Built around your work
Get the kit to the next stage.
An early call, an urgent replacement and a wrap return need different timing. We plan the movement around the work.
Bring the missing item directly to the unit.
When a supplier or hire house has the equipment ready, a dedicated courier can collect it and take it to the agreed studio or location contact. Send the release reference, packed size, weight and latest useful arrival. Tell us whether delivery is to a stage, unit base or another receiving point. A postcode and production title alone may not identify the correct gate or the person who can accept the kit.
Prepare the next location before the move.
Group flight cases, wardrobe trunks, props and production supplies by destination, with a clear loading list. We can plan van, rigid or articulated transport around the volume and receiving windows. Include vehicle-height limits, loading-bay availability and handling equipment at both ends. Multiple collections or vehicles need an agreed sequence so a department does not receive the last case before the equipment it must use first.
Close the transport loop after the shoot.
The last movement can matter as much as the first. Give us the wrap-ready time, equipment list, hire-house return references and receiving cutoff. Include empty cases, reusable packaging and items returning to different suppliers. A late wrap may change the collection or require a new return arrangement. Keep the production contact available so the team can agree a practical response if goods are not ready.
Choose by the actual load
The right vehicle for the movement.
From a compact courier load to larger equipment. Vehicle size is one part of the plan; specialist goods, value and handling also need agreement.

Body type, refrigeration, door openings, tail lifts and other loading equipment change useful space and payload. The assigned vehicle, loaded weight, restraint and access must be checked. Floor space alone does not establish fit. Where pallet-truck handling is needed for a loaded pallet of 800 kg or more, request an electric pump truck.
Goods and requirements
Types of production goods we transport
Use the category overview to identify your load. Include cases, stands and accessories in the dimensions and total weight.
- Camera and lenses
- Lighting and grip
- Sound and broadcast
- Props and dressing
- Wardrobe
- Drives and media
- Production supplies
- Return cases and hire kit
Camera packages, lenses and accessories
Move suitably protected cameras, lenses, monitors and accessories in cases appropriate to their sensitivity and value. Give the case count and declared value, and say whether equipment must stay upright or cannot be stacked. Identify the releasing hire house and intended department. Transport does not include camera preparation, technical testing or responsibility for the equipment being production-ready.
Lighting, stands and grip equipment
Long stands, rigging components and dense cases can use load space differently from boxed lights. Provide the longest packed dimensions and heaviest individual piece, with restraints or handling instructions where relevant. Declare batteries, lamps and other regulated contents. Loading or unloading equipment must be available for heavy items; collection does not include rigging, working at height or electrical connection.
Sound, communications and broadcast kit
Consoles, racks, microphones and communications equipment need clear case identification and suitable protection. Give the full size of wheeled racks, not just the equipment inside. Confirm whether the destination is a stage, truck-side handover or stores entrance and who will receive it. Large racks need their weight, lift access and loading method agreed.
Props, set dressing and prepared scenery
Describe fragile finishes, awkward shapes, removable pieces and whether anything can be stacked. Long scenery and bulky dressing may require a larger vehicle despite modest weight. Provide photographs if useful. Unusual props, replica weapons, liquids or hazardous contents must be declared for assessment. Construction, installation and prop operation remain separately scoped work.
Costumes, wardrobe trunks and hanging garments
Keep garments clean, protected and allocated to the correct production or department. State whether goods are in trunks, boxes or need hanging-rail capacity. Include the rails and cases in the load profile. Agree collection and handover with the wardrobe contact, plus any return to a rental supplier. Hanging options depend on the booked vehicle and availability.
Prepared drives, rushes and physical media
Give the package count and a named releasing and receiving contact. The production team should prepare and protect the media and apply its own backup, encryption and information-handling requirements. We agree the physical transport and handover. Proof of delivery confirms receipt of the package, not file integrity, successful copying or data recovery.
Office supplies, documents and consumables
Scripts, printed materials, office equipment and packaged supplies can move between the production office, suppliers and unit base. Separate items by destination and provide a collection reference. Identify confidential or restricted contents before booking and agree suitable handling. Batteries, chemicals, aerosols and other regulated goods require their own acceptance check.
Hire returns, empty cases and reusable equipment
Keep returned kit matched to the supplier’s reference and make clear what is ready to leave. Count cases and loose accessories against the agreed release list. Damaged, leaking or battery-containing equipment needs its condition declared. A transport receipt does not replace the hire company’s inventory, testing or return-condition process.
Why choose Synergix?
Keep the production team informed.
Practical transport, visibility and active support for the work behind the delivery.
60-minute UK-wide courier collections.
Get ready equipment or props moving quickly when the next department is waiting. We confirm the window for location, vehicle and load. Larger production moves and specialist handling require their own capacity check.
Fully insured transport.
Declare camera packages, lenses, broadcast equipment and other valuable goods before booking. We confirm applicable cover for the actual consignment and service, rather than assuming a small case has a small value.
Live tracking and proof of delivery.
Tracking helps production coordinate receipt while electronic POD confirms the handover. Registered customers can use the booking, tracking and POD portal to keep records for repeat movements and hire-house returns.
Dedicated direct courier delivery.
A dedicated courier vehicle takes the ready load between the agreed collection and receiving points. Fewer transfers reduce unnecessary handling of cases, delicate props and time-sensitive packages.
Active operations, 24/7/365.
Early calls, night movements and changing wrap times need a reachable team. Operations monitors booked work and acts when access or timings change. UK and European capability supports the agreed programme beyond a single local run.
Practical decisions about the whole job.
Three generations of family transport experience inform vehicle choice, handling and handover. Synergix is trusted by some of the largest companies in the sectors it serves, with courier, haulage, storage and specialist services available around a properly scoped requirement.
Collection timing is confirmed against the location, ready time, traffic, vehicle and availability. Specialist transport needs its own assessment. Cover follows the declared goods, value and agreed service.
Studios and locations
Deliver to the unit, with the right access.
The actual receiving point matters more than the public entrance.
Use the production’s delivery instructions.
Provide the production or booking reference, gate, stage or goods-in point and named receiver. Check permitted delivery times, vehicle limits and whether a slot or pass is required. The production or studio must arrange the necessary access. A transport booking does not itself authorise entry to a restricted stage or permission to unload wherever space appears available.
Keep the access plan current.
For rural sites or temporary bases, supply the approved approach, safe unloading area and contact who can direct the vehicle. Tell us about narrow lanes, unsuitable ground, height restrictions and any local permit or escort. If the unit moves during the journey, contact operations to agree the revised destination and timing before the driver arrives.
Production timing
Plan the useful arrival, then the return.
We work from ready goods and realistic receiving windows.
Work backwards from the next task.
Give the hire house’s release time and closing hours as well as the production deadline. Include preparation, loading and handover time. If goods are not yet released, identify the person who can confirm readiness. We check the available vehicle and journey before agreeing the movement, without promising that transport alone can prevent a production delay.
Include it in the quote.
Tell us whether the driver must wait, return to the supplier or move equipment to another location. State the expected duration and what happens if the schedule changes. Waiting, additional stops and overnight arrangements are priced for the job. Do not assume an included waiting period or a full-day standby service from a standard courier quote.
Equipment and media
Protect the case and define the handover.
Prepare sensitive goods and any unusual contents before dispatch.
Use suitable cases and lifting arrangements.
Identify fragile faces, protruding fittings and non-stackable cases. Provide the weight of the heaviest piece and tell us who loads and unloads it. Heavy racks or scenery can need a tail lift or other handling arrangement. Additional people, room positioning, unpacking or assembly must be agreed, rather than assumed to be part of a standard vehicle delivery.
Agree the individual requirement.
Prepared drives and confidential materials need the production’s handling instructions and correct receiving people. Declare high values, batteries, hazardous props and temperature requirements at quotation stage. We assess the service required. Technical data management, verification, restoration and transport of passengers or crew are separate from the goods movement described here.

Useful answers before booking
Film, Television & Production questions.
Practical answers about the goods, service and receiving arrangements.
Can you collect production equipment on the same day?
Yes. Send the ready equipment, collection reference, packed load and latest useful arrival. We confirm the vehicle and direct delivery plan with the correct studio or location contact.
How quickly can a production courier collect?
Our UK-wide courier proposition offers 60-minute collections, with the actual window confirmed for the location, vehicle, load and availability. Larger or specialist moves need their own capacity and handling check.
Can you collect from a camera or lighting hire house?
Yes, once the equipment is released and ready. Provide the hire reference, case list, opening hours and collection authority, plus the receiving production contact.
Do you deliver early in the morning or overnight?
Yes, by arrangement. Operations is available 24/7/365. Collection access and an authorised receiver must also be available at the agreed time.
Can you deliver to a remote filming location?
We can assess the location and access. Supply the approved approach, vehicle restrictions, safe unloading point and a contact who can direct the driver. Unsuitable ground may need a different handover arrangement.
Can the driver wait and return equipment?
Waiting, return runs and onward locations can be agreed in the quote. Give the expected duration and schedule. There is no assumed free waiting period or standby allocation.
Do you carry drives and rushes?
We can arrange physical transport of prepared media with an agreed handover to named contacts. Apply your production’s backup, encryption and handling procedures. Transport and POD do not verify file integrity.
Can you move costumes on hanging rails?
Hanging-garment options can be arranged subject to vehicle and capacity. Tell us the garment quantity, rail requirement, trunks and cases so the correct space and handover are planned.
Can you return hire equipment after wrap?
Yes, where the kit is ready, accepted and the return is agreed. Provide hire references, case quantities, condition and the supplier’s receiving cutoff. Tell operations promptly if wrap timing changes.
Are cameras and other valuable items insured?
We provide fully insured transport. Declare the equipment and value so applicable cover can be confirmed for the booked service. Do not assume a standard amount covers every camera package.
Can you move batteries or unusual props?
These need a pre-booking assessment. Declare contents, condition, quantity and relevant classification or supplier information. We confirm whether a suitable service can be provided.
Do you provide crew transport or production vehicles to hire?
This page covers goods transport with an agreed driver and vehicle. Crew or passenger travel, technical production vehicles and self-drive hire are separate requirements and are not offered by this page.
Start with the actual requirement
Where is the kit, and when is it needed?
Send the ready goods, collection point, production deadline and correct receiver. We will confirm a practical movement for the job.
