Gold goods. Declared value. Agreed transport.
Gold transport.
Start with the right plan.
Moving gold needs more than a vehicle with enough space. The form of the goods, declared value, weight, releasing party and receiving arrangements all matter. Synergix assesses gold transport enquiries individually, using its wider high-value and dedicated transport capability. Tell us what needs moving, where and when. We will confirm whether a suitable service and applicable cover can be agreed before you book or release the goods.

Built around your work
Agree the movement before the goods leave.
A useful gold-transport enquiry identifies the consignment and the people authorised to release and receive it.
Start with the actual goods and value.
Describe whether the consignment contains finished jewellery, coins, bars or another form of gold. Provide the quantity, total weight, declared value and purpose of movement. These facts allow the service and applicable cover to be assessed. A familiar supplier or an existing courier account does not automatically mean every new gold load can be accepted. We confirm the agreed scope before a vehicle is allocated.
Check the release before arranging collection.
Ask the seller or auction house what authority, payment confirmation and appointment are needed to release the goods. Send the collection or lot reference, opening hours and the prepared package count. The dealer’s own delivery policy may differ from its rules for third-party collection. We need confirmation that the goods can be released to the agreed transport arrangement and that the receiver is available.
Keep the journey and handover clear.
Where a suitable movement is accepted, agree the collection point, receiving contact, timing and service terms. Dedicated courier transport can keep an accepted consignment together between the agreed locations. Include any required receipt and the party who can resolve a release or receiving query. A delivery record confirms the physical handover; it is separate from the sale, authentication or settlement of the goods.

The right vehicle for the movement.

Body type, refrigeration, door openings, tail lifts and other loading equipment change useful space and payload. The assigned vehicle, loaded weight, restraint and access must be checked. Floor space alone does not establish fit. Where pallet-truck handling is needed for a loaded pallet of 800 kg or more, request an electric pump truck.
Goods and requirements
Types of gold goods and movements we assess
These categories help you describe an enquiry. They do not establish acceptance or cover for a particular consignment. Confirm both with the team before booking.
- Gold bars and bullion
- Gold coins
- Gold jewellery
- Manufacturing materials
- Scrap and recovery material
- Authorised collections
Gold bars and bullion enquiries
Declare the form, number of pieces, packed weight, dimensions and value. A small package may be unusually dense and valuable. Tell us the releasing and receiving businesses and any requirements they place on collection. Bullion is assessed separately; ordinary courier availability and vehicle capacity do not by themselves confirm that the goods can be accepted.
Gold coins, sovereigns and collected pieces
Give the number of pieces or packages, declared total value and any protective cases or presentation boxes. Collectable value may differ from material value, so supply the value that needs to be considered for the movement. Keep the owner’s inventory and collection authority consistent with the shipment. Transport does not grade coins or establish their authenticity.
Finished gold jewellery and trade goods
Describe pieces, sets and additional stones or materials accurately. State quantity, value and whether the movement is a sale, stock transfer, repair return or collection. Acceptance and applicable cover need checking for the complete goods. The wider arts and luxury-goods offer also covers jewellery enquiries; this gold page does not turn every jewellery movement into a bullion service.
Gold components and materials for assessment
Provide the exact product form, composition information relevant to handling, package count, weight and value. Manufactured components differ from finished retail goods, bars or scrap. Declare powders, liquids, residues or other unusual contents rather than describing them simply as gold. The suitable transport and any specialist requirements must be established before acceptance.
Scrap gold and recovery-related enquiries
Explain what the material actually is, its condition and whether it includes other substances or has a waste classification. Give the origin and receiving business, packaging, weight and declared value. Material for refining or recovery needs a specific assessment. Do not assume a general high-value service accepts waste, residues or every form of scrap metal.
Dealer, auction and other controlled releases
Share the releasing organisation’s collection process, appointment requirement, reference and contact. If a vault, refinery or other controlled premises is involved, its approval and the suitable transport arrangements must be confirmed first. Naming a location in an enquiry does not establish access, an existing relationship or acceptance of its release conditions.
Why choose Synergix?
Clear answers before a valuable movement.
Practical transport, visibility and active support for the work behind the delivery.
60-minute UK-wide courier collections.
Synergix offers this rapid response for suitable courier work. Gold acceptance, cover and any specialist arrangements are checked separately, so the general collection proposition is not a promise that every gold movement can be dispatched within the hour.
Fully insured transport.
Our transport offer is fully insured, with applicable cover checked against the declared goods, value and service. For gold, obtain confirmation of acceptance and the relevant cover before booking. No standard amount or automatic bullion cover is assumed.
Live tracking and proof of delivery.
Tracking and electronic POD help you follow an agreed movement and confirm the authorised handover. Registered customers can use the booking, tracking and POD portal. Agree the records needed for this consignment with the team.
Dedicated direct courier transport.
A dedicated courier arrangement can reduce transfers for an accepted consignment. We agree the actual journey and any extra requirements before booking. The vehicle and handling must be appropriate to the declared goods, weight and value.
People available 24/7/365.
Speak to the operations team about ready times, receiving windows and changes to booked work. The wider UK and European operation provides a route-planning starting point; each gold movement still needs its own suitability and acceptance decision.
Practical transport judgement.
Three generations of family transport experience shape Synergix’s approach to vehicle choice, loading, timing and handover. Your enquiry gets a clear decision on the goods, route and service, with the limits of the agreed movement explained before collection.
Collection timing is confirmed against the location, ready time, traffic, vehicle and availability. Specialist transport needs its own assessment. Cover follows the declared goods, value and agreed service.
Acceptance and cover
Confirm the actual consignment.
Small size, high value and significant weight can occur together.
Goods, value and weight belong together.
Provide an accurate description, package count, total value, external dimensions and loaded weight. Include other materials or items travelling with the gold. The service cannot be assessed from an approximate value or a generic label alone. If the goods or value changes after the quote, contact the team for a revised acceptance and cover check.
Get the service confirmed before release.
We confirm whether a suitable movement can be arranged and which service and applicable cover are agreed. Identify any additional requirement from the owner, sender, receiver or insurer at this stage. Do not release the goods on the strength of a general website statement, a vehicle recommendation or a quote request that has not been accepted.
Release and receipt
The correct people at both ends.
A transport plan needs the sender’s authority and a receiver who can complete the handover.
Follow the releasing party’s process.
The sender may need a purchase, lot or transfer reference and advance authority for collection. Confirm when the goods will be prepared and the appointment available. The seller or owner remains responsible for authorising release. Agree any required supporting information through the appropriate contact channel, rather than publishing it in a public page or open comment.
Confirm receipt can be completed.
Provide the intended recipient, receiving location and agreed delivery window. Tell us beforehand if the receiver requires a particular record or appointment. The movement must have a clear response if goods cannot be released or accepted. Any later change of receiver or destination must be checked and agreed through the booking team.
Scope and pricing
Price the transport that is actually needed.
The quote follows the accepted goods and complete journey.
Include the practical details.
The package must suit the item’s density, surface protection and handling. Identify any additional packing work when enquiring and agree who provides it. Route, timing, value, vehicle, handling, waiting and receiving arrangements affect the assessment and quote. Storage, onward transfer or cross-border work needs a separate suitability check.
Keep specialist advice with the right people.
The physical movement is separate from buying, selling, valuation, assay, authentication, storage custody and financial settlement. Use your dealer, owner or appointed adviser for those matters. For an international enquiry, provide the route and documentation requirements so responsibilities and suitability can be checked before any commitment.

Useful answers before booking
Gold questions.
Practical answers about the goods, service and receiving arrangements.
Can Synergix transport gold?
We assess gold transport enquiries individually. Tell us the exact goods, weight, value, route and receiving arrangements. We confirm whether a suitable service and applicable cover can be agreed before booking.
Do you automatically accept gold bars or bullion?
No. Bullion requires a specific acceptance and cover assessment. General courier availability, a previous booking or enough vehicle space does not establish acceptance of the consignment.
Is gold automatically covered by your insurance?
No automatic gold or bullion cover is assumed. We provide fully insured transport, but applicable cover must be confirmed for the declared goods, value and agreed service before release.
Can you collect gold from a dealer or auction house?
This can be assessed once the goods, value and releasing party’s requirements are known. Obtain the collection reference, authority, ready time and appointment details, then agree the service before arranging release.
Can you collect from a vault or refinery?
Only consider this as a specific enquiry. The releasing organisation’s access and collection conditions, transport suitability and acceptance must be confirmed. This page does not imply an existing vault or refinery relationship.
Does the 60-minute collection offer apply to every gold enquiry?
No. It is our UK-wide proposition for suitable courier work. Gold acceptance, cover and any specialist arrangements must be checked first; these can change the collection time or suitability.
Can you assess gold coins or jewellery?
Yes. Describe the form, quantity, total declared value, packaging and receiving requirements. Coins and finished jewellery may need different handling and cover arrangements from bars or manufacturing material.
Do you accept scrap gold or material for refining?
It needs a specific assessment. Declare the exact contents, condition, packaging and any waste or hazardous status. Do not book it as an ordinary high-value parcel without that check.
Will an accepted consignment travel directly?
A dedicated direct courier movement can be agreed where suitable. Confirm the route, receiving arrangements and any additional work in the booked service rather than assuming a general high-value enquiry includes every requirement.
Can I follow the movement and obtain POD?
Tracking and electronic proof of delivery support accepted transport. Agree the contact, reference and record required for this job. A POD records handover, not metal quality, ownership or settlement.
Do you value, buy, sell or authenticate gold?
No. This page concerns transport assessment. Use a suitable dealer or qualified adviser for valuation, buying, selling, assay, authenticity, tax or investment matters.
What information do you need for a gold transport quote?
Send the exact goods, total weight, packed size, declared value, route, ready time and correct releasing and receiving parties. Add any special conditions so acceptance and the actual service can be checked.
