right service. Parcel tariffs and online-shop integration are separate arrangements to confirm.

Can you deliver to shopping centres and restricted stores?

Yes, where access and receiving arrangements are suitable and agreed. Provide the service-yard details, vehicle limits, permitted hours, booking reference and store contact. Tell us about permits or security procedures before dispatch.

Do you offer warehousing and cross-docking?

Yes. We can connect storage or cross-docking with onward distribution. Product handling, stock visibility, storage duration and dispatch requirements need to be scoped for the operation. Northampton is the established warehouse, retail and cross-dock base.

Can you handle pick, pack and dispatch?

Discuss the order profile, stock, volumes and systems with us. Pick, pack and dispatch can be agreed where the operation supports it. Do not assume a particular marketplace integration, same-day cutoff or item-level inventory feature until it is confirmed.

Can you move hanging garments?

Yes. Synergix provides garment transport with specialist hanging-rail options, subject to the booked capacity. Share the garment quantity, rail requirement, packaging and store allocations so the correct vehicle and handover can be arranged.

Can you deliver bulky goods to a customer’s room?

Two-person delivery and room placement can be arranged as part of an agreed service. Give us the packed item dimensions, stairs, lift restrictions and route through the property. Assembly, installation and packaging removal must also be included in the scope where needed.

Will you collect returns and empty cages?

Yes, where they are declared and included in the transport plan. Provide quantities, condition, return references and destinations. Damaged goods or waste need their own assessment rather than being added to an ordinary stock collection without notice.

Can we see delivery progress and PODs?

Yes. Live tracking and live proof of delivery help your team follow work and confirm handover. Registered customers can access the booking, tracking and POD portal. We agree the access and reporting arrangements required by your operation.

Is retail stock insured?

We provide fully insured transport. Declare the goods and their value so applicable cover can be confirmed for the booked service, including any additional arrangements for high-value stock.

How do you price a retail delivery programme?

The quote reflects routes, vehicles, volumes, frequency, stops, receiving time, handling and returns. Share a representative schedule and peak requirement so we can price the whole operation and identify a practical delivery model.
