2. Objectives

To achieve our environmental commitments, we will:

  • Reduce Emissions: Minimize greenhouse gas emissions from our vehicle fleet through route optimization, driver training, and transitioning to low-emission and electric vehicles where feasible.

  • Fuel Efficiency: Regularly service and maintain vehicles to maximize fuel efficiency and reduce unnecessary fuel consumption.

  • Sustainable Procurement: Source environmentally responsible products and services, prioritizing recycled, recyclable, and ethically produced materials.

  • Waste Reduction: Reduce waste generation across the business and promote recycling and reuse of materials.

  • Pollution Prevention: Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of all hazardous and non-hazardous materials to prevent land, air, and water pollution.

  • Energy Use: Monitor and manage energy consumption within offices and depots, aiming to reduce electricity and heating usage.

  • Employee Awareness: Educate and train employees to understand their environmental responsibilities and encourage them to contribute to sustainability goals.

The Managing Director is responsible for overseeing the implementation and review of this Environmental Policy. All employees are expected to support the policy and help the company meet its environmental commitments.
