Synergix provides dedicated courier and assessed specialist transport for art, antiques and luxury goods, including watches and jewellery. We plan UK and European movements around the item, declared value, packaging and authorised receiver. Send the collection reference, goods and timing so we can confirm the right service before anything is released.

Built around your work

Care for the piece. Control the handover.

The important delivery may fit in one case or need a much larger vehicle. Start with what makes the item difficult to replace.

Gallery and auction collections

Collect the right item, with the right authority.

Use the sale, lot or gallery reference to identify what is ready for release. Auction houses may need payment confirmation, written collection authority and a booked slot before a driver can take the goods. We coordinate transport around that release and the receiver’s availability. Include each packed item, loose components and the collection deadline. A sale description alone may not include the crate or frame dimensions needed for the vehicle.

Luxury retail and aftercare

Connect the shop, workshop and customer.

Watches, jewellery and luxury accessories can need stock transfers, repair movements or agreed customer delivery. Declare the contents and value before booking, even where the outer package is small. Identify who may release and receive the consignment, and agree the record needed at handover. We assess the service and applicable cover for the particular movement rather than applying ordinary parcel assumptions to high-value stock.

Prepared art and antiques

Plan the movement around the object.

Framed artwork, sculpture, antique furniture and collectors’ pieces need suitable preparation, space and handling. Tell us about fragile surfaces, detachable parts, orientation and whether the object can be stacked. Photographs and packed measurements help identify the vehicle and team. For particularly delicate, unstable or museum-loan objects, provide the owner’s specialist instructions and any insurer or lender conditions before the transport is agreed.

Choose by the actual load

The right vehicle for the movement.

From a compact courier load to larger equipment. Vehicle size is one part of the plan; specialist goods, value and handling also need agreement.

Body type, refrigeration, door openings, tail lifts and other loading equipment change useful space and payload. The assigned vehicle, loaded weight, restraint and access must be checked. Floor space alone does not establish fit. Where pallet-truck handling is needed for a loaded pallet of 800 kg or more, request an electric pump truck.

Goods and requirements

Types of art, antiques and luxury goods we transport

Explore the main categories below. Acceptance, protection and applicable cover are confirmed for the actual goods and declared value.

  • Paintings and prints
  • Sculpture and objects
  • Antique furniture
  • Ceramics and glass
  • Watches
  • Jewellery
  • Luxury stock
  • Collections and displays
Paintings, prints and framed artwork

Give the full protected dimensions, including frame and crate. Glazing, protruding decoration and vulnerable surfaces can change how a piece is supported and secured. Tell us if it must remain upright or cannot have anything against its face. Packing, unpacking and hanging need their own agreed scope. We do not infer conservation suitability from a photograph.

Sculpture and three-dimensional artwork

An uneven centre of gravity or projecting detail may matter more than the overall size. Provide the transport base, weight, lifting points and owner’s instructions. Crating and supports must suit the object. Large or fragile pieces may require specialist handlers, a site assessment or lifting arrangements before a vehicle can be committed.

Antique furniture, mirrors and clocks

Describe loose drawers, removable components, fragile veneer and glass. Include packed sizes and access at both properties, particularly stairs, narrow turns and usable lift space. Confirm who will prepare the item, load and unload it, and whether room placement is required. Disassembly, restoration and setting a clock running are separate tasks requiring agreement or a suitable specialist.

Ceramics, china and decorative glass

Provide the item count and preparation details for fragile sets and individual pieces. Each object needs suitable protection against movement and contact. A large box of small pieces may need more careful preparation than its dimensions suggest. Declare existing damage or loose elements before collection and keep the piece list with the shipment record.

Watches and timepieces

A single watch, several retail units and a larger clock create different requirements. Give the number of pieces, declared value, cases and service or collection reference. Agree release and receipt with the correct person. Packaging must protect the item and accessories. Transport does not include authentication, valuation or proof of ownership, and high-value acceptance is confirmed before booking.

Jewellery and precious accessories

Describe the goods accurately, including loose pieces, sets, stones and precious-metal content relevant to acceptance and cover. Provide the declared value and authorised contacts. Agree the package count and required receipt. We assess jewellery movements individually; contents must not be left undeclared under a general label such as samples or accessories.

Designer accessories and luxury retail goods

Move prepared accessories, leather goods and premium stock between agreed business or customer locations. Protect finishes and prevent crushing, and include cases or display packaging in the dimensions. Keep transfers matched to the retailer’s stock reference and receiving authority. Display equipment travelling with the goods needs its own space and handling details.

Collectables, display pieces and exhibition returns

Identify objects that belong together and reusable cases travelling back. An exhibition return may have a different entrance, packing team or receiver from the outward journey. Keep inventory references and condition records consistent. Hazardous historical objects, restricted materials and unusual contents need specific assessment before acceptance.

Why choose Synergix?

A clear plan for valuable, personal goods.

Practical transport, visibility and active support for the work behind the delivery.

Time-sensitive collections

60-minute UK-wide courier collections.

Get ready goods moving when a release or retail deadline is close. We confirm the appropriate response against location and goods. Specialist handling or security arrangements may require more preparation than a standard courier collection.

Cover matched to the goods

Fully insured transport.

Declare the nature and value of the pieces so applicable cover can be confirmed for the booked movement. High-value art, watches and jewellery may need additional arrangements. Agree cover alongside the transport plan, before release.

Know the handover happened

Live tracking and proof of delivery.

Follow the movement and confirm receipt by the agreed contact. Electronic POD helps a gallery, retailer or owner close the transfer. Registered customers can access bookings, tracking and delivery records through the customer portal.

Fewer transfers

Dedicated direct courier delivery.

A vehicle dedicated to your courier job keeps the consignment together between the releasing and receiving locations. Fewer transfers reduce avoidable handling for framed work, delicate objects and carefully prepared retail stock.

People managing the movement

Active support, 24/7/365.

The operations team can act if a collection is not released, a receiver changes or access is delayed. UK and European capability connects local collections with longer movements, with documentation and receiving arrangements agreed for the route.

Experience behind decisions

Practical transport judgement.

Three generations of family transport experience inform the planning. Synergix is trusted by some of the largest companies in the sectors it serves. We apply that attention to the load, handling and receiver for an individual owner’s job as well as repeat business.

Collection timing is confirmed against the location, ready time, traffic, vehicle and availability. Specialist transport needs its own assessment. Cover follows the declared goods, value and agreed service.

Auction and gallery release

A lot number belongs in the plan.

Get the collection authorised and prepared before dispatch.

Release details

Check the collection instructions.

Provide sale and lot references, collecting authority, collection address and ready date. Ask what packaging is included and whether a slot must be booked. We need the actual packed load and opening hours. A paid invoice does not necessarily mean the object is wrapped, available at the public entrance or ready to be loaded.

Receipt and records

Use the agreed receiving person.

Confirm the delivery contact, booking and identification instructions. Match the piece or package count to release paperwork. Tell us what receipt or additional condition record your process requires. Electronic POD confirms handover; it does not replace an expert condition assessment or authenticate the object.

Protection and access

Plan the packing and the final few metres.

A suitable vehicle cannot make up for unsuitable preparation or inaccessible delivery.

Before collection

Make the piece fit to travel.

Share handling and environmental instructions from the owner, maker, conservator or insurer where relevant. The condition, supports and packing must suit the journey. If professional packing or crating is needed, identify it at quotation stage and agree who supplies it. Do not assume a standard courier will improvise protection for unprepared artwork.

At the destination

Agree placement and unloading.

Give stairs, doorway dimensions, narrow corners, lift restrictions and loading access. Larger furniture and sculptures can need a suitable team and equipment. Room placement, unpacking or assembly must be agreed and priced. Hanging, conservation, installation and specialist lifting are not automatic parts of a transport booking.

Value and wider movements

Confirm the service before release.

Value, route and handling requirements shape acceptance as well as price.

Watches and jewellery

Declare the full consignment.

Provide an accurate description, total value and package count through the agreed contact channel. Identify the releasing business and authorised receiver. We confirm acceptance, applicable cover and any additional arrangements before booking. A regular account or previous low-value shipment does not automatically establish cover for a different item.

UK and European delivery

Plan both ends of the route.

For European work, give origin, destination, purpose of movement and relevant documentation. Loans, sales and repair returns can need different arrangements. Agree customs responsibilities and specialist permissions with the relevant parties. Storage between dates needs a separate suitability check for valuable or environmentally sensitive objects.

UK and European transport

Tell us what, where and when.

Send the item description, value and actual packed size, with collection release and receiving details. Keep sensitive instructions within the agreed private booking conversation.

  1. The piecesDescriptions, count, references and photographs where useful.
  2. Value and acceptanceDeclared total value and insurer, owner or lender conditions.

Useful answers before booking

Arts, Antiques, Watches & Jewellery questions.

Practical answers about the goods, service and receiving arrangements.

Can you collect art or antiques from an auction house?

Yes, once the goods and service are accepted and the auction house can release the items. Send sale and lot references, collection authority, packed dimensions, value and the available slot.

Do you transport watches and jewellery?

Yes, through an individually assessed service. Declare the goods and value, package count and releasing and receiving contacts. Acceptance and applicable cover must be confirmed before collection.

Are valuable pieces automatically covered by standard insurance?

No. We provide fully insured transport, but applicable cover must be checked against the declared goods, value and service. Discuss art, watches, jewellery and unusually valuable pieces before booking.

How quickly can an art courier collect?

Our courier proposition offers 60-minute UK-wide collections, with timing confirmed for the goods, location and vehicle. Specialist preparation, handling or additional arrangements may require longer lead time.

Will the goods travel in a dedicated vehicle?

A dedicated direct courier movement can be agreed for your consignment. It keeps goods together and reduces transfers. Confirm the complete service, including storage or additional stops, when booking.

Do you pack or crate artwork?

Tell us what protection is required before booking. We agree the packing scope and who provides suitable materials or specialist packing. A standard collection does not automatically include bespoke crating or conservation.

Can you move a heavy sculpture or antique cabinet?

We can assess it from packed dimensions, weight, photographs, handling instructions and access. Specialist loading, lifting or a suitable team may be needed. Agree arrangements before collection.

Can you deliver inside a property?

Room placement or additional handling can be arranged where suitable and agreed. Provide stairs, doors, lift dimensions, parking and the route inside. Hanging, assembly and installation must be scoped separately.

Can I track the delivery?

Yes. Live tracking and electronic POD help you follow the movement and confirm handover. Registered customers can use the booking, tracking and POD portal. Agree the references and receiver needed.

Do you offer European art and luxury-goods transport?

Yes, subject to goods, value, route and service assessment. Send the purpose of movement and documentation requirements. Customs responsibilities and specialist permissions must be agreed with the relevant parties.

How much does an art courier cost?

Route, vehicle, urgency, value, packing, handling, waiting and access affect the quote. Share the complete requirement so the price includes the actual collection and delivery work.

Can you authenticate or value the goods?

No. Use a suitably qualified specialist for authentication, valuation or conservation advice. We need your declared description, value and handling instructions to assess the transport.

Start with the actual requirement

Tell us about the piece and the journey.

Send what is ready, where it is held, its value and where it needs to arrive. We will check the transport, protection and handover with you.
